We love Bjarni's house - it's wonderfully cozy and that's how we felt at home from the first minute. Hot pot and sauna were particularly great (which Bjarni had kindly prepared for us to warm up after whale watching). We will remember the conversations and connections with Bjarni and other nice guests. Great place - we would have liked to have stayed longer!

This place is nothing short of magical! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful private getaway! Daniel and Stefan were both incredible hosts, kind, responsive, so helpful! Getting here during the snowy winter is definitely not for the faint of heart, but if you can make it, I promise it's worth it! I can't wait to come back in the summer! The surroundings were breathtaking, the cabin was so clean, fully stocked with anything we could need, the sauna and hot tubs were 10/10, and we saw the northern lights on the one clear night we had! Everyone should get to experience this place at least once!

Stunning views! This place was the perfect stay while we were in Iceland. The home is equipped with everything you need to feel like home. We hope to be back someday!

Stayed here for 4 nights. 20 mins from Akureyri. Closer to Dalvík for groceries and drinks. Saw the northern lights night 1! All you really need for 2 people. Definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive car if you plan on staying here. Hot tub was lovely and really warm! Would recommend and stay here again.

The place was wonderful and as described. The family also pointed out the best spot to set up to see the northern lights, and we were able to catch them due to this advice!

I've been traveling to Iceland for 7 days, and it was the best in all of the accommodations I've used. I would love to visit Iceland again as a memory of staying here. The host was friendly and always responded quickly to inquiries. As soon as we arrived, our lovely dog came out to meet us and loved it as an animal lover. I've never seen it before, but there's a lot of flirtation. He seemed to like to run around together. The interior was really neat and had everything I needed, so I didn't have much to prepare. And it's the most inspiring detail, and when I opened the refrigerator, there was a bottle of fresh milk squeezed by the host. (It's really fresh and delicious.) I arrived around the evening and the sun went down quickly, but if I could afford it, it would be nice to come a little early and take a walk around. I asked the host early the next morning, so I was able to see the farm that I operated myself. As I accompanied myself, I was able to listen to detailed and friendly explanations while watching cows, horses, chickens, dogs, and cats.

We had a pleasant stay, and we felt right at home, with everything we needed. The space is spacious and clean, and the decor shows Icelandic life. The area is very beautiful and we were able to discover it easily. A little more, the large floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to observe the northern lights in the warmth.

We enjoyed our stay at your house, particularly the heated floors (ahhhhh, so nice!) and our horse ride. Thank you!

Loved it! Stayed two nights and wish we had longer to explore this beautiful area. Beds were comfy and we were able to use the laundry machines to wash our clothes - much appreciated!

Everything was great! We wish we could spend more time in the house :) The host arranged a hair dryer even though it was raining - I felt bad because she had to walk down for us. Thank you so much!!

We enjoyed staying a night here and we were warmly greeted by the sweet border collie pup! The view from the house was beautiful with all the snow everywhere. We felt comfortable and right at home.

The cottage was small and quaint, but it was all my wife and I needed for one night! I don’t think I’d stay here for longer than one night. It is TINY inside, to the point we didn’t even bother taking our luggage inside. If I was in the area and needed a place to rest my head for the night, I’d stay again.

Very spacious and well equipped AirBnB at a beautiful location. The host responds quickly and it was easy to agree on a check in time. This AirBnB is a couple of hundred metres away from the main road, which really gives you a feeling of "remoteness" and being in nature. Note that the nearest grocery store is at a 30 minute drive, so we preferred to do groceries before checking in. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

The place was very cozy and warm. In the kitchen there was everything you need. The view and tranquility are unique.
