Everything was as described except we didn’t realise it’s part of a block with shared walls - it’s not secluded which made the three seperate rooms design more awkward. There are better deals to be had in the area if you value tranquility over a modern build.

Amazing stay! The villa is close to the moat beautiful beach - only a 5 min walk. It is easy to bicycle into the cute town of puerto Viejo and supermarkets are not too far. The villa is beautiful and surrounded by the jungle - so be prepared for noisy nights due to the many sounds from animals! :-)

My previous experience at Casa Hernan was so great that I didn't think twice about booking another stay with Ana Grace for my most recent trip. There, you feel at home and the magnificent host (and team members) are always standing by to assist with all your accommodation needs. Simply said, Casa Hernan and Ana Grace are my go-to when I'm in PZ, and I recommend you do the same. Highly recommendrecommended!

Unbelievably nice place. We wished we had more time in the house and would highly recommend to others. Located right next to the beach. If it was for sale and I had the money, I’d buy it ten times. Great stay.

Really good location, just 5 minutes from a large grocery store and the Main Street of Puerto Viejo. The villa has two bedrooms, each with a bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed and indoor bathroom. The other bedroom has a king size bed and the bathroom is entirely outdoors, which we didn’t care for. The constant high humidity means the towels never dry. There are ants and it just felt dirty all the time. The outdoor space is beautiful and private. We spend a lot of time hanging out by the pool. The kitchen is basic but ok. There’s no microwave. Drip coffee maker. They provide filtered water. The vegetation all around the villa is tropical and gorgeous.

A super fun experience to sleep in the middle of the Jungle and wake up by wild birds and howler monkeys. In the cottage are all amenities with a hot shower, toilet and double bed. There is also an outdoor kitchen, but we did not use it. We are all evenings cozy along the beach or eat. These restaurants are also well within walking distance. The only feedback we have is that the road to the cottage, when it's dark, can be better lit. You have to shine the last piece with your flashlight. Also had clear instructions with photos and videos on how to get him to the cottage. Lara responds super quickly if you ask her anything via app and is also very flexible and helpful. So she also advised us a good tour guide to us for the National park and the Kayak tour. In short, a super location just outside all the hustle and bustle and within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property!

Awesome stay highly recommended

This was such a great stay. I am travelling solo, so the added measure of a gated community and direct contact with the managers made me feel very comfortable. For any solo traveler, this is a great place to see monkeys above your room and have an extra measure of safety solo accommodation can easily lack. Thanks for the hospitality!

My wife and I loved this place. The privacy and wildlife were exactly what we wanted out of our vacation. Tucans daily, parrots and lots of other birds. We felt very comfortable with our host Adrian and he was always very respectful of our privacy and communicated if there was any need to come by the house and what time he would be there. The road wasn't as bad as what I was expecting and in fact they were even upgrading it while we were staying there. Was completed just before we left. We already wish we were back there and will be booking again.

Jenny and her family were very good hosts! Very attentive and helpful. The facilities are very good cities and in good condition. The pool is big and everything is very private.

Very unique, charming home with incredible location. The cliff overlooking the water was so private and relaxing. Very secure gated property. We would absolutely rent again.

Wow! The photos do not do this place justice. They have updated the outdoor area with lovely furniture. The view is absolutely spectacular!! We didn’t want to leave. We stayed with our sons, 7 and 10 and we all thoroughly enjoyed the home and especially the pool and view. The host was very responsive to all of our needs. Recommend!
