Apartment vacation rentals in Shawnee Mission

As described in photos. Location: The directions were very clear. 30 minute drive from MCI airport. I visited South KC, Raymore, Grandview, Olathe, and Overland Park. All places were between 10-30 minute commute. The Plaza has so many places to shop and eat within walking distance (even on a cold day). Westport and Midtown is literally 4 minutes away. Lots of night life and cool little shops up 39th Street. Lots of history, and the locals love to tell you all about Kansas City. If you are into meeting people and trying new things and like be in the center of the action, but in a quiet and safe neighborhood at night, then book this location. Cleanliness: It was clean when I arrived. There are cleaning supplies, so you can keep it clean yourself. Noise: You can hear upstairs neighbors. If you're not used to apartment living, it could be a little noisy at times. I slept well, it was generally quiet. Kitchen: I cooked and made smoothies every day. All that you need is provided!

Excellent property that more than met our needs. Provided me with easy access to the college my daughter attends, along with being in walking distance of restaurants and shops. The space was open and lovely. They had games available for my 9 year old son and me to play, and a quiet space for my older daughter to complete a final paper. We were able to easily prepare for our days and hit the ground running with available space for organizing our clothes, shoes, etc. It was all out of the way of high traffic areas we tended to frequent and made it so much easier to have things ready in a space we aren't familiar. They were kind and informative, leaving nothing to be questioned in the expectations of arrival, stay, and departure. Cleaning the space was a breeze and we never hunted for necessary essentials. Definitely recommend this space to those that like peaceful privacy and a nice little place separate from the rest of the world. We felt right at home!

I Highly recommend staying here! Super great hosts, wonderful homey place, good price at a really nice location. The kitchen was great, perfect size for making meals for two. Very comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. These two thought of everything you would need, plus offered help if we needed anything else. We kept saying it felt like home as we stayed there for our four day trip. Hosts were super responsive and always kept us in the loop with anything we might need to know. I will definitely be checking back here if I need a place to stay near Kansas City and recommending this to any of my out of town family for their next visit!! Thank you both again for opening up your home for guests! You are a huge reason why our trip was so wonderful!

Super cute place and a great value, much more spacious than expected. The area feels up and coming and the location is super convenient - a great coffee shop just short walk away, and an easy drive to several parks, museums and restaurants. We stayed for 10 days leading up to and through Thanksgiving and felt at home the whole time. Kristin was a great host, super responsive, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was great when driving through the area. It is in a little strip with a couple of good restaurants and a small bar. Close to a nice small lake.

My parents who were visiting town from out of the country stayed here for two weeks. It was the perfect place for them - just a short 10 minute drive from my house with all of the comfort of their own home and in a very peaceful setting surrounded by trees and more trees (but yet right off the highway). Beautiful, peaceful, clean, just a great place overall. Also, I let my parents borrow my electric car and Jodi and Brandon quickly facilitated a great way of charging the vehicle overnight. Very much appreciated. Great place to stay, we all loved it. Next time they come back, we'll try to book this again!

Nice stay in a very cool neighborhood. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping etc... The street is quiet and clean. I recommend this house. It was as advertised.

Great location with a dining table and living space large enough and very comfortable for my family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Extremely well stocked kitchen and cozy beds. Friendly host that was very responsive. Will definitely stay again.

I enjoyed my stay

Loved staying here with my partner! There's a Whole Foods within walking distance and everything is a close drive. Home was clean and cozy and the hot tub was great. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and there were lots of blankets! I also liked that Abbey had a box fan in the closet for sleep noise. We would definitely stay here again!

The location itself was absolutely beautiful and meticulously maintained. The value for the price was exceptional—every detail was top quality. There’s truly nothing negative to say. I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The location is fantastic, with easy access to the highway, making it incredibly convenient to get around the city. The area felt safe, which gave me peace of mind, and the apartment complex offers plenty of free parking, so I never had to worry about finding a spot. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, and met all my needs perfectly. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely rent here again in the future. Highly recommend!
