Cottage vacation rentals in Silver Lake, Castile

The cottage was clean, comfortable and cozy. Everything was there that we needed! The views of the lake were spectacular and the access was perfect! We were able to take out kayaks and enjoy the water. Enjoyed the fire pit and area outdoors. The deck was perfect to watch the sunset and have coffee in the morning! Nancy was a great host and we look forward to returning next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Anthony’s cottage on Silver Lake! Anthony was a great host who was thoughtful in providing a comfortable and hospitable retreat for our family of five adults to gather. His cottage was spacious, warm, and welcoming. The beds were so comfy and the whole house was perfectly clean. We appreciated having a laundry room upstairs, easily accessible to the bedrooms. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely want to stay here again!! Thank you for a great visit!!

Was a beautiful place. Quite had plenty of good fire wood and very clean place. Neighbors were great enclosed front porch was great to eat and be able to look at lake. Nice air conditioning though out home. Will definitely visit again. Steve was a wonderful host. 5 stars I.n my book

We had a wonderful stay yet again (our 2nd year in a row) at this beautiful lakefront property. Rachael and Nancy are great hosts (Nancy was our contact) and are very responsive and attentive to any concerns/communications regarding your stay or the property in general. This property has probably the best views on the entire lake, and the cabin has plenty of amenities while also possessing a delightful rustic charm. The provided free-standing water cooler isn't very common for a lakefront rental, but it's a much-appreciated feature since the water on any Rushford Lake property isn't potable so having a free-standing cooler saves on the cost and hassle (and waste) of having to use lots of plastic bottles. Only caution I would note is the extended driveway approaching the property can be a bit uneven at times so I would not recommended for cars with a low-riding undercarriage (i.e., leave the sports cars at home). Strongly recommend this property and hosts!

House was as advertised. Had use of the owners Kayak for a small fee (which the owner kindly waived). Views from the house are outstanding. Very good fishing in the lake - caught dozens of fish off the dock. Reasonably close to Niagara Falls, East Aurora, Keuka Lake for day trips. Very close to a Letchworth and a local Cidery in Castile - which were both fantastic. Very reasonably priced for a lakefront property in the Finger Lake Region. Our family had a wonderful stay - would definitely recommend.

Clean cozy place right on the lake! Row boat (and life jackets) kept my kids happy!

Host is very responsive and in tune with guests needs. Very flexible. We felt right at home. It's our 3rd time staying and will go back soon. Plenty of space to lounge, read or watch TV. Even in winter, it's a cozy place to stay at with very relaxing views. Kitchen is well stocked and ready to use. We all had a great time! Thanks so much Anthony!

Jason cottage on the lake was a wonderful weekend getaway for us. The views of the lake from the sunrise to sunset were amazing. The dock was nice for us to get in the lake with our kayaks and to just sit on the dock. The cottage was roomy and didn't feel cluttered. We had a great time

We celebrated my best friends Bachelorette here and the place was just perfect! It was so peaceful and had the best amenities! I will definitely book here again!

The Lake House was a beautiful old house with a spectacular view. Check in instructions were clear and check in was easy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Bedrooms were cozy but need more lighting. Bathrooms were clean. We had beautiful weather and were able to enjoy the outdoor space. Firewood was provided for the firepit, and beach towels that have seen many seasons, were provided for the hot tub. As mentioned in previous reviews, it is a well-loved family home, and you will find family pictures and art from the grandkids on the walls. If you are looking for a hotel like atmosphere this isn't the place for you. Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home.

A lovely, cozy cottage perfect for a couple’s getaway. Homey decor, very comfortable bed, decent water pressure and a wonderful little kitchen with pans and utensils needed for home cooked meals. We had a wonderful time feeling at home and comfortable here. The host is friendly and responsive and gave very easy and clear instructions for arrival and departure. Would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful and peaceful spot! We stayed at this cottage to be close to a hospitalized family member and deal with the things a family has to as parents get older so it was not a vacation stay. The cottage was like a little sanctuary after a hard few days. It was perfect and exactly what we needed.

Jennifer's place was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! We visit the Finger Lakes area often and like to stay at different airbnb's each time, and this was one of our favorites! The house was clean, cozy and had everything we needed to make us feel right at home. The hot tub was the cherry on top of an already amazing setting. Jennifer was also responsive and very clear from the beginning about check-in/check-out and everything in between. We would definitely book again!

Such a beautiful place! Mary and Mark have a lovely home and the inside was super clean and exactly as described. The location was great and Mary provided a list of amazing local recommendations. They were so quick to respond and very kind. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time at the tree house! We came with lots of family and everyone was comfortable. The scenery is breathtaking. The tram to the lake was a nice touch. The deck and fire pit added to the family enjoyment. There was lots of extra towels and linen. Christie was responsive to all my questions in a very timely manner and was a pleasure to deal with. A great time was had by all! Would definitely come back in the future.

My family and I had the absolute most wonderful weekend here!! Victoria was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We ice fished and cooked on the grill and relaxed in the hot tub. ❤️ it was absolutely wonderful!

Had a wonderful time at Jan and Mark's Cozy Lake Front Cottage in Faun Lake! The cottage comes with a full working kitchen, and many places to sit for enjoying a card game or a campfire. The front porch is a big bonus, also. All in all, everything was great! For shopping: Warsaw about 20 minutes away has ample shopping with a Walmart, Tops grocery and boutiques. Arcade, also about 20 minutes, has a decent amount of shops and groceries. The lakes were beautiful and really do offer Adirondack like views. The trails circle both larger lakes and have seating spots, gazebos and docks. If you have a canoe or kayak, bring it to enjoy the paddling. We rate this as 5 star and would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a great deal with an awesome experience!

One of the best Airbnbs. location was great. The backyard had direct access to the lake, there was a fire put, barbeque grill, there was nothing missing and we had everything we needed. We took a 2 wheeler vehicle so we needed some help when it snowed and thr host was super responsive and had someone come over to plow the snow right away. I will definitely come back in the summers!!!

We stayed at Kate's for three nights while visiting family in the area. The place was perfect, really charming, clean, pleasant, quiet, and well-equipped. Kate was easy to communicate with, made our stay a pleasure and made us feel at home. Couldn't be better; we'll be back if she'll have us!

This was the second time I stayed here, and if I am in the area again, I will stay a third.

The cottage was so cozy and just perfect for what we needed for our weekend. It was exactly as described and the views at sunset were *chefs kiss*. My kids had an absolute blast on the swim mat and the dock and our very senior chocolate lab had no troubles wading into the lake to cool off and napping in the shade. I did cook the days we were there and I do wish the kitchen was a little more well stocked. It was missing the basics like a colander and measuring cups. I looked everywhere, and if they were there, I couldn’t find em. And we did have a little trouble with the lock getting in. Gena’s cottage is absolutely wonderful and we would 100% recommend. It’s so perfect for all ages. We had my 1 1/2 year old to my 68 year old father. What are you waiting for!? Book it!!!

Cozy cottage in the perfect spot for a quiet Thanksgiving week. Sat outside for hot coffee and taking in the beautiful view of the lake. Enjoyed warming up by the fireplace and seeing the water from the comfort of the family room. Cottage is on a private lane that made walking the dog easy and much safer than the main road. Location is just a few minute drive outside of town and close to tons of hiking. Derek was very responsive, and instructions for check-in/out were clear. A terrific stay!
