Chalet vacation rentals in Shenandoah County

THE perfect getaway! The Ketchup & Mustard house will be a memory my family and I will cherish for a long long time. We came hoping to get away from the city and soak up time together. The home was so cozy. We watched Netflix, admired the view, cooked dinner, played with Legos, and walked our dogs around beautiful surroundings. Thank you Aimee!!

My family and I came here to celebrate my 22nd birthday. I was looking for a peaceful weekend getaway with entertainment at the property. We had a fantastic time doing a family game night tournament while also having the day to relax. It’s a beautiful property with beautiful surroundings and views. The owner/host had the house very prepared for guests, lots of little things guest may need along their stay. I loved the interior decorations and will have to steal some of her ideas :) Overall, I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, clean and cosy get away!

Great area to explore and very private!

Fantastic cabin in the woods with a beautiful view. Very comfortable, clean and relaxing. I loved the view from the hot tub! Easy drive to the hiking trails. And loved the roar from the Shenandoah River!

Great stay overall! Quiet area with not many food options so don’t be picky when you come. RHouse was my favorite but only open three days out the week and reservation only so book in advance. Did not use fire pit or grill but nice to have. Only critique is the couch could use an upgrade. Some parts were hard as a rock and it came apart pretty easy. I understand though, it’s not worth spending hundreds of dollars since many folks don’t treat nice things the right way. Beds were comfy, loved the blankets. Hot water in the shower. String lights on deck really set the mood. Parking was chill for me but I would suggest driving SUV so it’s easier to get up hills and back in driveway. Would definitely do it again and recommend.

It is a place thag provides privacy and a beautiful view. Very cozy, very clean, and very relaxing. I would definitely stay again when i head that way.

Great spot for a little weekend getaway with our group of 5. proximity to hiking, breweries, and caverns was a plus but we could have had just as much fun staying put at the place all weekend!

Lovely cottage in a secluded, yet easily accessible area. Very clean, fully equipped kitchen and bbq/fire pit area. Beds extremely comfortable and sheets sparkling clean. A few minor things were not working but the host took note of those. WiFi is slow, but it was fine for us as we wanted to disconnect. Definitely recommend !
