Beautiful home. I cannot describe how pretty it looks with the natural frozen lake surroundings, you really have to see it for yourself. Everything was spotless, great location close to Walmart, Bulk Barn, Pet Store and even some Tesla superchargers if you're coming in an EV. The outdoor jacuzzi was a wonderful addition. Kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances and things you'll need (and more)! Neighbourhood is very quiet and the surrounding residences are filled with friendly folks. Only thing to make a note of is the fire pit is not accessible during the winter due to the massive amounts of snow near and on it. All in all, 10/10 would highly recommend and would love to return.

Nicole very friendly and responsive at any hour. There was no exaggerations with the size of the cottage we got exactly what we expected. We visited in the winter time so the area offered less places to eat or see. The area is beautiful while covered in snow and I can only imagine visiting in the summer! The breakfast nook was probably our favorite part about the cottage!

The cottage was lovely! We had no trouble using the kitchen, grill and firepit. We had a beautiful view of the lake, access to kayaks and a canoe, and really clean rooms and washroom. Definitely exceeded our expectations!

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

Had a great time at cottage. Great Location on a nice calm Lake. Very easy check-in. Staff very friendly. Very Clean and nice kitchen and BBQ. Would definitely recommend staying here. The Dome and other huts on property would be fun to stay at as well. Have already recommended this property and will probably be back.

This was our second visit to James & Marisol's cottage and we loved our stay just as much this time around. The location, the scenery and being on the lake... absolutely breathtaking. If you ever want a nice getaway, look no further because this is a hidden gem. The interior is gorgeous with a nice rustic vibe & ideal for relaxation. Sitting on the beautiful Brandy Lake, it was perfect for us to do some canoeing & kayaking. Most of all, hanging around by the dock in the sun was our favorite part. We highly recommend this brilliantly hosted cottage to everyone looking to have a wonderful time in beautiful Muskoka!

If you are looking for a beautiful, tranquil setting this is your place. The home was as described, clean and very well stocked. The outdoor area, fire pit and location are one of a kind. In October the fall colours were beautiful, would highly recommend James’ place for a peaceful getaway.

My family and I had a wonderful winter stay at Watersedge Lakehouse. The cottage was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Our host made sure we had all we needed and was very helpful with instructions on staying at the cottage , checking in and local recommendations. The main living room was a perfect place to gather and have a warm fire while looking out at the water. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor fire plus the deer wandering about. It was a great place for relaxing and making memories.

We had a great relaxing time in the beautiful treeed setting sitting in the hot tub and all around the house and property, it had everything you needed and was very close to Town and the hwy 400, we would definitely go back, and so much room if there were more couples or we had our kids

Daniel gave a thorough intro message of specifics the day of on top of what was already so clearly laid out. The property was beautiful with access to so many activity options. House is clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the dock which had a great selection of furniture and sun/shade options. The beach is a close walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will likely be back to enjoy the space again!

Just stayed here for the 2nd time for a relaxing weekend getaway and that’s for sure what we got! Jason was prompt and responsive. His cottage is always clean and lots of room. The views and area are beautiful, nice and close to town but yet feel so far away! Would recommend staying here to anyone. Will be returning again! Thanks again Jason!

Well, we loved the place. The cottage looks much better than it is in the pictures. We enjoyed inside, surrounding and fire pit. Anthony was very responsive and he let us stayed 1:30 hours extra on the checkout day which was extremely nice. Hoping to visit again in the summer 2025.

We enjoyed a quiet, relaxing stay. The setting is lovely, with a private beach, kayaks etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to cook a meal.

Kerry's place was fantastic! One important thing to note is that guests need to provide their own linens, pillows, towels, and toilet paper/paper towels. This information is found in the "About the Space" section, but it’s crucial for guests to know, especially since we arrived at night when it was quite cold and hadn’t brought any supplies. I recommend that this information be included in the welcome message when a guest books the property to avoid similar situations. On the day we arrived, the heater stopped working, but Kerry was quick to assist us and sent an electrician to address the issue. Fortunately, there is a chimney in the cottage, and once we lit it, the space became warm and cozy. As first-time cottage visitors, it truly felt like an adventure. The place is magical, and Kerry is an outstanding host. Thank you for everything!

I had an incredible stay at Jonathan’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was smooth, the space was spotless, and Jonathan was an excellent host. He was communicative, friendly, and provided great local recommendations that made our trip even better. The place itself was exactly as described. The property was very beautiful and clean. Bryan is good host. He was very responsive. The surroundings and amenities were good. We did bonfire and all the required materials were present. We liked the barbeque setup. In winter, the property is magically beautiful. We will plan to come again in the summer and fall.
