We had a great ,relaxing couple of nights here at this cool little house. Dawn was very responsive when we reached out to her.🙂 The pond out front was very nice and peaceful. There is alot to do here fishing,boating,and games. We would recommend this house and will be back when we are in this area again. Thankyou to Dawn.👋😀

First Cast is First Class!!!! Luke is the ultimate host. He and his wife are establishing a legacy of hospitality on Caddo Lake. First Cast has all the amenities you would expect (and more) in a beautiful location. I really appreciate all the extra thoughtfulness they have put into making this such a premier place on the lake. I definitely look forward to returning often and enjoying such a peaceful place. Thanks again, Luke! David

If you’re looking for the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of Caddo right outside your window, this is the place! The walk down the dock, under the Cypress trees felt straight out of a movie. We were able to paddle through the water straight from the house. Then, there’s the beautiful accommodations too! The bed was so comfy, I had to take pictures of the labels so I can recreate it at home. And the soaking tub was such a treat! 10/10 recommend and I hope we get to come back!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful, well thought out design and very clean. The sleeping area is separate from gathering area and that worked wonderful for napping toddlers. The bathrooms are very spacious and well lit. The laundry room is great when you are staying for over a week with family. We even got to enjoy the pool since it hit 85* in February. Many hours spent in the hot tub Beds are awesome and very comfortable. The house is not at all cluttered and very tastefully decorated. The view of the lake was so peaceful and felt so private. Had a little luck fishing in the lake but mostly just enjoyed family time in this lovely home. GW is so kind and welcoming, he makes you fell like family. If we are ever in the area again we will see if this property is available to make more family memories.

Can’t say enough, one of the best houses I have ever rented. This is the bar being set right here. I have a contracting business we stayed at this house off and on for 2 1/2 years. Always clean, always easy to deal with, I wish this team ran every ABNB. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Truly great experience every time. We chose this place for a weekend visit to Caddo Lake State Park. Did not disappoint. The host was flexible to allow us early check in. Very responsive and proactive, checking on how our stay experience was on a daily basis. Will definitely choose this place again. Thank you for the treats!

Everything about this house and hosts was pure perfection! Every single thing we could think of was already there waiting for us... Disposable coffee cups to take down to the dock, a sharpie for writing names on solo cups, ice maker to never run out, even bubble bath for the gorgeous tubs. The attention to detail was impressive and made our stay even more enjoyable. It felt as though we stepped in to a friend’s house who knew our needs before we did. We ended up having a rainy day, but didn’t miss out on any fun. The covered porch had plenty of space for fun and kept us dry. The 7 kids in our group range in age from 8-14… they had plenty to do and even chose to leave the phones inside and explore the property. Their favorite rooms were the bunk rooms and their favorite activity was playing ping pong. The big girls particularly enjoyed sun bathing on the dock! The memories made here for our families are absolutely priceless. It was an ideal getaway from work and stress!

I highly recommend the Little House in the Woods if you are in the Ruston area! My husband and I were in town for a baseball series against LaTech and travelling with a pet. The house was immaculate upon arrival and had everything we and our pooch needed. I loved relaxing on the front screened porch in the evenings. It's a very quick ride to Ruston for restaurants and stores. Also want to add that everyone in the area was so friendly!

Me and some friends stayed while we were attending a wedding, and it was a great place to just relax. Everything was clean, nothing was broken, and we had no issues with the neighborhood. There were a lot of great features like comfortable beds, and a pool table! the hosts were very friendly, and super helpful when anything came up. I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!
