Great house out in the country. A little bit of a drive to Truckee for skiing but overall not bad and it was very quiet.

Great place. Lots of space and wonderful deck with good views. Driveway is steep and a bit challenging for big vehicles.

Ben's house was amazing to stay at. The house exceeded all of our expectations. It was extremely comfortable, had great amenities and thoughtful touches (board games, more than enough dishes, an ice machine). The actual house I think was even better than described. More beds than listed--one of the rooms was a loft above the garage with its own living room and bathroom. This was excellent for our group so that one couple could get some extra peace and privacy while not being at a separate house. Highly recommend staying here!

Tobias could not have been more helpful! I was not too familiar with the area and he really took me by the hand and gave me all the advice and support I needed. I felt well taken care of.

From the initial booking, to check in and check out, Michael was extremely responsive and very clear in setting expectations. His place is very well appointed! Looking forward to another visit!

Great for mountain bikers, close to dorm and easy to get back once you’re ride is over and you have dropped your legs in the cold river.

Perfect spot - we hit up Sierra Hot Springs one day and hiked near Graeagle the other. Cute, quiet neighborhood and the stars at night were unreal.

My friend and I needed a girls weekend away and this was the perfect spot! We journaled, made art, watched a movie, cooked, went hiking, and spent time by the river. The Chime Inn was charming and cozy and just what we needed to get away from it all for a couple of days. Alicia was a lovely host. Everything was just as described and I look forward to staying here in the future!

Absolutely stunning cabin! The space is warm, cozy, and perfect for a romantic getaway. It had everything we needed to relax and unwind. The location was ideal—far enough from the city to enjoy incredible stargazing, yet still accessible. The thoughtful touches throughout the cabin made it feel so inviting. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable retreat!

This wasn’t the best time of year to visit Sierraville but the accommodation was great and right in the middle of “town” so you could walk to the two restaurants and store. Would happily revisit, especially when it’s not snowing, thank you again. Ps heater worked well :)

Second time I've stayed here, and I would go back again! It's a beautiful, scenic location on a quiet mountain road. Shawn-Paul is always very responsive and helpful. I've been going to Graeagle for years, and this is the hottest summer there I remember. Without AC, it did get a little warm inside, but the ceiling fans and all the portable fans left by the host definitely helped, as did cracking the windows when it cooled down at night. Overall a great getaway!

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was a peaceful and a quiet neighborhood. Made 1 wrong turn getting to it but once we figured out the streets, it was easy. My family and i would definitely book this cabin again.

Thank you so much for everything Luci!! This place was so perfect for my month and a half long stay! Luci was such a great host and so welcoming. Luci thought of everything and if there was ever anything I needed she was quick to remedy it. She even offered to pick up things from town every time she came up, and left a couple sweet thoughtful gifts. La Port is such a great town, everyone in town is so nice and welcoming and the nature views around are unparalleled. I will miss La Porte so much! Notes for guests: If you work from home- the internet is fantastic! Be sure to check out the longhorn meat next store at the general shop! You won’t be disappointed you stayed here! ☺️

Luci was so great to welcome us back for our second stay at her beautiful cabin. we are always so sad to leave the historic town of Laporte. huge thank you from us all for the amazing hospitality from Luci, we will absolutely recommend anyone come stay with her at her property as she is an amazing host!

We needed an off-the-grid cabin and this was THE perfect option. Nice and comfy/cozy and the perfect location for Sierra Valley and the Gold Lakes. So welcoming to have a warm and safe spot to retire too after a day of travel or a long day of adventure. EXACTLY what we were looking for.

Was a perfect place for our golf group. We had a great time and Walt was an exceptional communicator and host. Cant wait to go back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Scott's and Alanna's home. The house is beautiful, cozy, clean, spacious and well stocked. Host was very accommodating and responsible. We would love to stay again!

We went up with a family of 8, 6 adults and 2 children. The home was incredibly clean, location was easy to find, check in and out was very simple and easy. The neighborhood is incredibly clean, quiet, and relaxing. Brooke was incredibly nice and responsive to anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back.

Our extended family stayed through the Christmas holidays. The space was perfect for our multiage group to have together and private time. The kitchen was very well set up and easy for multiple cooks to work together. Our hostess was incredibly thoughtful going extra miles to do things like get us a permit so we could cut a tree on the national forest, decorating the house beautifully, and leaving wonderful gifts for the children. The house is packed with family games and puzzles and a has hot tub. The forest setting is beautiful and quiet. I can't recommend this place more highly for family or friend groups to enjoy some time together.

Absolutely beautiful home and area, great place to unplug and relax, the hot tub was incredible, especially during a light snow fall! Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to be cook with. Tons of extra bedding and towels. We definitely plan to be back again during summer!

The property had stunning views from every room. The space was spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay!
