Sitting on top of the locally popular Ester Dome, this unique cabin overlooks all of Fairbanks and the surrounding areas. Just 11 miles to the airport, there is amazing hiking/biking trails nearby. WARNING: This cabin is OFF-GRID and DRY. If you dont know what that means, dont fear, I will explain! Aurora Outpost is located on a private 100 acre homestead just 7 minutes from Fairbanks and 5 minutes from Fox, AK. There is NO electricity, lighting is provided by warm lanterns. There is NO plumbing, but there is a small water system and outhouse. I am also available 24/7 to answer any questions about the features of the cabin or to help guests enjoy the cabin to its fullest!

No running water, but the cabin is stocked with 5 gallon water bottles filled at Fox Springs. Full kitchen, comfy beds, super fast internet, television ready for streaming, books to curl up and read, close to shopping, restaurants , amenities of the city, while tucked into wooded private lot.
