Peter and Jeannette's cottage is simply a little gem – lovingly decorated, super well maintained and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break. You can tell right away how much passion they put in here. Peter and Jeannette are very special hosts – so warm, attentive and helpful. We felt welcome from the first moment. When we needed help freezing Mailo's food, it wasn't an issue for them at all – just great! The beaches of Petten and Callantsoog are only about 10 minutes by car and perfect for long walks – especially with dog. The lighthouse with the cozy restaurant in Huisduinen (about 30 minutes away) was also a real highlight. We had a wonderful time all around and are just grateful to have been able to spend our vacation with such lovely people. From the heart 5 stars – we will definitely be back!🤗.

I really enjoyed 3 days in Balk with the very friendly Judith and Jeroen. Beautiful homestay, super clean and tidy. Beautiful area within walking distance of Slotermeer. Beautiful garden with various seating areas where you can relax and read breakfast. The surroundings are also beautiful, in my opinion the most beautiful part of Friesland. I would 100% recommend this homestay and I will definitely return here. Thank you very much for everything!

The stay is worth the price. However, it is worth having your own basic equipment of kitchen ingredients with you, if you want to cook as wonderfully with the wonderful view from the kitchen to the sea;-). (You will have to buy everything - salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices, etc.) But the jumbo in the village is a great shop (7 min. in the car) and the essentials would also be available in the campsite shop. 4 minutes by car/10-15 min. by foot) However, the towels for the bathroom are offered and included. You don't need to bring anything. Look forward to unforgettable days at sea!

Great cottage with stunning views over the water. Very well located, very helpful hosts, nice area. Especially for those who love to swim in open water. Recommend!

Great Host!

We enjoyed very much. It's a beautiful, decent mobile home. Nice with the air conditioning. Plenty of space all around in the garden and the shed. Friendly neighbors, child-friendly campsite with playground and swimming pool.

What a wonderful apartment! Right in the center of Alkmaar, so everything is within walking distance . The apartment itself has all the comforts. Lovely sofa, beautiful kitchen and good bed. Really nothing to criticize and definitely recommended if you want to relax and enjoy everything Alkmaar has to offer. Especially around the holidays, with all the beautiful Christmas decorations, a pleasure to watch the life of the city pass you by.

We were quickly welcomed by the family and felt welcome. The tents are a small shell path away from the parking lot, but a small wagon helps carry so the path doesn't get too long. The tent is well-equipped and everything worked well. The rain at night gave everything a sense of cozy security. It was great ! Note: We were there for 3 days with two semi-strong puberty boys who may have been a little too old for the offers. For families with younger children (Max 10J), the offer is varied and good.

Beautiful place to slow down in the Stylish old farmhouse. All around beautiful. We felt right at home. Beds already made, coffee powder, shampoo... all there. We would like to come again . Thanks to Eve and Maarten
