Cottage vacation rentals in Seymour Lake

This cute lake cottage is the perfect place to get away and enjoy everything the lake and area has to offer. We watched sunsets, star gazed (saw the Milky Way), enjoyed the boats that were available to use and mainly hung out on the sun porch that had great views of the lake.

Ryan was a great host and communicated well before and during the stay. We had no issues during our stay but knew Ryan was only a message away and would address what we needed. Location was perfect for our ski trip to Jay. Restaurants in the area were good but the whole town closes pretty early. Not much of a night life but that was ok. Would recommend and stay again. Thanks Ryan!

Lyndsay and Barry were quick to respond and very welcoming. They checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure we were alright, and enjoying our visit. The home was extremely clean and the view was beautiful.

The location was beautiful, and the house was very clean. It’s a good spot to get away from everything but close enough to great destinations.

We spent 3 nights at Nella and James's house while we skied at Jay Peak and Burke Mountain. A winter storm hit while we were there and we had to stay put for a day. The house was warm and cozy, and we watched the storm through all the all the windows. We took a long walk and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. It is definitely a place that we would like to visit again. James and Nella were very responsive and helpful!

Great place to stay when visiting Owl's head. close to mountain but secluded and quiet. Cozy, warm and pleasant. Exactly as described.

We enjoyed our stay at Julien, and Melanie's house. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and it was convenient to Jay Peak, and Owls Head, We enjoyed walking to the local restaurants , and businesses in Mansonville. The locals were welcoming, and we would look froward to another visit. Highly recommend!

Great stay in a fully equipped cottage. Evenings around the fire are much appreciated. And a little more from the arrival, a very fresh sangria to start the stay well. We will come to the chalet

Stayed here for my honeymoon with clear instructions from my wife to find somewhere near the water, more trees than people and it had to have kayaks and Nancy’s place fitted the bill exactly. Right on the lakeshore this place is absolutely adorable and while some others have commented that it was a little dated or the kitchen was too small that didn’t phase us in the slightest. Everyone we met and everywhere we walked, people were friendly and cheerful and it was great to be able to simply chill out in the garden and greet the people on the lake or cook dinner outside on the grill with no pressure, no noise and just enjoy watching the chipmunks, squirrels and birds on the lake and admire the scenery. We think we may even have spotted a mink around the property. Looking for somewhere to escape the world, then this is it. Everything you could ever want is there in house and we wanted for nothing. It’s charming, it’s peaceful and very, very relaxing. We’ll definitely be back soon 💯🎯👍🏼

We had a lovely stay at the Whimsy Cottage for a weekend ski trip at Jay Peak ~15 mins away. The cottage was comfortable with lots of space, kitchen amenities for cooking, and appreciated the extra linens/ bedding. Located right off the highway, but was not too noisy at night except for the occasional passing of cars. Enjoyed the easy access of the gas station/ deli across the street for breakfast sandwiches and limited groceries. Sarita was a very responsive and friendly host, would recommend.

We were in a bind and couldn’t get to our house in the evening of our arrival. David was amazing and very quick to respond. He helped us find the house easily and was very helpful for the whole weekend! I highly recommend David and this property!

What a great gem! We went set out on an adventure for our daughter’s birthday and this place looked amazing and it was! It’s easy to get to. The house is stunning. Amazing for a large group with kids like us. Close to Stowe and surrounding fun places. I had to communicate with Josh and he was quick at getting back to me. We would love to stay here again!!

What a wonderful stay we had at Burke Mountain! Our son was racing there so we made a family weekend of it. Terrilyn was super communicative and provided clear instructions from booking through checkout. The cottage was exactly as described and perfect for my husband, myself and our three children and our dog. The place was very well maintained and clean for a rental that allows pets, complete with cleaning pads for pups paws and towels for drying after being outside. It was so nice to not have a TV and instead sit by the fire, listening to music while our boys really enjoyed playing with the legos there as part of the games/entertainment. We loved being so close to the mountain. It was the perfect weekend stay for our introduction to Burke—we will be back!

The place was perfect for a winter wonderland getaway! Extremely cozy, close to town, and a comfortable ride to Jay. Kitchen was fully stocked and the place overlooks a beautiful lake. Great place to stay with my two boys and pup. Thank you John and Gwen!

We loved staying at Julia's place! The house was very clean and just the right size for our family of 5, with multiple living areas for us to spread out. The warm comforters and comfortable beds were excellent. The kitchen had everything we needed. Julia was very responsive to any questions we had. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to Willey's store for supplies and gifts. We also walked to the beach for a few sunsets which was spectacular! Craftsbury Nordic Center was about 20 minutes drive away and we skied there every day. Thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us. We would love to stay again!
