Very close to the Sainte Croix lake, Le Chardon is located in the small village of Baudinard sur Verdon, 5 minutes from the lake. The flat is very comfortable for 1 to 6 people with 160cm beds. It offers a fantastic view over the valley, much appreciated by all our guests. WiFi is available free of charge. There are two tennis courts and a children's park 3 minutes away. We had a fantastic time with two families in this beautiful house! It is decorated with great taste, from the stylish interior to the well-equipped kitchen and the comfortable bedding. The house was very clean, although we did encounter a cobweb here and there, what you can expect in an atmospheric, old renovated bergerie. The location is top: a bakery and supermarket are nearby, but to explore the beautiful surrounding villages, a car is convenient. We would come back here in a heartbeat!

An ideal apartment for a nice family holiday, quiet in a very beautiful village. The accommodation is extremely well equipped for a vacation rental. On top of that, very well insulated which is not insignificant during the great summer heat! The shared swimming pool is, of course, very nice for cooling off. Christine and Alain gave us some great tips for a vacation with a toddler. Great value for money that we highly recommend!

We had a lovely family stay at Laetitia's cottage. The hosts are very accommodating and welcoming. The house is large and well equipped for a long weekend or vacation. The outside is quiet and pleasant. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy it given the temperatures of this month of April but the pool area looks perfect and well secured for children. A big thank you to Laetitia and Jérôme for hosting us, we'll be happy to come back.

A great small house within easy walk to the historic Centre in Saint Remy. Appreciated having a toilet both upstairs and downstairs. The stairs are steep, which was a challenge for my older mother. Very good communication regarding any query and we were able to check in early, which we appreciated as we were traveling on public transport. The outside courtyard was a nice spot for an afternoon drink.

We loved staying here. The scenery is amazing. We learned that if we wanted to Uber around town you have to request an Uber priority. They’re the only ones who won’t cancel. It was so picturesque and a short drive to a beautiful vineyard nearby. It had plenty of room for the whole family of 5. Plus, they were very gracious hosts.

Had a great long Easter weekend break at Hevre’s place outside Aix. Communication was good all throughout and it was nice of the hosts to meet us to assist with arrival and parking. Probably even easier just to park in the designated spot and carry your stuff the short distance to the home, but squeezing through the hamlet was easy enough too. The house was spotless and all as advertised. We always appreciate finding tableware and pots perfectly clean - thank you! Furniture was comfortable, the bathroom spacious, with shelves for storage, and the views from the upper terrace and poolside were great. Cezanne’s favorite mountain beckons! It was about 15 minute drive total from the house to the bigger garages in Aix, and an easy ride. Great base to explore around the region too. Some perfect French country roads if you just head away from town from their house. Nice place. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely family stay with our two kids. The accommodation is large, comfortable and the view of the vegetation is beautiful, the neighborhood is very quiet and the stay was very soothing. The kitchen is very well equipped, the plancha and the terrace a real plus! Francoise was very welcoming and flexible on our arrival and departure times, she put the pool back into service so that we could enjoy it. Nearby, we enjoyed delicious pizzas at Pizza Cosy recommended by Françoise. The center of Aix is very close, 10 minutes by bus 22 (which passes once approximately). We recommend this listing without hesitation and will gladly go back.
