A lovely, cozy cottage perfect for a couple’s getaway. Homey decor, very comfortable bed, decent water pressure and a wonderful little kitchen with pans and utensils needed for home cooked meals. We had a wonderful time feeling at home and comfortable here. The host is friendly and responsive and gave very easy and clear instructions for arrival and departure. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our time at the Peppermint Cottage. It was freezing cold and snowy when we got there and it made us feel instantly warm and cosy when we walked in and a fire was already going in that beautiful fireplace! It was a quiet and peaceful location, and we enjoyed a quiet nights rest. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!

Kevin's hideaway was the perfect spot for Thanksgiving and my mom's 90th birthday. The open floor plan encouraged lively chats while the turkey roasted, and the firewood made for memorable teen bonfires. My brother relaxed with the game on a cozy couch, and thoughtful touches like safety gates and a laundry room kept mom comfortable. On Black Friday morning, we said goodbye to our guests, then sat by the picture window with coffee, watching a snowy front roll in. As waterfowl glided across the waves, it felt like time stopped, and we realized this place was perfect for making memories.

Really cool spot, enjoyed the walk to the lake and the hot tub. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again

Stayed here for a few days while in the area for work. Luke was really great and responsive. The house was really clean and in a nice neighborhood close to the bay.

First time staying near Lake Ontario. The home was adorably cute/cozy! Even saw some deer in the neighborhood. Will definitely stay here again and definitely recommend!

The view of the lake from the back deck was amazing. The place itself was beautiful with the spiral staircases and very spacious. The place was so clean and tidy before checking in. The breweries and wineries in the area gave us so much to do and were so fun to do tastings at. Job always responded within a few minutes of messaging and gave clear instructions as well. We even got a complimentary late check out, which was very nice of them. Parking was a little tight in the front of the house, but Job mentioned that prior. All in all, we had a great time and the place was worth every penny!

A beautiful home in quiet neighborhood with amazing water views. Large, spacious rooms. Comfortable seating & dining areas both with walls of windows to enjoy the lake views. Short walk to local beach & close to town for shopping, restaurants, entertainment & park. House is just as described & host is quick to respond with answers to any questions. Excellent place to stay for vacation.

We had wonderful time on Gibbs Point! The house and location were just what we were needed. We loved being on the bay with Lake Ontario just a few hundred yards away. We spent a lot of time on water (having kayaks SUPs and a canoe available was amazing). Our teenage kids played ball and frisbee games in the lawn. We cooked delicious meals and ate on the deck. The house was so comfortable and clean.

The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The place was immaculate! We booked on short notice and arrived with everything taken care off. We were there in the “off season” must only get better “in season”.

This was a perfect place to stay! Everything was very clean and has enough room for a big group of people. The views are amazing & could not recommend enough!! Host are super responsive as well!

Jonathan's place was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and miscellaneous items. We visited in the winter, so we didn't get to experience much of the outside but it looks like it would be incredible in the summer. As a host, Jon was great and very accommodating to our needs. We really enjoyed our stay and are considering coming back.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. In fact my 11-year-old said it was the best sleep of his life away from home! It was the perfect space for our family of four. The kitchen is enormous and has everything you would need. The highlight is being right on the beach. Morning walks out on Irondequoit pier were private and peaceful. Kristin and Patrick were very kind and responsive when we had a few questions. I would definitely recommend this house for your next Rochester visit. I plan on returning!

Beautiful lake views! Pluses: This house is located on a hill across the street from Canandaigua Lake with a boathouse right on the water. 4 bedrooms, 21/2 baths. The house was clean and neat, and the host was always responsive. There is an indoor hot tub in a beautiful back room (though we didn’t get a chance to use it). The house is a pleasant short drive to downtown Canandaigua. Things to note: Unique layout due to the octagonal shape of the house. There is a circular staircase in the middle of the house, but the upper area can also be accessed from the back door at the top of the driveway. There are a lot of rules, but they were easy enough to follow. Security deposit is required, which I have found is not typically the case with Airbnb’s. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Had a lovely weekend at Amy's lake house. Brought my dad and toddler. There was lots to do - many games, books, etc. Great little restaurants, apple farms, and other things to do within 15 min drive. My son really liked visiting a large animal rescue farm (Cracker Box Palace). Enjoyed the scenery and the property was so peaceful. We rarely saw another person. It does get cold in the evenings so bring thick socks/slippers. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was super well equipped. We hope to return some day!

Pam helped to make my bachelorette weekend an incredible one! She was so responsive and helpful as we figured out which vineyards and restaurants we wanted to go to while visiting Seneca lake. She even made sure we were aware of the northern lights being visible the first night we were there. She truly went above and beyond for us. Her bunkhouse was perfect for our needs and so, so beautiful at sunrise! I couldn't recommend this place enough.

We had a wonderful stay hanging out near the rivers edge. We were provided with ample firewood and smores as a welcome gift :) very thoughtful. We look forward to coming back during summer to do some kayaking

Jason’s cozy bungalow had everything we were looking for in a quick weekend getaway from Rochester- quiet and peaceful setting with a view of Honeyoye Lake at the end of the street, a perfectly appointed kitchen, and all the little details we loved about the listing. I can imagine it’s even better in the summer! The home was spotless when we arrive so we could get right to relaxing. Definitely recommend .

We had a wonderful stay at Lucas's home on the lake. It was just what we were looking for and more. It was on a small quite peaceful road, with beautiful view of Seneca Lake, and was exactly what the listing stated it would be. We are a family of 5 and all three of our kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We will definitely be back!

Jody was extremely kind and very responsive! Her cottage was adorable and a perfect spot for a weekend with my boyfriend. It’s in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood with a lot of wineries & food options nearby. The lake view from her back patio was stunning! Would absolutely stay here again :)

We had a wonderful stay! The bed was super comfortable, which made for great nights of sleep, and the showers had excellent water pressure—always a plus. The view of the lake from the property was beautiful. We also really appreciated that the place was dog-friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

When we arrived at the cottage, we felt right at home, I think even our dog felt the same way. Everything was so clean with no clutter. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Wish the weather was a bit warmer to enjoy the porch, but the wall of windows helped a lot to be able to view the lake and all the sunrises. I can't say enough for Jennifer. She even texted us to have a safe trip there and was always available to answer any questions we had. She is amazing. Would love to plan another stay at her cottage, and maybe we will be able to soon. Thank you, again, for sharing your cottage with us.

Great rental with lots to do in the nearby area. Kid friendly. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back.
