We had traveled far from rental and checked in late. The host was so considerate and helpful, truly appreciated the extra effort. Great experience and highly recommend.

This is our second time staying here and this place never fails to disappoint. Not far from home for us but it sure feels like it. It is the best place to kick back and relax and let all your worries go. The lodge itself is in pristine condition and has everything you could need for a perfect getaway. The bed and the recliner couch is super comfy, and the hot tub is the perfect thing to top it all off. I love coming and seeing the sheep whilst chilling in the hot tub. Honestly one of my favourites places to stay in Scotland. 100% recommend!

The perfect place for a break. The log cabin was really private and peaceful in its location. Cabin has everything you need and hot tub was great as well. Highly recommend 👍

Had a great, relaxing four days. House was easy to find and had everything you would want and more. From fresh fruit and flowers to milk in the fridge. House was lovely and warm on arrival too which was great on a cold wet day. Kitchen was so well stocked. Large casserole dishes to slow cookers all in there. No shortage of glasses or utensils which at times can happen at rentals. Plenty of clean fresh towels in every bedroom and bathroom. We had our dog with us and he wasn’t missed either with a nice pack of treats. Well kept garden and a big open space for the kids to run around in also. Only small thing was you had to drive out for walks as the house is not on a route and has no pavements to walk out on. Strathaven itself has enough to keep you busy and has some nice little cafes and bakers! Just a great place to get away to. Yvonne was brilliant and so responsive. Kindly dropped Halloween baskets off for the kids too. Loved it! Neil

I’ve stayed at Pauline’s place a few times before and each time it gets so much better. There’s so many homely touches and Pauline is a brilliant host. Definitely worth a visit if you’re planning to visit Scotland

A Perfect Stay at Tin Lid Cottage" We had an absolutely wonderful time at Tin Lid Cottage. Catherine and Dylan were fantastic hosts, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Really lovely main door flat in a great location. Spacious, homely and warm (during a very cold week) and a great location close to anything you could want plus transport to city centre. We could park right outside the door and the lovely (shared) garden was very handy with the dog. Highly recommend!

I wish I could give it more than 5 starts. Couldn’t fault it, Liz had thought of everything and the place is lovely. Would highly recommend and we will visit again when we are in the area

Fantastic lodge In great location for exploring the area. Gorgeous spacious lounge area & balcony for the family to enjoy Together. Super comfy beds! Lovely bedrooms. Everything you need in the kitchen. Our party of 6 adults & two children had a fabulous time. Louise was a great helpful host. Thank you!

The most perfect location for a hen party! Chris was the most amazing host with all his information to ensure the stay was as perfect as it could have been! Chris was always on hand if anything was required and always ready to answer questions along with giving recommendations! Location was perfect in a very quiet neighbourhood with a 5 minute walk to the train station to get straight into the centre of Glasgow in no time! Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!
