Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Somerset County

An absolutely beautiful setting! The house was as described, we really enjoyed the gorgeous sunrise and the big windows to get the full view! The beds were comfortable, and everything was on the same floor. This was helpful since we were traveling with my 89 year old mother. The kitchen was very nice, and had everything we needed. The peacefulness was much appreciated. We would love to come back again for a longer stay sometime!

A lovely stay and great base for weekend ski trip at 7 Springs. Tammy was a really communicative host and the place was perfect for two families with five kids. Would certainly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Michael’s rental. It was close to the GAP Rail trail which made for a wonderful long weekend riding in the fall leaves. The location was accessible to local grocery store and the restaurants in Confluence. Check in was easy with a lock box and everything was as pictured. We will definitely book again for next year.

We had a great time staying in George’s home. It was spacious, private, and had everything we needed and more, they even left us cookies on the counter when we checked in! The home itself is larger than I expected and has a very unique feel to it. We enjoyed just walking around the house checking out all of the cool decorations and other touches for awhile after putting our things away. The town it’s in is small but cute and has more than I expected. Everything you need and more. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

We loved the house, great for our group! Hosts were very prepared and responsive - appreciate all the thought that went into the home! Loved being able to walk to slopes. Did have a little trouble with delivery drivers (Instacart) being unable to find the home/address, but a minor problem.

Wonderful little retreat near the mountain! Very hospitable, communicative host! Would highly recommend for anyone going to the Seven Springs area :)

This house was beautiful with lots of space. There were dishes to use and everything was very clean and upgraded in the bathrooms. The BEST part of all was the Sauna. We enjoyed it so much and it was the best part of our trip! Over all recommend this great cabin in the woods!

Had a wonderful stay at this spotless apartment with a lovely view of the confluence of rivers. The host was responsive and helpful. We felt at home with everything we needed, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable living room, spacious dining room and luxurious bedroom suite with its own deck door. We had breakfast and coffee on the huge deck while enjoying ducks and boats on the water. Heard trains but slept fine. Being able to lock our bicycles in designated storage was a huge plus, as was the convenience of having bikes right outside the door for a beautiful ride on the treelined Great Allegheny Passage trail to OhioPyle in the state park 10 miles away. A fawn nibbled berries as we arrived for an incredible dinner at the Riversedge Cafe, a short walk from the apartment. The Confluence Convenience mart was open when we needed supplies on a Monday evening. And so glad we stopped at the nearby Tissue Farm for Chai, scone and art on our way out to Kentuck Knob - a must-see!

A comfortable, spotlessly clean little apartment. Everything was as described. Diana was responsive to our questions but was not intrusive at all. We had a bonfire outside, sat on the front porch, listened to the trains, and walked around town. Enjoyed a couple of great meals at the River's Edge Cafe, just a short walk away. A great experience. Joe’s house is a great place to stay with a small group of friends. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood during a snowy week. There were guests staying in the unit below us that can be heard, but we had no issues with loud noises during quiet hours. We did experience some discomfort with the “master bedroom” bed/ mattress but would definitely stay at Joe’s again.

We loved this place! I was wanting a place in ligonier where I could just stop for one night and this place checks all the boxes! It was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Needed a place to stay on my weekend bike trip. Theresa got back to me immediately as all other places I contacted went straight to voicemail. when I got to room I realized I've ridden by here many times and always wanted to stay at this location. I was completely surprised I was actually staying here and it was well worth it. Excellent stay and will be back.

A great place to stay if you're skiing at Hidden Valley. It was the perfect getaway that enabled us to get to the resort early and in 5 minutes. A pet friendly home and a well stocked kitchen. We arrived Friday evening and woke up to 10" of snow! It made for a peaceful long weekend when we weren't skiing. Thank you!

Nice little cabin get away! We spent the weekend skiing at Hidden Valley, which was just a few minutes away. We enjoy the wood burning fireplace and comfortable beds. The temperature inside was very cold when we arrived, but Elijah was quick to respond. Look forward to returning again!

The space is lovely and has tons of room! We had the fire burning all throughout the weekend. Hot tub was fabulous. House is in good proximity to seven springs, an easy drive! The master bedroom with the massive bathroom was amazing. Michael and Anthony were extremely kind and responsive hosts! The supply of wood, well stocked kitchen, and cozy cabin made for a great weekend.

The house is spacious with multiple living areas, allowing our group to spread out and relax. The hot tub and large fireplace were highlights, just be sure to bring firewood and open the flue beforehand. Check-in and check-out were super easy and the host was flexible, which we really appreciated. Great location -mere minutes to the mountain with easy access. The driveway is steep and was very icy, we used the second entrance to make it up to the house. Make sure upon arrival to check for a binder that includes instructions like how to warm up the house and turn the water on. The house was generally clean, but it wasn’t the most spotless Airbnb we’ve stayed in. The kitchen was well-equipped, though there wasn’t much pantry space for storing enough for 16. There aren’t a lot of groceries stores nearby so be sure to stop by a Walmart or other supermarket before you arrive. The loft stairs are very steep, so should be able-bodied to access. Bedrooms were nice and comfortable.

The home was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We came for Thanksgiving weekend as we needed more space to accommodate our growing family. Our family spent a lot of time playing pool & ping pong. We also enjoyed spending some time by the fireplace. We were appreciative of the space for our family for the holiday. Ohiopyle & Bittersweet Cafe is not too far away. Couple of our favorite places to go. We are looking forward to a future stay. :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Clinton’s cabin. It was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with anything one might need to enjoy the property, from games to appliances to firepit accessories. Clinton was very responsive and a wonderful host. Would highly recommend!

Our Christmas stay at 'The Cabin in the Woods' was absolutely magical! The cabin exceeded our expectations with its cozy ambiance, especially the delightful fireplace. Our host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making our experience even better. We enjoyed days filled with skiing, playijg boardgames and puzzles, we cooked a delicious lasagna in the well stocked kitchen, and spent countless moments of relaxation by the fire. We cherished our time away so much that we're now inspired to buy our own cabin in Champion! We highly recommend 'The Cabin in the Woods' for anyone looking for a perfect retreat."
