Vacation rentals in Shelbyville

Ashley, thank you so much for sharing your place with us for a few days! My kids and I had such a terrific time! We were able to spend lots of time together, play games, fished (and caught) from the bank, we even swam right out front. The home included everything we needed plus the added bonus of good wifi!!! We will be back!

We loved our time at this cabin. The location is beautiful with views of the lake and fantastic outdoor area. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked. Beautiful bathrooms! Loved it so much we booked it again.

My stay at The Lodge was very satisfying! A tiny slice of heaven tucked in the Angelina forest. Everything is exactly as described with everything that you will need and then some and the host, Amy is very attentive and responded quickly to any questions that I had prior to my arrival. Highly recommend this stay if you need to disconnect and recharge!

The whole family had a great time, we are already talking about coming back next year. The WIFI connection was great, all of our devices, phones, laptops, and Tv had excellent connections. The view of the lake was very nice and the sunsets were beautiful.

I can’t say enough about how well thought out and beautiful the house and location was during our stay. Pamela is the perfect hostess and every inch of the house is decorated Beautifully and functionally. So much thought was put into this space which makes for the perfect getaway. The house is stocked with higher end amenities and things you’d purchase for your own home, which was a nice touch; think luxury lake life! The view of the lake was postcard picturesque and she’s not lying about that sunrise! My kids loved looking for deer prints down by the lake and eating snacks on the picnic table. By far our new favorite thing place to visit!

The location and area was serene and beautiful! We had a great trip over Thanksgiving week and had everything we need ed for fishing, hot tubbing, holiday movies, walks and camp fires. The weather turned out great and we really enjoyed the time as a family. We were able to venture into Hemphill for coffee and some treats. Only downside is there are very few places to shop for supplies around the location that aren't up charged country stores. Knowing that going in we brought groceries with us, just make plans to stop about an hour outside of the spot. Great place!

We had a wonderful stay at Darby's place. The house is nicely updated with so much room! We had three couples in the house plus other family members came to grill out with us. THE VIEW, oh my, right on the lake. The patio is a perfect place to hang out, grill and enjoy that view! The beds are very comfortable with nice linens. We had everything we needed. Darby was very responsive when we reached out. We will come back again! Thank you Darby for making our difficult situation easier to bear by providing exceptional accommodations!

Beautiful home and very peaceful. The place was exactly how it was described and had clean linens and everything we needed.

Place is perfect if going to Sam Rayburn to fish or if traveling with animals. Close to several boat ramps, with a covered parking area and electrical outlets for charging marine batteries. Large fenced in yard, plenty of room for the pups to roam around outside. House was very clean and equipped with everything needed to cook. Great place, will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.
