Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Senegal

This was my third week at Daphnes, just kept extending our stay because it just has everything we needed and more. I liked the space, the house was cool and airy enough we didn’t use the aircon or fans. I’m quite a foodie and the kitchen is perfectly adequate to make delicious meals from local ingredients. The blender/ hob/ oven all fine. Plenty of cutlery and crockery , bakeware, serving platters and gadgets. Fridge/freezer nice and large. Coffee percolator- 🙏Thank you. Abundance of options for dining, breakfast on the covered patio, lunch & afternoon tea in the front garden. Dinner at the dining table either on the main floor or in the first floor lounge/ diner den( has sink)overlooking sea. I haven’t slept and relaxed so well in years. So many little extra touches that just made the stay so good. A real homely stay for peace and tranquility. Loved the hula hoop!!!! I’m sure I will return.

The four of us had an incredibly nice stay at Eric's place. Communication was easy. By car, everything was very quickly accessible. Cheich, cleaned the place daily and was super nice and helpful. The pool and roof terrace invited us to relax. Everything matched the photos. We would come back back.

I went with my wife for a week. The home was spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything was just like described on Airbnb. Mariem was very helpful and attentive to our slightest attentions. She was very attentive with us, we loved it a lot. The neighborhood was peaceful. The house combines modernity and nature (fruit trees, geese, etc.).

Isabelle's house is a peaceful harbor. You will be woken up by the birds and enjoy the calm that reigns. Thanks to Ousmane, we were able to enjoy two beautiful visits. We really enjoyed our stay.

Overall the villa is very clean nice pretty and lots of greenery and greenery. The rooms are spacious and thoughtful, sunbeds with nice breizh towels😉, a large kitchen and beautiful relaxation areas Pierre and Astou very kind and responsive We had a pleasant stay with the family.

Great stay. The flat is really nice and well located. No elevator but the view is really great. We enjoyed the stay and Pape is very welcoming.

Incredible stay! First, Ndeye is an extremely communicative and responsive host - was so easy to get in touch to reserve the apartment, and any questions she was quick to respond. The apartment is gorgeous, tons of natural sunlight, a beautiful balcony, clean and spacious living room, and pristine bathroom. The kitchen is well lit and all new appliances, with every cooking supply you could possibly need. Bed is comfortable and I slept very well. Great closet space with a clothes hanging rack too. Plus an enormous full body mirror in the hallway. You’re on the 7th floor in a nice and well known building in Dakar with security and comfort all around. Tons of restaurants, grocery stores, markets nearby, with the Corniche Est just 10 mins away with breathtaking views. Highly recommend and will be back for sure.

The apartment is spacious and bright, offering a pleasant and cozy setting. It is fully equipped with all the necessary kitchen utensils, making it ideal for cooking. In addition, it has two toilets, adding to the convenience of the space. The host is very responsive, understanding and accommodating, having even allowed a late checkout, which was much appreciated. In short, it's a place where you feel welcome and that perfectly meets the needs of guests. I recommend it!

We had an amazing time at René’s flat! It was very secure, in a great location and so spacious! The flat itself was beautifully decorated with lots of amenities and we felt right at home. René was really helpful and responsive no matter how late we messaged and the caretaker was very friendly and attentive! The location was great and it was very easy to get around to places in Dakar. I would definitely recommend this place and when I return to Senegal, I will be back at this flat! Thanks again for welcoming us into your home and for the amazing communication! Especially as three woman travelling together, we couldn’t have picked a better flat! Also the WiFi was amazing and I was able to work from the flat and submit my assignments with no issues! Great host with a nice apartment. The area is pretty loud and lively which didnt bother us personally but might be a point to consider for people who put emphasis on quietness.

Had a great time at this Airbnb apartment. The host was very responsive and professional, providing clear instructions before and during my stay, which made my arrival and settling in very easy. The accommodation is in a great location, close to restaurants, a hypermarket, and several banks, which was very convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and the building is well secured, which gave me a sense of tranquility throughout my stay. The only small inconvenience was the lack of mosquito netting for the bedroom window, but it didn't really affect my comfort, it's just a minor detail. In summary, I am very satisfied with this experience and highly recommend this listing!

Had a nice stay at Atsede Maryam's place. Yoff is a nice neighborhood and the beach is around the corner from the apartment. The apartment itself was very spacious, and there was plenty of kitchen equipment for if you wanted to make something yourself.

Nice apartment but not much natural light as it's north facing on the ground floor surrounded by low rise apartment blocks. But very convenient location to explore Almadies area for restaurants or Île Ngor, museums and galleries in Ngor. The beach on the island is much better than the ones along the coast. There is also Cop21 bar and restaurant for live music that is not so far away that we walked to. And there is local market and corner several corner shops close by.
