Lovely little cabin in a perfect spot to explore the golden circle. Despite the somewhat remote location it was super easy to find, thanks to the hosts’ great communication. And being welcomed by a warm hot-tub after a day out in the cold was just perfect.

The airbnb was just what we needed after a long day exploring Iceland. it was peaceful and quiet and had all we needed to unwind and get ready for bed (and cook a meal or 2). There was 3 of us and one took the sofa bed. We didn't get lucky with the northern lights but maybe next time!

Loved staying here in the winter. Very dark and remote surroundings so it’s easy to see the stars and aurora. Hot tub is very nice as well as the heated floors. Would love to stay again

The accommodation is extremely well located for sailing to all activities in the Golden Circle Communication was very simple and easy with the host When we arrived, the jaccuzi was trendy and hot, it was very nice As a bonus, we were able to attend the wonderful Aurora Ball! Everything is as described, clean and comfortable to live in. Perfect bedding too Thank you for the welcome, we recommend this place without hesitation

The home was comfortable and had lots of space. The kitchen had everything we needed to do our own cooking. The view from the house and from the decks overlooked farmland and mountains in the distance. Gudfinna was friendly and welcoming. She surprised us on our last morning with homemade waffles and jam. A great place to stay. Also the hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking.

Wow, what an incredible week. We were 6 adults and a 2 year old and used the villa as a hub for our road trip along the south coast. The place offered everything and more. Evenings were spent cooking and relaxing in the outside spa area followed by family games in the comfortable living area. I can’t fault it at all. Benji the big dog Teddy was a huge hit with my daughter! The host was extreme helpful throughout and we will definitely be coming back!

We had the most incredible stay and we could not recommend this place highly enough! It is the perfect size, has everything you need and breathtaking views, night and day, right on your doorstep! It was the best place we stayed in Iceland and very much worth the money. We even got the chance to see the northern lights on our first night there! Thank you for having us, we will definitely be back!

The villa was beautiful and very clean! Lots of extra towels and toiletries available, tea and coffee, fridge with water filter, and tons of plates and bowls to use. The washer and dryer was a great plus and helped me and my family pack light. Beautiful home and would 10/10 recommend :)

Our family of 4 stayed a night here. The cabin itself is very private though easy to find using Google Maps. Once inside, there are splendid views from the living room. We got to cook a simple dinner in the small kitchenette and slept very well on the comfortble beds. We were also lucky to be shown the horses and had a good chat with the host. Would stay again!
