Places to stay in Sharpsburg

My family and I were here for a winter wedding at Zigbone Farm. We were so fortunate to have found Stoney Spring Overlook for our stay. The house is charming, comfortable and spacious. The views are breathtaking. They was not one thing that we needed, the house is very well equipped. We felt right at home and Jeanne was the most gracious host. Jeanne provided lots of valuable information about nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and scenic spots. 5 stars is hardly enough, I wish I could give more. We look forward to returning to what the other seasons are like at Stoney Spring Overlook.

I will say excellent things about this place. I will say excellent things about this place. Welcome to the schoolhouse, where the decor and environment remind you of days of yore. With a gorgeous views especially out the back and kitchen side, we enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub. We enjoyed an outing of a hike in the PawPaw tunnel, and had some food at Cheryl's Snack Shack. We were seeking a private place with easy access but felt remote, within a couple hours from home. We achieved that goal, and we enjoyed ourselves. Kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of towels for the hot tub.

This house is very nice!! Lots of room to hang out even a separate downstairs area with a gaming room !! Really comfortable furniture!! Beautifully furnished!! Fully stocked kitchen!!! Very close to Harper’s ferry, lots of hiking and some great restaurants! Jason and angel were great hosts!! A great place to get away to!!!

We did a last minute booking for our big crew of two families and it was the perfect location and house size. Room for the parents and the kids to spread out and spend some fun time. We came to the area to snow tube at night and decided we just wanted to stay. The kids loved that you could watch them rebuild the hill! The house is easy to find and located in a great location with tons around. Check in was easy and we were greeted by a nice cozy, warm house after our drive to the area. Contacting the office for any issues is super easy. We couldn’t get the fireplace to light and they sent someone right to us. We had already booked our tubing, but they gave us a refund of the discount offered as a guest. There is a lot of highway noise and noise as they rebuild the hill, so just be prepared and bring ear plugs or a noise machine. The office does offer ear plugs as well, but we were just fine and so tired that it didn’t bother us! Thanks for the hospitality!

We had such a lovely stay at the cabin! It was remote and quiet and just what we were looking for to get away!! We loved the hot tub..only thing is that could have used a strainer to clean out debris (but it wouldn’t change my rating)! It was cold we really didn’t get to use the fire pit!! It was warm and cozy inside!!

We had a very nice stay! The view was amazing. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of family memories made! Already looking for dates to book our next stay.

Such a beautiful chalet! We had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday with friends. The beds were comfy and loved the cozy family room. The fireplace was a fave! Lisa was helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful location, perfect escape for the weekend. The fireplace, vista, grill, everything was what we needed Wish we could have stayed even longer! Great driving access to local points of interest. Ally’s wonderful hospitality made us feel right at home. She was so kind, communicative, and helpful. Perfect Airbnb Experience. This getaway was one in a million!
