Denise’s place was wonderful. It was clean, spacious and peaceful. I was able to work remotely and relax afterwards. I visit the area often and was looking for a place to go that was peaceful and private and this place was just that . Would definitely return. If you need to get away to relax this is the place for you . There are many things to do close by but I didn’t take advantage of them this time. Denise’s communication and responsive was also a bonus and much appreciated

Amazing stay. My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet weekend away from DC to rest and reconnect. This was perfect. Remote enough to give us the quiet but close enough to downtown Annapolis where there are wonderful restaurants and parks to walk along the Chesapeake. Michael was an ideal host with regular communication ahead of time to let us know how to get there and what to do if we had any issues. Would highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful time staying at the Lazy Crab. The house fit our needs perfectly. For a family with a 2 & 4 year old, that isn’t easy to do. The house was clean and we appreciated the extra blankets for the cool nights. The kitchen was also well stocked for cooking at home. If you’re looking for a safe and quiet neighborhood the Lazy Crab is the place for you and your family. Danielle was also a very responsive and friendly host. She even let us leave our bags at the house after check in as our flight was later in the day. Overall, this was a great experience for our first Airbnb as a family and we hope to make this a getaway for us in the future. Thank you Danielle!

Jennifer's cottage is great! It is quiet, peaceful, and private but still right in the middle of everything - a 30 second walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Would also be really convenient for folks visiting the Naval Academy or St Johns. We had a great time and will almost certainly be back.

A perfect little home away from home! My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and felt extremely comfortable the whole time. The little touches (labeled guides, coffee options, guest book) created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and we were very grateful for an experience that aligned exactly with what we expected. Perfect stay for a quick little get away. 10 minutes to the metro with 20 or so minute ride to D.C. Place had everything you could practically need. Walkable location to restaurants, shopping right in downtown Alexandria. Also having a garage was a huge plus, as you didn’t have to work about parking downtown.

We stayed at this property in December for a wedding with a group of friends, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful, clean, and the perfect size for what we needed. It was well-equipped with all the amenities, which made our stay comfortable. There were a few minor issues worth mentioning. We encountered a bit of a ladybug situation upstairs, likely due to the sudden cold snap. While unexpected, we took it as a sign of luck for the wedding weekend! The main concern was the temperature when we arrived—it was absolutely freezing, and it took most of the night to warm up the entire house. While we understand the reasoning, starting at 60-65°F would have been much more comfortable upon arrival and would have made our first night of sleep more comfortable. Despite these small hiccups, we had a great stay and would recommend this property for its charm and convenience!

My husband and I enjoyed another wonderful stay in Overton Cottage. Absolutely everything about this home is perfect for us, including the location, which gives us many opportunities for kayaking. We can walk to the Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge, as well. The cottage itself is amazing and we always feel that we are slaying in the home of friends who have carefully chosen each decorative item, rather than a home that is clearly designed only for rental. We will be back!

What an absolute treat to stay at the Cottage at Whitehall. We had such a lovely time, we stayed an extra day! Ty & Susie are gracious hosts and we were so excited to get a tour of the mansion and explore the grounds. The private beach at the back of the cottage is phenomenal, please take the canoe out - or even go for a swim. The sand is silky and soft, it was like a giant swimming pool nearly all to yourself. My husband enjoyed the canoe immensely (the waves scare me, so it wasn’t too much for me / but if you canoe out on the Meredith River it’s much calmer). If you fish - bring your fishing gear!! (Check local laws first, of course) Absolutely do not hesitate to book here if you have the chance, highly recommended 😍

The cottage was a perfect place for a relaxing anniversary getaway. Beautiful views, peaceful setting. House is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. Easy to launch canoe /kayaks from the dock, campfire by the water watching the moonrise over the water. Perfect, would love to return. Highly recommend.

We had a great time during Plebe Parent Weekend, staying at Martin's house with our plebe and his friends. The house was clean, well-equipped, and felt like home. The breathtaking views from the house and its decks were stunning, and having private water access with kayaks available kept our group entertained. Martin was extremely friendly and generously met our every need with enthusiasm. We can't wait to be back!

Katie’s place was a wonderful place for a weekend reunion with friends. The house was clean, comfortable and pretty - exactly as advertised and as shown in the pictures. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. The outdoor garden and pool were lovely and had lots of comfortable seating areas. The house was an easy drive to Annapolis for restaurants and shopping but had a great movie watching set up that would be great for a rainy day. Nearby nice grocery store.

Great location and lovely views. Comfortable house with lots of amenities and character. You can see that family that grew up in the house and that adds to the coziness (at least for me). One thing to note is that there isn’t a private dock but a shared one with the community and I didn’t want to chance carrying a kayak down the steps. This isn’t a negative just something to note as I wasn’t clear about that from the listing. Truly a peaceful place!

My family really enjoyed our stay! The most amazing part of the home is the private beach right outside your back door! Absolutely beautiful to wake up to the sunrise each morning. The location was great, quick drive into town (under 10 minutes) where you have access to incredible restaurants, pubs, shopping and the Naval Academy rich with history. Also easy access to supermarkets, pharmacies…etc. this was our first trip to Annapolis and the house and location did not disappoint. The hosts were very kind and responsive and the house felt very cozy with lots of natural light and amenities.

Mike and Melinda’s place was a quiet, beautiful retreat surrounded by nature and exactly what we were looking for! We even got a visit from a bald eagle! The space was thoroughly appointed (as listed) and the attention to detail was impressive. The welcome basket was filled with local goodies and we very much appreciated the thorough written instructions and recommendations for local activities and restaurants. Although the cottage was close to the main house its orientation makes it very private. Winter weather cooperated and we even enjoyed a private romantic firepit! Everything was included of course - even the s’more kit. Would definitely stay again and couldn’t ask for better hosts!
