Snowy Valleys iconic stay- Moonshine Cottage

AlisonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great few days at Moonshine Cottage. Loved the distillery tour, loved finding out about behind the scenes, thoroughly enjoyed the tasting and bought some gin! The cottage was very homely and great to be able to walk into town. The bikes from Ride Tumba were fab and enjoyed the Rail Trail to Rosewood. Would definitely come back if ever in Australia again!

Mel's house was fantastic. A superb location, easy drive into town, soery peaceful. The house has everything we needed with a really well stocked pantry. Outdoors was fabulous with the spa, firepit and sauna all great fun. The spa, in particular, was great after a long day hiking. We'd highly recommend staying at this place when in the area

We had a great stay at windy fig farm, Glenn, Kerrie and Hayley were very welcoming from the minute we arrived and let our daughter feed the sheep and neighbours horses. The place was a great home away from home from its lovely views and everything you need during your stay (and more!).

Lampe House

KymRating, 5 stars19 months ago
Sabinas home was perfect, we had 4 adults, 1 child and a pup. The yard is 90% secure, we left our pup in a crate when we went to the snow and at night, just to have that piece of mind. The home is perfectly located, within walking distance to the local shop, but also far enough that there is hardly any traffic. The home is great, rooms are spacious, the common areas are all tiled, it is a great place to stay. From here to Selwyn is probably about 45mins or so, of beautiful scenery. A wonderful place to stay, and a really helpful host.

Lola Cottage

NimrodRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a family holiday in Adaminaby and we had a great time over the 8 days. We got to bring our dog which was great. The house was stocked and had everything ready for us. The garden is incredible, probably the best part of the place. A couple small issues we had were with opening the windows when it was hot (we didn’t find an aircon) because mozzies and flies just swarmed in as there are no fly nets. Also the door handles are rustic and a bit clunky so when someone goes to the toilet at night they may wake up others. Besides that, everything was brilliant, ideal for winter. Would definitely recommend!

Native Valley Cottage 2 bedrooms Pet friendly.

CarolynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Loved this place!! Highlights were the views, the privacy, the lovely extras (bed linen, cakes and breakfast, jams and chutneys) and the fantastic meal!! Sally is one good cook. It’s a great choice to select from her menu and then eat in. It’s a long way to local restaurants and pubs, so why not stay home and soak in a delightful, country ambiance!! Thanks Sally. I appreciated all your efforts.

Bimblegumbie Little House Chalet Pet friendly

AlexiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My partner, dog and myself had a great time staying at Bimblegumbie. Beautiful little cottage amongst others but with plenty of privacy. Sculptures, installations and gardens galore. A small oasis for creatives enjoying something more unique than the average place out there. Very welcoming as were all the doggos with mine. She felt she’d found her pack and was super reluctant to get into the car when it was time to go.
A garden shed with a green corrugated exterior is partially visible under a lush tree. A large cover drapes over an unseen object in front of the shed. The entrance is framed by a window that opens to the outdoors.

Banjo Cottage

RyanRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Super nice views of the lake, only 7-8 mins into the nearest town and close to Selwyn snowfields (which is why I chose to stay here). Careful driving in/out early/late at night, LOTS of animals on the roads (cool for my passengers!). Was provided a free loaf of super nice sourdough bread upon arrival (which I enjoyed!) The house was warm, and the host offered to restock the wood fire each day (it was winter) and it was lovely coming back to a super warm/toasty place. Beds were comfortable, although one of the 'rooms' is just a corner with a curtain so not super private but for a family it's fine. Host was super responsive and helpful. No wifi, which is described in the listing - but I had 0 Vodafone reception (Telstra was OK) so if this is important to you you should consider this. This did give my kids a chance to experience using a DVD player for the first time in their life! haha (great choice of movies). Would stay here again.

Snowy Mountains - Cottage on Acres - Dog Friendly

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I say! What a delightful house of generous proportions, and gorgeous views. Advised to see a sunrise over the hills from the bedroom window, we left the blinds open as we are certainly NOT early risers and NOT while on holiday! Luckily I was woken at sunrise and was not disappointed: low cloud cover under the hill line and splendid warm light slashing over me. Thanks for that! So great to have the dogs allowed. And they loved the dam more than the boys!! Luckily we followed the hosts’ instructions as it’s out of the way (of google maps!) as they said, and that lent heavily to the privacy and serenity. The stocked kitchen was great, real coffee, and other bibs and bobs made it an easier getaway to enjoy. Thanks Kristy and fam. Appreciated and loved. From our two fams.

Fantastic cosy cottage. We are a family of 6 - all adult sized. It accommodated us all well. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated with all modern conveniences- including under floor heating in the bathroom. The kitchen / dining / lounge room was a little tight at meal times, but could be easily managed. Michael and Diane are great hosts. Excellent communication with genuine care that you enjoy your trip. Thanks for a great trip.
