Vacation rentals in Slick Rock Falls

Stayed here with my husband while he was home from the military for the holidays. It was perfect. We walked in and noticed how well decorated and clean everything was. Kim left a hand-written letter and some goodies for us to enjoy. Nice big TV in the den and spacey master bedroom with lots of closet room. The porch was cozy and had a beautiful view of the sunset. Me and my husband who spend lots of time away, in hotels, rentals, felt right at home, and that was priceless.

Had a great stay, everything I needed. Will stay there again, Harry is a great host.

Driving up the road to the place was a little different especially at night. But we did get used to it. The nest was beautifully appointed with great decorations that made you feel like you were in a cabin. The place was outstanding, one of the better hosts that I’ve ever had interaction with. A few things that I would add to the property but all in all everything that you really need. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty as I was trying to do some work. Great location in Maggie Valley so close to so many things. If you definitely want to be up in the mountains with outstanding views, this is the place for you. The newly added outdoor fireplace was great to have.

Beautiful cabin and great location. Our family enjoyed our stay and the cabin had everything we needed. We were delighted to find a lovely Christmas tree in the living room. Nice back porch with mountain views. Comfortable beds. We were able to easily travel to many activities and day trips - Asheville, Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountain National Park, Downtown Waynesville, and just a short drive down the mountain to visit Winchester Creek Farm. We hope to be back!

Marisa’s house is a beautiful cabin that was worth every penny. It is convenient to Brevard and the Pisgah Forest for the fishing and outdoor enthusiast. Marisa was very accommodating to my group and was prompt to responding to messages. The house was clean and lacked no amenities. The kitchen was well furnished with pots, pans, etc. and linens were plentiful. I would recommend Marisa’s place for anyone hoping to get away and stay in a beautiful part of North Carolina.

Beautiful little house and extremely convenient to Asheville / I-26, worked perfectly as a home base while we were in town for an music festival in the city. The house itself is very new and neat as a pin, quite comfortable for our weekend stay and surrounded by rolling hills of old farmland. We were greeted each morning by deer in the front yard, and enjoyed stargazing under the sycamores every clear evening. One thing to note: although the property itself feels rural, it is very close to a truck stop and the highway, so it's not always peaceful outside; we didn't really mind but something to note for guests who prefer seclusion and solitude. Inside, however, is cozy and well-appointed, with comfy linens and lots of windows to take in the views. We loved the dormer window with views of the nearby mountains that looked like a painting! Would definitely stay here again, especially with the easy 20ish minute drive to Asheville.

the place was very nice and views were great! we enjoyed the stay. there were a lot of ladybugs and it was difficult to get there when the roads were icy. the home was very enjoyable and we would stay again. we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen as well!

Wow, where do I even begin? This Airbnb felt like it was straight out of an HGTV dream home—our group absolutely LOVED every minute of our stay! The decor is breathtaking, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a cozy yet luxurious vibe. It’s clear that this is a brand-new construction, and the quality truly shines through. The amenities were top-notch, offering everything we needed (and more) for a comfortable, stress-free stay. From the fully equipped kitchen to the plush bedding, every corner of the home was spotless and beautifully maintained. To top it all off, the hosts were incredibly responsive, friendly, and accommodating. They managed to host us at the last minute without any hiccups, and their quick communication made the entire process seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’re already planning our next trip back. Highly, highly recommend—this place is a gem!
