Exceptional Stay in a Perfect Home! My stay at Angelia's beautiful was fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The home is precisely as described, if not better. **Location:** Perfectly nestled in the woods of Black River with only a 2 minute walk to Lake Michigan. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Many people walk their dogs in the area and were quite friendly. **Cleanliness:** Spotless! This is one of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed in. Every corner of the home was immaculate and well-maintained, radiating a fresh and inviting atmosphere. **Amenities:** The home was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to make a full Thanksgiving Feast minus the food of course. The day we arrived a care taker stopped over with a brand new standing mixer for our stay. I asked if they had a hand mixer and was told no, so I was happy to bring mine. We were so surprised when the standing mixer arrived!!

Beautiful property on the lake. Well stocked and cozy. Lots of space and gorgeous views everywhere. We will be back!

Great location and the space was great! Walkable to downtown via the lakefront path, and a great quiet corner of the lake to hang out!

The place was perfect for spending the weekend hanging out with friends. The heat wasn’t turning on to begin with, but the hosts were very responsive and took multiple steps to fix it and make us comfortable.

This place was one of the nicest, cleanest, and well decorated Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. It was well equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils and other essentials, and the furniture was stylish and comfortable. The area was very clean, safe, and tranquil. The view of the harbor from the living room is absolutely fantastic.

Now that I have stayed at Jack's home @ 5 times, I can easily verify that every moment spent in that home is magical - steps away from a walk on the beach, the methodical waves lapping on the shoreline, and the majestic sunrises reflecting on the water combine to provide a therapeutic sensory experience that delivers 24 hours each day. If that isn't enough, there are fabulous coffee shops, restaurants, and bars that you can walk to as well as many others a short drive away. No - Jack does not pay me to write these reviews ... the reviews write themselves. Enjoy!

I loved this place for my solo retreat. The neighborhood was calm and quiet. It was about a 1 block walk to the city park and 2-3 blocks to downtown, yet the house was a little off the main roads. The river in the backyard was lovely and helped create a nice atmosphere as did the 3 seasons room with fireplace which was beautiful and cozy. The house gets a lot of natural sunlight which was nice too. The house is well rennovated and decorated. There are cute details and nice touches all around the house, I especially enjoyed the multicolored pens provided. There are some books, games, and toys for kids. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows, and the kitchen was stocked with basic essential spices, coffee, and pans/utensils. The bed was comfortable as were the couches. Dan was great at communicating proactively and responsively. Really I couldn't have asked for anything more/better for my time. I would absolutely return!

Nichole’s place was great! It was immaculate. The decor and the layout of the home was modern, yet very warm and inviting. Nichole is a super host and I would recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area!

I enjoyed my stay with Crissy. Clean place, and easy to find. I felt right at home.

Missy's place is a very well-done rehabilitation of the upper story of an older residential Sheboygan home. It feels spacious, and the rehab work was done professionally with high-quality materials. Seating in the living room is comfortable - we watched the Packers dominate the Seahawks, and the window treatments are simple to operate and afford privacy from the neighbors. The kitchen is well-equipped, we liked the dining counter and the house was comfortable during the onset of winter with even heating and no drafts. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The location is great. We could walk to the lake in minutes, and eateries ranging from gastropubs to dive bars were just a few blocks away. Kohler's contemporary arts museum is just down the street. Yet the neighborhood is quiet and uncongested. Our three-day getaway was everything my wife and I could have hoped for.

What a gem! I truly think this property is highly undervalued. The grounds alone are magnificent. Such a gorgeous historic home and peaceful neighborhood. It felt private and secluded yet close to everything that we needed to get to and very walkable safe area. I cannot say enough good things about this Airbnb and hope to stay there again on future trips! Thank you to our wonderful Host, Julie, who was responsive, kind, and very accommodating of us.

Ryan's place was a great place to stay in Elkhart Lake. It was walkable to all the village activities. The apartment was newly updated, furnished very nicely, and equipped well. We will come again.

Great stay on Elkhart Lake! Located in a central location, you can walk into town for dinner and also great lake amenities right on site. We rented a boat for the day and enjoyed the pool and beach access. We also greatly appreciate Pam being one of the few places we found that is dog friendly!

The place was lovely. We really enjoyed the heated floors in the bathroom of the master bedroom. Check-in was flexible and we really appreciated the shoveling/salting of the sidewalk and driveway without having to ask.

A wonderful weekend full of memories for a life time! Enjoyed the beautiful lake views from sunrise to sunset. The history of the home and the many stories that the decor tells opens up endless conversation and wonder.

My large family with 10 kids ages 3 to 10 and I used Sarah’s place this last week. Upon entering the cottages, one of the things I immediately noticed was that despite the fact that the cottages are older, don’t have air conditioning, and have carpet for most of the flooring, there were absolutely no problems with allergens due to how clean everything was. The house is amazingly stocked and has everything you could want or need to make your stay comfortable and fun, and the water was refreshing and clear. Our group loved swimming each night after hot days in town. In the actual house, there isn’t a bed smaller than a full, which gave us so many options when it came to sharing beds, etc. The location is extremely quiet and feels safe. Sarah did a great job of responding to messages and posting all house information online. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful family winter get away! We loved the beautiful and peaceful area, right near the beach. Even in the snowy weather, we loved walking to the beach and around the area. The home itself was both stylish and comfortable. We will be taking inspiration from the beautiful decor for our new home. It also had everything we were looking for and more- coffee, snacks, cooking Utensils, toiletries etc! The kids room & hang out area, as well as the basement and ping pong were a huge hit for the whole family. The only thing to note is that the beds are memory foam, and definitely for a person that enjoys a more firm mattress. My husband loved it and never slept better. I love my pillow top, soft mattress- so the beds took some getting used to for me. Although it is a more remote location, it is only a 10 min drive to both Kohler and Sheboygan. We would love to return again in the summer months! 10/10 from us. :)

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Host is very friendly and responsive. First time I’ve woken up feeling well rested in a minute, beds really helped any of our back issues. Main parking spots might not be available at first due to people parking there for ice fishing on the lake but plenty of street parking. If staying in the winter, run the water for a moment to run through any sediment in the pipes. (Not a house problem, just winter in Wisconsin.) :)
