I would highly recommend Mark's place in Calpine, CA The house was spacious, clean & Amazingly Beautiful & had more than I expected as for utensils, coffee machine etc. to cook with in the kitchen - LOVED IT ! We attended a wedding at the Sierra Meadows & the house was close by in driving to the wedding venue. If you're looking for something fun to do - Go River Rafting down the Truckee River starting in Tahoe City and it's a blast, beautiful and so relaxing !! The House from Tahoe City is about 45 mins but so worth it ! Truckee Town is fabulous to check out & great foods. We'll definitely be back if in the area! Thank you Mark ! Kimberly W.

Great place. Lots of space and wonderful deck with good views. Driveway is steep and a bit challenging for big vehicles.

Ben's house was amazing to stay at. The house exceeded all of our expectations. It was extremely comfortable, had great amenities and thoughtful touches (board games, more than enough dishes, an ice machine). The actual house I think was even better than described. More beds than listed--one of the rooms was a loft above the garage with its own living room and bathroom. This was excellent for our group so that one couple could get some extra peace and privacy while not being at a separate house. Highly recommend staying here!

Very cozy & comfortable house with amazing access to all the beautiful hikes, lakes, rivers in the area. Tobias was a super helpful and communicative host. A gem!

Beautiful home and views! Came here for a family wedding. The town is very small and not many things are open at this time of year but the home itself was well-equipped with the kitchen essentials etc. We had a fun time roasting marshmallows outside under the stars!

From the initial booking, to check in and check out, Michael was extremely responsive and very clear in setting expectations. His place is very well appointed! Looking forward to another visit!

Great for mountain bikers, close to dorm and easy to get back once you’re ride is over and you have dropped your legs in the cold river.

Loved the river access it was So nice to just walk down to the river fish and relax. The house was awesome! Loved the kitchen and the aesthetic through the house. We felt right at home. The brewfest was a lot of fun and easy to walk to and from town (the hill was a good little workout haha) we hope to stay there again in the future! Thank you

La Porte is an incredible little mountain town. Highly recommend visiting in winter if you want solitude, and enjoy snowshoeing or cross country skiing, or snowmobiling.

Luci’s loft was cozy, clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our two night stay in Laporte. The towels and linens were very nice, and we enjoyed the back deck area. She provides a small basket of items in case you forgot anything, as well as coffee. Luci is super friendly and responsive, and we will definitely stay here again!

Constellation Creek was everything I wanted a glamping experience to be! Lovely location in the middle of the woods where it gets really dark at night. The cabins were roomy and clean and well outfitted. Georgie was super friendly and gave us great suggestions for hikes in the area. Unfortunately it was cloudy when we were there so we weren't able to see the stars, but I'd love to go back sometime and experience that.

Thank you so much for everything Luci!! This place was so perfect for my month and a half long stay! Luci was such a great host and so welcoming. Luci thought of everything and if there was ever anything I needed she was quick to remedy it. She even offered to pick up things from town every time she came up, and left a couple sweet thoughtful gifts. La Port is such a great town, everyone in town is so nice and welcoming and the nature views around are unparalleled. I will miss La Porte so much! Notes for guests: If you work from home- the internet is fantastic! Be sure to check out the longhorn meat next store at the general shop! You won’t be disappointed you stayed here! ☺️

Luci was so great to welcome us back for our second stay at her beautiful cabin. we are always so sad to leave the historic town of Laporte. huge thank you from us all for the amazing hospitality from Luci, we will absolutely recommend anyone come stay with her at her property as she is an amazing host!

Was a perfect place for our golf group. We had a great time and Walt was an exceptional communicator and host. Cant wait to go back next year!

We had a few things to do in Reno on our trip and wanted to spend time at Lake Tahoe while we were there as well. Scott's place was perfect in being 30 mins from Reno and 30 mins from Tahoe City and Kings beach as well as other various activities like fishing and checking out National Parks. Had a few questions for Scott while we were there and he responded right away. Hot tub outside and fireplace inside were nice added touches that made us feel right at home.

Brooke was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The place sits in a magical area of Portola and we had a lovely time. We opted to stay there for two nights after our wedding at Twenty Mile House and it was a great decision.

We stayed for four nights and celebrated Thanksgiving with our family at the cabin. We loved the easy access to the mountains and hiked every day. The family enjoyed the gas heating stove (downstairs) and the wood burning stove (upstairs) that kept us warm as we played games or did puzzles. Kitchen is large and was well equipped for our Thanksgiving food prep.

Brooke's home is incredible. Just driving in you know you're in for a treat. The forest setting is so beautiful with tall pine trees as far as you can see in every direction. It's such a peaceful and quiet place you can hear nothing but nature. Even though there are neighbors nearby the forest blocks almost all but a small glimpse of the other homes. It really is very private and secluded. Once inside we just loved the homes open concept. The great room, dining and kitchen space is awesome. The tall ceilings and large windows really make you feel like you're still in the forest even when you're inside. Brooke's home had all the necessities we needed and then some. I truly think she thought of everything to ensure a great stay. Her beautiful home, in that beautiful forest setting is really something to see.
