Vacation rentals with a patio in Shem Creek

The house was just as advertised and was one of the best AirBnB experiences we have ever had. First, Tyler was an incredible host and was a great communicator in regards to being proactive, welcoming and very responsive to my queries. The house was beautiful, super clean, updated and very comfortable and was absolutely perfect for our needs. The neighborhood is in transition which was perfectly fine with us, even walking the dogs late at night. It was super easy entrance, there were fresh flowers and snacks and a bottle of sparkling to greet us! The property sits minutes from the north part of King Street and we walked downtown from his place but also took hired cars downtown which took minutes so its in a great location. There is an amazing restaurant just minutes from the house named Sorghum and Salt which should not be missed. We loved this place and if coming back to Charleston will DEFINITELY stay here again. I completely loved staying at Mackenzie’s Airbnb. We were there 4 days. The house was extremely cleaned, well furnished, and with all the comforts of home. We were in town for a birthday party and were literally a 2-3 minute walk to that home to visit with family and friends! The downtown area of North Charleston was also walkable! I will definitely stay here the next time(s) I come up to visit. Thank you Mackenzie for your wonderful hospitality!!!

Laurie's place was only about 10 minutes from downtown and walking distance to a nearby park, coffee shop. We felt super safe, and it was nice to come back to relax in a quiet spot after spending the day in downtown Charleston. It was perfect for my husband and me. we would definitely stay again.

Melody was a great host, very responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was fine, but surroundings areas were not very nice. It was only 15-20 min drive to all the places we wanted to visit and easy to get around. The place itself was exactly what we needed. The outdoor street lights were pretty bright despite the window coverings, and Saturday night you could hear music and loud cars driving through but nothing terrible. They had many magazines and information about Charleston around that helped us plan our trip. The mini yard was nice to have with our dog. Overall good place, and decent price compared to being city center.

Very nice and convienient place to stay for my father. It is a single level which is hard to find. We had a hot water heater issue, through no fault of the host, during the stay but it was replaced within 36 hours. Lauren ane Joseph were very responsive and helpful. The cost is competitive with others in the area.

Justin's home was very nice and clean with plenty of space for my family. I felt very blessed to get to spend time with grown children and my son's two doggies for Thanksgiving. We loved the yard space.

The house is exactly like the pictures, we absolutely loved it there. The house is very clean and decorated beautifully. The host was extremely accommodating, letting us book last minute and very responsive. We wouldn’t change one thing about our stay, this will be our go to house from now on. The best Air BnB we’ve ever stayed at.

I have booked Laurence’s home several times because it exceeds expectations each and every time!! This stay, since it was during the Christmas season, Laurence had a beautiful Christmas tree in the living room- a lovely and festive touch!

Good location. Comfortable home. Had everything we needed and more for our 3 day stay. Very large, fenced backyard! Quite neighborhood. Would stay again.

We will definitely be staying here again! The hosts were awesome! Excellent communication. They immediately took care of any issues we had. The house was perfect for us. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. House is in a quiet neighborhood that is very close to stores and restaurants. Can't wait for our next stay!

We enjoyed our stay at “Blue Herron. We were able to relax and enjoy the lovely view from almost every room in the house. The water views are so serene. There are plenty of restaurants and outlet stores that are walkable. Meghan is a great host and responds to your questions quickly. I would most definitely stay again!

We were four of us girls - each with a separate bedroom and was pleasantly surprised to have a smart tv in each. I love watching a little tv before bed - so that was nice. Every room had all the necessities, bathroom - with shampoo, soaps etc., kitchen all you needed to cook meals - we made one large meal on one night and it was easy to find everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. I really can't say anything negative about her house and our stay, except it was a bit of a drive to downtown and plantation we visited, but nothing exorbitant and fairly close to airport for one of our group to get picked up. We appreciated the quiet of the neighborhood, the pool to sit out at and just chat and saving some dollars from being in town. Everyone enjoyed the trip and Renee's home. She definitely goes out of her way to be a great host!

Julia's place was just what I needed for an extended stay. Good, quiet location near restaurants and grocery shopping. Clean home, great for pets.

The view is even better than the photos!! loved being just a few steps away from the beach. John gave us great recommendations for restaurants and points of interests. Kitchen is well stocked and had nearly everything we needed.

we look forward to IOP every year and always book a sea cabin. Margaret's place was hands down our favorite! she has the perfect set up for women to share the space. it was clean and well equipped. we had a very weird situation with the balcony door at the end of our stay but it didn't impact our trip and Margaret was easy to communicate with! we enjoyed our time there and will definitely return in the future.

Location was great. Plenty of towels & supplies were already available & beds were comfy.

We enjoyed our vacation here. I loved the big walk-in closet, and my husband loved the high shower head that he didn'thave to duck to get under. My son loved the snacks. Everything was clean and comfortable!

Condo was perfectly located with beach access just across the street. We had a perfect view of the ocean and could walk any where we wanted. Everything was provided including beach chairs and towels. The elevator was close and parking was adequate. We will definitely choose this condo again.

We had an incredible week-long stay at this beautiful condo, which was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 young children. The condo was spacious, immaculately clean, and offered stunning views of both the ocean and the golf course. All three bedrooms were generously sized, and we never felt crowded. The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from the beach and even closer to the pool, which provided endless hours of fun for our entire family. The easy parking and short drive to Charleston made exploring the area a breeze. Plus, there are fantastic restaurants both nearby and in the city. Steve was an outstanding host—friendly, responsive, and very easy to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this condo to anyone. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Great place! Very comfortable and safe and close to everything. Michaela was very responsive and the house was perfect for what we needed to us and the dogs. We will definitely check to see if it's available next time we are in Charleston.

Nikki’s place was absolutely lovely! Nikki was kind, responsive and pro active! When we arrived the key code didn’t work! But it wasn’t a problem at all, Nikki answered my call straight away and her husband arrived within 15 minutes to sort things out, we really appreciated this. The home was completely clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed. The beds and pillows were especially comfortable and the towels were fluffy and brilliant white! I would recommend her place for your stay, I for sure will be back again! Thank you Nikki ☺️
