Enjoy a peaceful visit to the farm in this cozy and comfortable bed-and-breakfast retreat. Wake up with breakfast brought to your door, then spend the morning leisurely exploring the surrounding apple orchards and gardens. Located on a working farm/cidery, you can learn about apple culture and even stroll through the orchards tasting different varieties of apples during the harvest season. The farm's chickens provide very tasty eggs which you'll enjoy for breakfast; there are cows and lots of wild-life just outside your door! The cottage is set up comfortably for two people with all the spa amenities. Guests have stayed here for the last several years; you can read reviews online by following the review link on our website after searching for our name (AppleGarden Cottage) on the web. Breakfast is brought to the cottage each morning with all organic and home-made items. Fresh eggs from our pasture-raised chickens, local dairy items, and our own hard cider is stocked in the fridge. Guests can enjoy touring the apple orchard and cidery, and visiting with the resident chickens. They have complete privacy inside the cottage. Free EV charger for guest use. We live full-time on the farm in the main house and are always on-site when our guests are present. We enjoy visiting with folks if they want to tour the farm or need suggestions for activities. Tomales is 68 miles from both San Franciso (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) airports. There are many hiking opportunities just a short distance from the farm: Point Reyes National Seashore has wonderful trails to explore. There are local cheesemakers who have educational tours; Tomales Bay is perfect for kayaking, and of course there are several oyster farm choices for the bivalve lover! Spectacular beaches are just an easy drive away. If the weather's nice, bring your bikes! EVC available for your car. There is no public transportation. We are located about an hour from San Francisco (traffic depending) and about 20 minutes from Petaluma. Fee includes breakfast for two each morning. Free wi-fi, satellite TV with premium channels, land-line phone with free calls (cell phone coverage is difficult), internet radio The weather is quite changeable; dressing in layers is the best idea since the morning can start out foggy, lots of sunshine during the day, and a brisk breeze in the afternoons. No animals - no exceptions, no matter how well behaved you may think they are, so please don't ask. On rainy days, enjoy the cozy comfort of reading next to the fireplace, or venture out to watch to storm at Bodega Head. Plan to bring snacks or other things you'd enjoy eating; we provide breakfast (of course!) and there are restaurants fairly close by, but no stores or places to just run out and get a quick treat!

Nice, quiet and comfy place. Kitchen has everything you need, beds are comfy, neighborhood is quiet. I didn’t have a car during the day and easily walked to downtown Santa Rosa and enjoyed all the beautiful craftsman houses along the way. We would stay there again.

We had a great stay near Occidental over President's Day Weekend. Private location surrounded by vineyards and very close proximity to the Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley. The house has a separate area to use as an office which I used on Friday and enjoyed relaxing at the house between hikes on the coast.

Kathy and Jim's place was exactly as pictured. My husband and I enjoyed the Hawaiian theme, and we really loved spending time in the hot tub on chilly nights. There were so many nice touches - a welcome bottle of wine, coffee, cheese, breakfast items - and the cottage is well-stocked with anything you might need. You're an easy Uber ride away from wineries and the main square. Though the square is walkable if you feel up for approx a mile long walk. We wouldn't hesitate to book again!!

Our stay was nestled in between two businesses and yet was very quiet. It bordered a neighborhood. Sydney’s place was clean, welcoming, very spacious, and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and lovely, equipped with two sinks, a huge shower, and large soaking tub. The decor was calming, and the bed was wonderful and cushy. We had a little backyard patio as well, and while we didn’t have time to use it, unfortunately, it was a nice touch. Very much appreciated the complimentary breakfast at The Grape Lead Inn as well. It was lovely. Would certainly stay again for a luxe vacation.

I felt lucky to have found Robyn's bnb. I think one of my best Airbnb experiences ever. The Studio was lovely, private, quiet and peaceful. It had everything I needed and worked well. Robyn and her husband were welcoming and extremely helpful. The bed was too soft for me and they did what they could to accommodate my needs. I would stay there again in heartbeat. I figured that the location and having the kitchen and a very cool tv remote that pulled up most channels by voice activation was everything I needed. And the garden is amazing. Close to downtown, parks, shopping. And I learned a lot from them. Totally delightful stay

We had a wonderful time. The hot tub was great, the creek was better. Had a great pizza at Raymond's bakery in Cazadero. One of Lendris recommendations. Also spent a day at Goatrock Beach with our dogs. The kids and dogs loved the creek. The creek is so close we could let the kids go without us. We could hear them from the cabin. The next door neighbor is a local and gave us a great history of the area. Overall we had a ball. Looking forward to next year! Thank you

Quaint cottage in Calistoga with coffee and restaurants within walking distance. Easy checkin and communication with the host. The room was clean and had a fire place and spa sized bath tub. We would definitely consider booking here again on our next trip to Calistoga.
