10/10 ✨️ amazing place, we had a very relaxed stay. The space was super clean. Couch and bed are super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was lovely to start the day with a short walk in the woods directly behind the accommodation. There's a bakery 4 min away by car, and grocery stores around a 10 min drive. Alexandra was really friendly.

We were at Susan's house for our sales/marketing offsite. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures and was sparkling clean, as well as incredibly well equipped. We were received super nicely and felt very comfortable. We would love to come back:)

A brilliant stop in this gorgeous fun house for a few days, as a family of 5 it’s not always easy to find accommodation that works but this was just right. Brilliant decor, comfy beds, fab shower, clean and well organised. It is within walking distance of Phantasialand which made it even more perfect. Hosts were super responsive and had great helpful local suggestions. Thanks for a fab stay x

Aggi and Lars' apartment was an excellent place for us to work in peace with a small group of 8 people and to take care of ourselves independently. The three bedrooms are fully and practically equipped and offer very good retreats from the living and dining area. The kitchen is very conveniently located and very well equipped. Aggi and Lars were very easy to reach during our stay and very helpful with small special requests. So, we felt very welcome. I am very happy to recommend their offer.

Especially the cozy fireplace made our honeymoon weekend perfect – romantic evenings by the crackling fire, exactly what we wanted. The location is unbeatable: quiet, idyllic and just a stone's throw from beautiful Lake Baldeney. Perfect for relaxing walks and unforgettable moments in nature. We are dealing here with an old house, but it is very idyllic and has been renovated over and over time. Nevertheless, it has retained the charm of an old “ mansion”. We were there as a family with -5- adults, an infant and a dog. Allen enjoyed it very much and everyone had their own “retreat” Due to the autumnal large weather situation, there was no possibility to use the large area.

The place itself looks like the pictures. It is very clean and easily accessible. The accommodation is located on the property of a yard, so people were always on the road in the nearby area. That didn't bother us. The view from the property goes to a farmed field - so there may be different views depending on the season. Overall, we felt very comfortable and found the time to be relaxing and relaxing.

Very cheap, and full of options. The host is just a good guy. Not the newest and fanciest stuff inside: the bed/couch could be newer and for instance the sauna is not high tech new stuff but it is very cosy and has lots of character. Good experience, would recommend and would do again.

The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We didn't have enough time this visit to take in all that Jule and Stefan's place had to offer, or all that Cologne had to offer. So we will be back! Simply put, we felt at home. The apartment is clean, full of interesting and thoughtfully placed items, comfortable, has everything you need, and has an intrinsic character that connects you to life in Nippes. If our time had allowed, we could have stayed for longer and felt perfectly at home as outsiders. Jule and Stefan were totally attentive and on top of questions, showed great flexibility and were some of the best hosts we've had on AirBnB.

I felt comfortable from second 1. ❤️ Also super recommended for dog owners, you are very rural and can go for a great walk. At the same time, you can still get to Cologne very quickly by car. Perfect location for activities. :)
