The pictures do not do this place justice. Pictures are very modest but just the stained glass alone needs to be highlighted a little more in my opinion. It was BEAUTIFUL! The bathroom and tub were their own star too! As a lover of everything spooky, this place was such a perfect place to just marvel at its beauty. I came to spend a lowkey New Year’s eve and day with my toddler and she loved it just as much as me! I really enjoyed tried to keep a fire going inside and reading the books and playing the games. It’s like I could never go bored! I wish I could’ve stayed longer!! This place definitely makes memories

The dogs and I had a great stay here. Clean and comfortable. A nice location. Having the big fenced in backyard was a real plus. And it is great to be near the walking trail. Perfect say.

We spent a long weekend on the frozen river in Karen’s wonderful cottage. TJ loved sitting in his “river bed” and staring at the ice and ducks go by. There were so many personal touches that made the stay extraordinary, from the fully stocked kitchen and breakfast treats, to the basket of dog toys for TJ. We needed a service call placed, and it was taken care of within an hour. Thank you so much!

Emily was the perfect host for our stay. My daughters LOVED that she left huge bowls of snacks on the counter, giving us something to munch on before heading to the grocery store. She communicated wonderfully when I had a question. Very thoughtful touches throughout, including toiletries. I will definitely stay at her home again!

The is beautiful well kept and right on the river. We were in to visit our son at Bucknell University. The house was so close to campus. We hope to return again soon.

We had a wonderful time at the Lodge was a great place for our family to meet up for Thanksgiving! The pool, hot tub and games kept us all entertained! We definitely would stay again if the occasion arises!

Had a great stay at the cabin and Nate was very responsive and even offered us late check out free of charge would visit again.

Very clean and comfortable and spacious. We did use the space heater because it was a bit chilly but it worked great heating up the entire apartment. Stairs are steep but sturdy. We had asked for an early check in and it was no problem! We didn’t make it to the store below but it looked neat from the outside! All in all a great stay.

We had a really great time at Nate’s place. The house was beautiful, spacious, and very cozy. It came equipped with everything we could’ve needed durning our stay. We went to visit the farm next door and the owner was very friendly and accommodating and gave us a full tour of the place. It was an incredible experience for us city people. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

We booked a last minute cabin while on a hiking weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! We checked in pretty late, but were greeted and given the walk through. The bathrooms were clean, the cabin well air conditioned, and the bed was much much better than our sleeping bags, especially on the rainy weekend. It was a beautiful place, and we'd love to be back.

We stayed here while visiting family over Thanksgiving. The place was clean and kitchen was well stocked to do some Thanksgiving meal prep. Linda was very responsive and accommodating.

This was our second time staying in this house. It’s the perfect home away from home. Clean house, quiet neighborhood, and a fenced in yard for the dog. The back deck and light are a nice upgrade from last year. I highly recommend!

My group of 19 stayed at David’s beautiful house this past week and we had the most amazing time. The house was just like it was described and more. The main house had a spacious, beautiful and comfortable feeling right as you stepped inside. The garage was absolutely incredible and definitely a great thing to have with such a big group like mine. Unfortunately during our stay we did deal with a tiny problem that could have happened to anyone. David is such a great host, replied very quickly and even talked to him one on one to help us. He sent the help we needed right away with no hesitations at all. I would highly recommend this house to everyone. Thank you again for an amazing stay!!

The tiny house is spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. I would have liked to stay a lot longer. We never met the host, but she was so nice and welcoming in her messages - we felt she was nearby if we needed her. The house is set on top of a hill surrounded by a hayfield on two sides and a creek which was rushing. We loved the sound. The yard was a safe place to let our dog run which was an added benefit. He loved it!

Great location and well maintained

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It had what we needed for a weekend away! It was great to be able to bring my Golden Retriever! Host was available and easy to contact!

We originally booked the Airbnb listing in Milmont, but were transferred to the Rough Cut Lodge-Hemlock cabin because a pipe burst at the Milmont property. Michelle promptly communicated everything, and even jumped on the phone with me to make sure it was ok. I was flexible, and this ended up being such a nice change of location. Gorgeous property, beautiful interior furnishings, and so much hiking in the area! I’m appreciative of Michelle’s prompt adjustment to our stay, and we’re actually thinking of coming back to RCL soon for stargazing in the summer (it’s a renowned area for stargazing and clear skies!) Favorite part was the little back porch with the creek running by! Highly recommend Hemlock as a cabin for a family trip (and an insider tip, RCL has a website… hint hint!).

Cindy was an amazing host. She sent me a message stating she left a lamp on inside the apartment as well as the outside lights, so If we arrived after it got dark we would be ok and safe walking around the apartment. This was the perfect place for my family of 6 and 2 dogs to stay while we visited family for the holidays! Thank you Cindy !!

My family and I REALLY enjoyed this place, it felt like home. We celebrated my dad's birthday and he was really happy with the house and surroundings since is very quiet and peaceful. Penny was very helpful with any questions that we had and flexible with the checkout time. We will definitely recommend the place!
