Vacation rentals in Shimizu Ward

Very clean and new. Nice location. We drove 5 mins to an excellent sunrise place. 5 people stayed super comfortably. There is 1 bathroom so more people might take longer time to finish showering. Very warm indoor.

We had a nice time there. It’s a beautiful home, not at the main road, but right next to the forest. It’s easy to reach in a 5 minute bus ride from Kawaguchiko station or a quick taxi ride. Thank you!

We had a great stay. Hosts were very helpful with recommendations and getting us cabs into town. The beach was perfect for our 3 kids and a very close walk from the house. They had lots of boogie boards and surf boards available to rent. The Kitchen was well equipped and we loved they had multiple refrigerators since the space used to be a restaurant. The bedrooms were very good size for multiple people. Air conditioning worked great in the bedrooms and living room. We loved the huge deck for relaxing! Laundry was a bit difficult as there is no dryer. Places to hang dry your clothes were available. One down side to the house is there is no bathroom upstairs, and all the bedrooms were up stairs. I would Deffinetly recommend this great beach house! Thanks guys for a great time.

We spent the October long weekend at Hiroko’s house and it was absolutely perfect. We had lovely weather to enjoy nightly barbecues on the beautiful balcony, perfect for enjoying the amazing view over the coast. The house is really conveniently located to so many beaches (we enjoyed Irita and Kisami the most) as well as to central Shimoda town and plenty of ammenities. It was great to have the outdoor shower and the beautiful modern shower and spa room after a day at the beach. The house is at the top of a very, very steep hill but we had no problems accessing it, however we chose to only drive to the beach as it would have been too steep for our kids to walk back home. Hiroko gave clear instructions of how to find the house which was very helpful.

We stayed for the second time - it was so good the first time we had to come back. Incredible property, beautiful location with great local spots. The hosts are super responsive and make sure you have an amazing stay. Izu is one of our favourite areas in Japan, highly reccomend staying here whether you live in Japan or are just here on holiday. We were here during winter and the house was cozy and the atmosphere was perfect. If you do go to izu this is the place to stay!

Beautiful place secluded in privacy and serene. Place is well designed , clean , all amenities provided. Good place to stay with family and a place definitely recommended for stay. The view of Mount Fuji is just so stunning !

Great spot to relax in with a great view of Mt Fuji plus everything we needed to feel at home.

We spent a wonderful time! Rolf’s house is spacious, luminous and well equipped, with a great terrace and beautiful views of the sea. Rolf is a very friendly, flexible and reactive host. He provided plenty of information prior to our arrival and was easy to join during our stay.
