We love Diana's place. It's quite probably the best location in Katoomba - you can sit on the lounge room couch and see the valley in the distance, cross the road for a drink at Echoes or Lillianfels, and walk to the escarpment view within seconds. Plus, it's a comfy well-equipped house that delights no matter which age you are. Staying here has become a bit of a tradition for us, and we look forward to our next.

You can’t ever be disappointed with a stay at Allview Escapes . I came back ( after 18 years ) and fell more in love with this beautiful location and authentic accomodation. The owners love their property and it shows . The cottage was beyond cute and a sunrise morning cup of tea from the egg chair is an experience to be cherished !

A magical gem and 100% worth it. Two nights wasn't enough to enjoy this beautiful location. Toby and Helen are very thoughtful hosts. The attention to detail blew us away. It felt so luxurious yet still the camping vibe . We hope to be back again

The moment you step inside Kookawood you can see it's a labour of love. Hand built by the host and her husband and then lovingly curated (over what must have been years) both inside and out, to create an otherwordly escape that's equal parts French countryside, retro Australiana, whimsical bohemia and Vogue Living. Everywhere you look there's another beautiful item or another fabulous spot to curl up with a book or sit and soak in the view. It's difficult to pull off such maximalist decor well but this is just exquisite, somehow managing to be both super stylish and incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The outdoor bath, friendly fox, open fireplace and fabulous views from every window were particular highlights. Meanwhile the kitchen is amply stocked and the beds were super comfy. Tens across the board! On a practical note, we have a fairly low-slung sports sedan and we found it handled the driveway absolutely fine, provided you pay attention.

An oasis away from the Easter madness. Get your groceries in and you don’t need to head in to Katoomba over the busy period. We found it was really handy to go see some places early , like Echo point and Scenic world , both approx 8 minute drive. The house itself was so cosy to stay in for the day or evening. The goats are fun to feed. The bath was a real treat for us also. Definitely recommend . Thank you again

The three sisters lodge was absolutely stunning. The house was beautiful, it was extremely close to the magnificent three sisters and walks, and it was very warm and comfortable -especially the beds!. The house is well stocked with beautiful toiletries, lots of wood for the fire and plenty to cook with in the kitchen. We had a brilliant time and would love to come back and stay again one day. 2nd time staying always amazing beautiful and super relaxing

This place is so beautiful! We felt right at home the minute we stepped in. Its brand new, spotless and squeaky clean, high quality furniture and amenities. It has everything you need so no need to bring anything with you. What I loved about the place is the thoughtfulness that has gone into it to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Quality furniture, kitchen, bed, sheets, and pockets of luxury everywhere. Everything is set up with latest technology, heating was fast and effective. There is a trampoline for the kids! Cristina is so responsive and kind. Responded immediately to all communications. We will definitely be back again!

We were two families which included 4 kids, all under 10 years of age came for the long weekend, driving down from Sydney. I was initially doubtful if the hideout on the hill would be ideal for families with small kids. But it all changed when we drew up the hil...! What a stunning place! A rustic feel but amazingly cozy! Remote but close to everything! Alone but surrounded by a lot of animal life. We could listen to the cows and sheep from the next hill. Sitting outside every night was bliss, gazing at the stars…. spotting Venus, Mars, and Jupiter… The house itself was lovely, the fairy lights in each room made it feel special. The small bridge with a clear stream flowing beneath all adds up to the beauty. Driving past the orchard, the steep ascent on a rocky gravel path was fun. The kids loved the adventure, walking down to the bridge and sprawling the grasslands that surround them. I am sure, we will be back again in winter. Thanks, Janene for being such a wonderful host.
