Beachfront vacation rentals in Somerset West

I live in Newlands , Cape Town and visit Dalebrook tidal pool and that area regularly. Going there for a break and staying over was just perfect for me,in this picturesque seaside village

Rodney and Fran are two amazing people we had the pleasure of meeting, they went above and beyond what was expected and helped me when I was sick as well. their place is lovely, surrounded by gardens and feels very peaceful. can't recommend this place enough!

We had the most incredible stay at this stunning property in Smitswinkel Bay! The views are absolutely breathtaking – waking up to the sight of the ocean and majestic mountains through those massive windows was pure magic. The space is cozy, beautifully designed, and perfectly blends comfort with nature. It’s the ideal spot to unwind, read a book, or simply soak up the serenity while enjoying the panoramic scenery. Suggest you pack light as Jane suggested.

We spent a lovelly month in the house. The situation was perfect just near the beach and the house is very confortable. Our guest was very carring about us! thank you for everything

Tim is a very hospitable host, he met us at check in day, helped with luggage. There were fresh flowers at home, clean beds and towels, nice welcome drink. Tim advised several interesting spots. The house has a great view from bedroom and living area. Was a pleasure to wake up and see the ocean. Every day we walked to the beach (5 minutes literally). There are some coffee shops and restaurants. Very good locations of shops. Very safe area! A lot of people running and swimming. Beautiful nature, surrounded with mountains. It has gas and every time we could cook and make tea. Very good variety of things for cooking inside the house. Tim has a nice secret garden :) Tim is a very friendly and sporty person, he told us about sport opportunities around. Tim was easy to communicate every time we wrote him with questions, He also advised us a nice clean lady and looked about the garden himself. One of the best hospitable stayings.

Rocklands on sea was honestly something else - so peaceful, serene, we felt so much at home! Matt was amazing - he went over and above to answer questions and was very accommodating. My family thoroughly enjoyed the trip and I'll recommend this home to anyone looking for a blissful and restful retreat.

I enjoyed staying here, the host has impeccable taste and the place was very welcoming and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful as well you can hear the ocean at night.

We had a lovely stay at Mark and Alisa's place. They were very thoughtful and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. Their place has everything you need and adequate heating for the colder Cape town weather. It is located in a quiet and safe area which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Worth every penny!! This place is so beautiful I definitely give it. 6 star if possible because wow!!! It was for my family for my wedding and they were just beyond happy. Check in takes a tech savy fellow though but I can understand the security need so no complaints

Wow, probably the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in (and we’ve stayed in some cool spots). We managed to see the Airbnb hosts as they were leaving and they were so lovely, even left us a bottle of wine which we enjoyed by the fireplace in the evening. You will not regret booking this place!

A stunning property which we absolutely loved. The views from all over the house are outstanding. Property is so spacious. Lots of wonderful areas to the house spoilt for choice where to eat or relax. Which was a lovely position to be in when we are a family of teenagers, middle aged & pensioners. We so wished we could stay longer and were sad to leave.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wesley’s place. Wesley is very responsive. His place has beautiful views of Table Mountain and was exactly like the pictures. It is clean, easy to find and close to restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

I can not express in words a treasure of beauty this penthouse is, its location will complete your holiday. The most breathtaking sunset views from the balcony. Very well equipped spacious modern super clean. Truely a real gem in Blouberg. All amenities walking distance. Our second time we stayed here and appreciated it even more. From clean bedding’s towels well equipped kitchen comfy beds pure luxury to enjoy a holiday. We hosted our son’s 30th birthday and family reunion, memories of joy laughter ultimate luxury of comfort we all want in a holiday. I will continue to book this place as it’s well taken care off and makes my holiday complete. Well worth the cost and I loved that all the restaurants from Catch 22, Cattle Baron, Trescatelli a stones throw away. I look forward to our next trip and stay at Gerran place. Very well hosted and attended to all our request. We made great family memories in this place and I could not have asked for more. I highly recommend. Thank you Gerran🥰

What a place ... expensive but worth every cent that is paid for it

An unforgettable seaside escape We had an amazing family vacation at Eva and Ken’s property at Rooi Els. They are super awesome hosts who have created a home that is artistic, comfortable, and hospitable. The house is stunning, with a pure white interior and beautiful art pieces. The rooms have a breathtaking view of the sea, with privacy and tranquility. The facilities inside are superb, with a great collection of books, DVDs, furniture, and a modern kitchen. We saw a full moon night at the property, and it was magical. We watched the moonlight over the sea from the master bedroom’s deck. It was a moment we will never forget. Eva and Ken made our stay enjoyable and memorable. They kept in touch with us and provided us with any help we needed. They made us feel like family, and we are so thankful for their kindness. The property is safe, secure, and addictive. We didn’t want to leave, and we loved every moment of being together in this seaside escape. Thank you, Eva and Ken!

A great place to visit and Quintus is a friendly host. The view of the beach is amazing, access is not an issue and the place is kept clean. Really happy with my stay and would do it again ☆☆☆☆☆

The home is incredible! An older era of architecture with spacious ceilings and rooms. The kitchen, braai, and patio seating easily accommodated meals for 10 people. The walls in front of the home block noise and views from the street and leave you speechlessly watching and listening to the ocean waves when falling asleep. Would recommend! Elsbeth and team were installing a new gate for security, and she was very responsive to figure out any issues we had with it as the first guests to stay there!
