Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Setesdal

The house is as charming as in the photos. The kitchen is well equipped. The hot tub is incredible with the view. The ski trail and hiking trails are within walking distance. Games are on site. You don't need anything. The hosts are very friendly and respond immediately. Definitely recommended.

Great cabin, great host!

Excellent house near the ski slope at the bottom of the mountain. That also means that during the day the sun does not shine on the terraces. The house is well decorated, feels comfortable when it has warmed up (it was -23C) and was spacious enough for the six people we were with. Two cars fit well with the house. The road was kept neatly snow-free. There were no appliances broken, everything was tidy and we would book it again. Great place, good host, nothing to complain about.

Marko and Christina are particularly friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed their beautiful home. The house is nicely and tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. It is in a very nice place with great views over the valley. There are also many activities to do in the area; skiing, cross-country skiing, sledding, etc. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice cabin and efficient communication ahead of time and along the way.

We stayed with two families, 4 adults and 4 children, in this beautiful house. We felt very comfortable. The house was handed over to us very clean and the amenities were also top. There are enough plates, pans, etc. We stayed at the house over New Year's Eve and got both very cold days and some snow. The house is very well prepared for this. Despite the hillside location, the path to the house is also easily accessible in snow, as it is cleared by a snow blower several times a day. The sauna and hot tub are real highlights even in winter. We explored the surroundings for walking and sledding. We had a really great few days and would be happy to come back to this beautiful house.

Me and seven friends very much enjoyed our stay in Lars's cabin. Plenty of space for all of us. Best part: Ski-in, ski-out for both cross country and downhill skiing!

Great and cozy cabin, everything worked as it should. The double bed was very narrow for 2 people. Fun with touring in the living room. Short distance to the slalom slope and cross country tracks. Cozy hostess who allowed us to send check out since the first day had miserable weather and the second day brilliant sun and the opportunity for a day of skiing. Thanks for us, we'd love to be back.

It was our second holiday in Rauland and we felt very comfortable in Richard and Monica's house again. We were lucky with the weather. Every day we could enjoy the view of the fascinating mountains from the large terrace. The house is very cosy and the perfect place to relax after a ski tour. Richard and Monica are wonderful hosts and always very helpful. The central location of the house is ideal for winter sports and excursions in the surrounding area. We made it to the highest mountain Gaustatoppen this time and it was a great experience. Rauland is always worth a visit and we would love to come back.

Great stay at Rauland, a little bit colder than the rest of south Norway, but central towards many interesting spots around. Good communicating and friendly host.

Easy check-in and great communication with the hostess. The apartment is right in the children's slope. Child friendly. Very poor internet, but for us it was fine that has our own available.

A really nice cabin that was tastefully decorated. Well-equipped kitchen and nice rooms. Very fast and stable internet. The cabin is beautifully located overlooking the lake and with a nice distance to cross-country skiing trails. Snow removal several times a day. The cabin is cozy with many nice and quirky things that we chose to put away a little, as our grandchildren of 2 and 3 years also thought it was nice and exciting :) We had some lovely days in the cabin and the area and would love to come again.

Great, spacious and very well equipped log cabin. The cabin is close to Haukelifjell ski center and a fantastic mountain world and has parking space for 3-4 cars. Sveinung had arranged clearing and it was definitely required. We rented the cabin with an annex and it gave us 7 men very ample bolting space - we could easily be twice as many. There is a very well equipped kitchen and it suited us foody guys very well. The only thing we couldn't do was the stomp. It probably requires even more patient and prolonged firing than the 6 hours we spent. Anyway an incredibly great stay and a nice and accommodating host.

Our stay in the lovely large bright mountain cabin with 4 lovely bedrooms, large home as well as 2 bathrooms and an extra toilet was absolutely perfect for the family with 3 small children. The large bright living room with lots of floor space as well as space on the large sofa allowed everyone to enjoy the cabin. The view from the cabin was uniquely beautiful, and with just about 200 meters to the lift as well as the ski rental, we could ski in and out. We also found the cross-country trail right outside the door☀️🤗. The cabin was well equipped with 2 baby weekend beds as well as a high, chair which we really appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped. I would highly recommend this cottage in the central location. We'd love to come again 🤗 Thank you to the hosts Caroline and Kristine who were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions☺️

Rented the same cabin again this year, and as last time, everything was in order. Tidy and nice cabin with everything you need. Short way to the alpine slope is a big plus. Feel free to come back a third gong😃

Great place and beaut view from the terrace. Nearby crosscountry tracks, and only 10 min drive to Slottet. Trygve was always responsive on text and answered immediately. All in all a great stay!

Really nice cabin, with a personal feel. Not clean rental, but personal touches. Very friendly host and easy access to the slopes. Definitely recommendable!

We had an amazing weekend in the woods. This cabin is the best way to spend a few days away from all distractions. the scenery was stunning, the drive through the forest was a moderate challenge due to the snow, but the summit and the view from the mountain was worth every tiredness. we also had 2 amazing mountain leaders Caspar and Zen that took us from Oslo to..... and lead us also ti the summit. Caspar loves the nature and he knows every cm of the area , so even if you dont have transportation you can arrange with a aome extra charge to take you from Oslo to the point or only to lead you to the summit,so can live this surealisticly journey that will leave you with the most wholesome feelings.

The cabin is very nice and cozy. It's new and it has everything you need, especially the kitchen. Torun is very friendly and responsive. She gave us clear instructions, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!
