Take a big look at some unevenness. It is semi-basement, so there are few windows and the view is bad. The sea is right out of the semi-basement entrance. If it is sunny, you can see Kunigo Island. I recommend an early morning walk by the sea.

It takes 10-minute by walk from Kitahama Station. "Vacation rental ABASHIRI no IE" is a white house near Tofutsu Lake. There are 5 beds in the first floor. Bed room is made of tatami(japanese cultural floor)A calm room with a feeling that a deer appears. Tofutsu Lake is a wetland registered in the Ramsar Convention. Many wild birds visit there. Please also use for bird watching. Touring or driving people are also welcome because my house is near the national highway that goes to Shiretoko.

A beautiful house families and groups of friends

This is a beautiful one-story house located in the center of Shari Town, right next to Shiretoko Shari Station. There are two Western-style rooms and one Japanese-style room. It is equipped with a washer/dryer, an air conditioner with sterilization function, and a hypochlorous acid sterilizer. We have also set up a working space, so it is an environment where you can stay for a long time while working. In August 2024, we installed air conditioners in the bedrooms!

Tida House (Hand-made strawbale house!) ティダハウス

We are at country site surrounded by potato fields. You can stay at self-builded straw bale house. We have two singl beds, and very simple cooking facilities, toaster, microwave oven and a refrigerator. Tida House is good for remote work! You can watch movies by Netflix.
