Great winter getaway. The cottage was cute, cozy and clean! The description of the cottage doesn’t do it justice as there are four nice bedrooms (the fourth one is just tough to see in the pictures) and although the water isn’t potable, there were jugs already there for us upon arrival. Only thing missing was a coffee maker, but otherwise wonderful stay!

Had a beautiful and relaxing girls weekend. The cottage was so pretty and neat. Hot tub and sauna on site, Netflix available. I would definitely recommend and I would love to go back in the summer and enjoy all the amenities offered!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kanin Bjorn, so much so that we booked our next stay as soon as we got home! Cassidy is a delight to book from and we’d stay in any of her properties again in an instant. The entire place was exquisitely finished and perfectly equipped. The little touches showed how much thought was put in to making sure the guests feel at home and have a relaxing stay. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy the perfectly peaceful and private cabin again soon!

This place was a perfect winter retreat. A super easy drive from the city. The cabin is situated on a very private lot but still within walking distance of a small town. The amenities were just as pictured. The sauna and hot tub were both beautiful and easy to use. The place was clean and tidy. Kate was very easy to reach and communicate with. She was also very proactive in answering all of our questions in the check in manuals so there was little need to contact her anyway. Would definitely book again.

Wanda was super accommodating and helpful. Even the fire was stoked prior to getting there. We were there during a snowstorm, and there was a plow service that cleaned up the drive for us right after. The property was beautiful and the walking trails were nice as well. Even had a run in with an Owl! Highly recommend for a get away.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The accomodation was brilliant and even better was the gentle reminders and encouragement to slow down, switch off and relax! Just what we needed! Melissa and Greg are on site but we didn't see them. it was great to know they were available if needed but let us just settle in without disruption. very communicative, helpful and friendly!

Pure Magic… We just returned from a wonderful stay over nye at Dan & Sophia’s amazing A-Frame. The photos and description do not do the place justice, and Dan went to meticulous detail when building this dream destination. Peaceful and serene, Big Bear Cabin will always have a special place in our hearts and we hope to one day return.

We stayed at Norman & Ruth’s place Friday - Sunday. We were welcomed by Norman upon arrival, he gave us a tour and showed us all the in and outs of the cottage. Norman and Ruth were kind enough before arrival to provide us with local events happening the weekend we were staying. The cottage was COZY!!! No wifi- the perfect place to disconnect. Which we did lots as it rained through out our stay, we had plenty to do to keep us busy. (Many board games, lots of movies, fully functional kitchen). On dry time- We took the kayaks out to the mini private beach is perfect for some romance. Yard games, and hot tub to enjoy while the weather was great. Beautiful fire pit to get cozy at. Overall we felt comfortable here, it was clean, (not buggy!!), and we even tried the locals pizza - bedrock cafe, would recommend! Thank you Norman & Ruth for an amazing stay. We will be back!!

Such an amazing house, so beautiful. The nature is one to take in and not to far from the town.

Thank you for helping our family have a wonderful Christmas. There was a beautiful large Christmas tree set up in the living room, and when tied in with the other Christmas decorations throughout the cottage gave our family so much comfort and pleasure. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook with. All the little things were provided and so appreciated. The beds and bed linens were perfect. The bathrooms are modern and well appointed. The most important thing to me personally was how clean it was. I cannot tolerate greasy doorknobs, dirty floors, just grime in general and this cottage was just excellent and clean!!!! Thank you and definitely a five star stay!

My husband and I stayed here in the midst of an absolutely gorgeous fall weekend. We could not have gotten any luckier with the weather or the view of the forest, it was exactly what we were hoping for. Kristin, Chris and Charlie were welcoming and kept to themselves. They put out extra firewood in a wheelbarrow so it was easily accessible for us. Their property was absolutely gorgeous and exactly as the photos on the listing. The bed was so comfortable, both my husband and I had 2 great nights sleep and slept in. The hot tub was spacious and so enjoyable, I believe we were in and out at least 6 times. The instructions for the toilet and the rest of the cabin were easy to follow and we ran into 0 issues. We will certainly be back, if Kristin and Chris will have us 😊👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect spot- beautiful sunsets over the lake. Good swimming and nice dock area. Cottages were lovely inside with everything we needed and beds were so comfortable. Had lots of fun campfires and there is a nice lawn between the cottages for activities and dog to explore. Would definitely like to come back- great time had by all!

Ben’s place was amazing. It was just what my wife and I needed for a little getaway from the city. So cute and cozy. It was nice and warm in it too, despite being dead winter when we went. Our dog loved the place also. Ben was also a great and accommodating host, and responded so quickly to everything. Definitely would come again and absolutely would recommend!

This cabin in the Buckhorn area is a wonderful retreat with classic cabin ambiance inside and cottage lifestyle vibes outside. A beautiful home with multiple levels and beds that works well for a group to enjoy a meal together or take in the views and also works if some with to lay low while others want to have lovely conversation as the lower level is more isolated. The locals are also extremely friendly! Khristel was extremely responsive when I had questions and the well presented guide was helpful and made the whole process an easy experience allowing myself and guests to just meet right to relaxing! would love to go in the summer to see what the different season is like!

Kim’s place was absolutely amazing. It was the most peaceful and private stay I have had. The house was so clean and tidy. We had everything and more already in the cabin. I will be going back to have another weekend getaway. This place is a gem and you would not regret booking it. I was so relaxing being there. The cabin install felt like a home and being so close to the lake the views were beautiful. I highly recommend staying here

We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

We wished we stayed longer! This cottage is absolutely stunning and we will definitely be coming back. The location is gorgeous, there couldn’t be anything to complain about! This cottage provided us with everything we needed or may have even forgotten back home! Yoni was a great host, I’ve never had an Airbnb host be so tentative to our needs!

i have been here 2 years in a row and had a great experience every time. Absolutely wonderful from the inside to the outside. I highly recommend staying here.

It is clear the owners have put a lot of care and thought to every aspect of a stay at their cottage. Outside, there were 3 canoes available with PFDs and paddles; the dock was perfect for fishing- we caught bass and sunfish, and catfish, plus we also swam too. Pool noodles and ample outdoor dock seating was also available. The outdoor seating and dining area was really wonderful and afforded a view of the river still but also surrounded by trees that sound so lovely in the wind. There are neighbors on either side but everyone keeps to their own and feels very private. The barbecue worked great and it was so thoughtful how there was a lighter and a spatula and tongs clean and provided for easy access. The place was stacked with things you may have forgotten at home like a post-swim q-tip or herbal tea. The forest across the street is uninhabited and was great for mushroom foraging. I would 100% recommend this place as it had exceeded our expectations at every turn.

The place was more than what we had expected. Everyone in the community was nice and welcoming. The place had different types of activities so you are never bored. This is definetly a place my friends and I want to come to again in the future.

Jennifer was a wonderful host. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. My wife and I really enjoyed our short stay and will be back again in the future as a family with the kids. We had the best sleep in a long time on the cabin bed, it was so comfortable.
