Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Shandaken

WOW, had a great stay in a perfect location. What a cute cozy litter home, with plenty of amenities. The setting was very beautiful, close to some beautiful hiking and set in a scenic valley. The towns nearby were perfect to grab a bite or explore for a quite afternoon out. I would highly recommend staying here and looking forward to coming back myself.

Pretty house and incredible setting. Hot tub and fire pit were beautiful and we absolutely loved the walk from the house to the creek and spent a long time picnicking and just enjoying the rocks and water by the bank of the creek. The place was smaller than we expected from the photos and tight for 2 families- we were 4 adults and 2 kids total. Host was very responsive and helpful. Thanks for a beautiful weekend getaway!

What an amazing stay ! David was super attentive and helpful from inception . A one of a kind host . Me and my family had the please of staying in David’s beautiful home to spend the holiday of thanksgiving and what an experience it was . From the warm cozy cabin feeling , to the luxury of the heated indoor pool and sauna . This was truly a remarkable and beautiful experience for the ages. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a calm getaway in a very quite town where your only true surrounding are the beauty of nature. Thanks again to David and his team for an amazing experience , and we’ll be looking forward to staying here again in the near future . Go ski season !

This place was absolutely wonderful for my Fiancé and I, unfortunately the lake was frozen because of the weather but we will definitely be renting in the near future for we had an amazing time. The kitchen was FULLY stocked for exactly what we needed and we felt right at home… definitely worth it. I advise if you want to get away to some privacy with a beautiful lake access and Jacuzzi this is definitely the spot

I don't think one could find better hosts than Jesse and Lauren. They were hospitable and flexible as well as clear, warm and prompt communicators. And Pine Haven, their home, is simply beautiful. The setting is like a lovely private park, and the home itself is practically a resort. Accompanying all the luxury features is an equally special attention to all the thoughtful details. To stay at Pine Haven is to be transported. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

We booked last minute and were very happy with our stay. We felt right at home and had such a nice time with our sons. The beds are comfortable and the entire house is kept clean and neat. There was a great little place literally steps away to get a nice meal and a beverage or two. We stayed in bottom level. Jaimin was very easy to communicate with.

Couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful place to spend Christmas! Our stay was so lovely, this place is gorgeous, has so many amenities and perks and is in such a stunning location. It’s completely private and isolated, but the drive to the town, stores, skiing is only a few minutes away. This place is perfect overall, if you’re in the area I cannot recommend booking this place enough!! The host was also incredible responsive and helpful, he responded to me so quickly any time I reached out and walked me through everything. Thank you for the most incredible few days!

This is our second stay since March, and it’s just as great as we remembered. The place is pristine clean, and the location is perfect for easy access to the ski resort. We’ll definitely be back for our next ski trip!

Place was amazing! Wood fireplace was a nice touch and Hosts were easy to get in touch with for anything, I highly recommend staying here!

My boyfriend and I had a great time! The view was stunning in the snow, and the place was gorgeous. Theresa and Ben were so kind and welcoming, we’d definitely go back!

John's place was perfect for visiting my in laws in Kingston. The gps got us exactly where we needed to go even though he provided excellent directions. Check in was easy and the place was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Nicely decorated with everything you need without an overwhelming amount of stuff or knickknacks. Anything we needed was easy to find. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean. Would stay here again!

5 Stars! Perfect space for our visit to Saugerties to spend Thanksgiving with family. Location was ideal for our visit and the apartment was immaculate and cozy! Had the opportunity to quickly meet our kind hosts. We will be back. Thank you.

First off, Kim was nothing short of amazing. I stayed in her place for three days and no matter what time I reached out to her I received a quick response. As far as the property, it was everything advertised. When I arrived at the property, I felt like I’ve been there before because it looked exactly like the pictures. The Hot tub was so nice and clean. On the inside, the place was so clean, in the dining area the setup of the table was decorated. She had extra towels, thankfully because I didn’t think to pack any. Overall it was an amazing trip, if I ever have to stay in Bloomington area again she’s my first option.

Cozy barn loft with a great view and setting. Nicole was very responsive and helpful. The hot tub felt great after a day of hiking. Would definitely come back.

Great place to stay. Easy travel to Cooperstown and the town of Oneonta. Major shopping nearby. Cute home nestled among other homes and a small farm. We felt right at home. Cozy yet spacious. It's close to family, so we will stay again.

We had an amazing weekend at the tiny cabin! The location was serene, offering the perfect escape from the daily life. The cabin itself was thoughtfully designed, and utilized efficiently and tastefully. Emily was always available, great hosts. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to recharge and enjoy some peaceful solitude. We'll definitely be back!

Our extended weekend stay was perfect - peaceful and relaxing. Everything was just easy, with thoughtful touches throughout, like a dog bed and a food and water dish for our pup. The firewood ring on the porch was full and the was a bunch of kindling next to it, and there were matches, some newspaper, and starter sticks next to the wood stove. Having coffee, tea, and creamer provided along with cooking oil and some spices was nice as well. We took the host's advice and hiked the Kelly Hollow Trail, and had a lovely dinner at Oda Wine Garden, less than 5 minutes away (highly recommend). It's no surprise that this is a rare find and is usually booked. We hope to visit again!

My wife and I enjoyed Johanna’s cozy cabin very much. It was very warm and tidy and it was easy to get around to attractions nearby. We loved hanging out by the fire and watching DVDs and using the well-appointed kitchen. A great stay!

It was very cold during when we were there; and the little cabin was splendidly warm, cozy, and quiet. We came up to Narrowsburg for the hiking and the restaurants; both were excellent. Highly recommend the Tusten Mountain Loop hike a few miles south of the cabin. And for restaurants Tusten Cup is great for early morning breakfast-- good spicy chai lattes, and excellent breakfast burritos. The Laundrette is awesome for lunch (delicious pizzas and salads)-- my wife is vegan and has celiac allergy (GF) and she loved the food at both places. For dinner we did not go to Heron despite hearing great things, instead we went to Tiki 182 one night for Sushi (on par with mid-level NY-- does not rank with top tier NYC omakase at Sushi Seki or Sushi of Gari), but for ~$200 incl drinks was good-- Temaki are the best items on the menu. Then we went to Honesdale, PA, visited Native for drinks and snacks, and Dyberry Forks for dinner-- both were great, Dyberry Forks totally took care of vegan/GF

The cabin is beautiful. Very bright and clean. Great views of the fall foliage from everywhere! Everything worked well as we made use of the kitchen several times. Everything we needed was there. We also took Victoria's recommendations of a couple of places places to go for dinner and cocktails. Both were spot on. Went for a few hikes, beautiful piece of our planet in this area. I made use of the firepit a couple of nights, very convenient.

This cabin is the perfect getaway! The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment. The sauna and jacuzzi were incredible perks that made our stay even more special. The attention to detail in the cabin was great, and everything was clean and well-maintained. I truly appreciated the cozy yet modern vibe of the space. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene escape. I’d definitely come back!

What a magnificent spot! If nothing else, the creek next to the house was worth the price of admission. But the whole experience was fantastic. We filled the place up, and had a dozen more family members come for Thanksgiving dinner. It was cozy and the extra kitchen in the cabin was a godsend. We loved being there, and everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you!
