Take a long morning walk with the dog or cycle along the nature reserve that’s through your garden gate, or take the short 20 minute drive to the seaside town of Aberystwyth to enjoy the shops, restaurants and cafes. Shop and pub in the village, and although the hut is set on a working farm, there’s plenty of peace and quiet and privacy at our cozy hut.

My husband and I arranged a last minute getaway to Charlotte’s place and what a find it was. The descriptions fully matched the listing - the only thing she didn’t state was how beautiful and idyllic it is - a very rare find! Charlotte and Mito were so welcoming, and it was lovely to meet Simon and Willow, their two black labradors. All we can say is, if you’re unsure whether to book - don’t be - you will not be disappointed. We definitely aim to return! Thank you Charlotte x

This is a stunning shepherds hut which contains everything you need for a break away. The underfloor heating is fantastic and makes it super warm and cosy. You can walk to the aqueduct in a few minutes to enjoy the wonderful views and there are two pubs in walking distance as well! I would very happily recommend this stay!

We have just returned from our minimoon after our wedding on Friday. Our stay exceeded our expectations! Bryn's communication was exceptional. He was flexible with our plans changing to include our fur baby, answered messages quickly and with accurate map Pins to make places easy to find. His recommendations were great, the nearby pub 'The Ravon' - delicious food, attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. The nearby indian, wow the best we've had and the 'Bay Tree Cafe' what a gem! Bryn was friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to make our stay special with newly wed bunting, a bottle of bubbles and some homemade produce which was super tasty. Everything from the property itself, to the log burner, views and hot tub made our stay one we will never forget. It was a really special time as we enjoyed our new bubble as husband and wife! We will definitely return, Bryn has a special set-up here and his personable approach makes it. We will be regualars how. The Listers x

The place where you live out your dreams!!! Sitting watching the stars glisten from the hot tub listening to the night sounds. Watching the sun set with a roaring fire and waking up to most amazing views and spending time with the cutest animals! Honestly can’t fault it/ slept like a log on both nights and really didn’t want to leave. The personal touches were absolutely amazing too with the little treats really appreciated xxx

Beautiful little hut. So peaceful and cozy you'll forget all your stresses and worries. It was very clean, had all it needed to have, in the middle of all our interest points. Although we haven't met Aly in person, she was checking in on us, was really responsive and so so lovely. We will be back, definitely! P. S. Doggy loved it too, though she was a little too big for the little doggie hole!

The most amazing few days in Wales. The shepherds hut was the most relaxing, cosy place to stay with all the amenities you could need. Having a roll top bath every night followed by a cosy fire was blissful. We climbed Snowdon and this was a mere 10 minute drive to do so. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. I already want to come back.

Rachael and Mikes Shepherds Hut was exactly as described with no hassle. Very cosy with everything you need for a few nights stay. A peaceful getaway enjoyed alongside the sound of the birds in the morning as well as the sheep who roam in the fields nearby. Feeding the Alpacas was a highlight and they were both extremely friendly, eating the food from our hands before we had the chance to say hello! If you are looking for somewhere nice to stay whilst exploring Wales then this is a great place to choose, I would stay again and recommend.
