Our stay at Christian's cottage was great. It is beautifully furnished and there are all the amenities you need. We would really recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a magnificent and quiet Finland experience.

Beautiful house by the frozen river. You will feel at home and you really have everything at your disposal, there is nothing missing. The dependency with the barbecue and spa is just exceptional, nothing better when you come home after a cold day. Close to kemi and 1h25 from Rovaniemi.

This home is extremely clean, and exactly like the pictures shown. It is very comfortable with beautiful surroundings, a fire pit at the water side, outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna. The house was lovely and warm despite the -29 degree temperatures outside. We stayed here as a party of 6 adults and 2 children and loved it. The house is approximately 1hr 20 mins drive from Santa Park and Santa Village. There is a supermarket and pizza takeaway approx. 10 mins drive. We visited Old Pine Husky Lodge during our stay (approximately 40 mins drive away) and would definitely recommend! Anna was responsive to all of our questions beforehand and our stay was extremely enjoyable! Thank you!

I highly recommend your stay here!!! Johanna is extremely hospitable and helpful. She answered every question we had in a very short time. On a night when we couldn't light the fireplace (totally our fault) she came at short notice to help us. The next day, despite the harsh weather conditions, she sent us wood and hoses to heat the hot pot. She never turned us away. We spent 4 wonderful days. It is very quiet and peaceful. You can only hear the beautiful flow of the river. There is a traditional Finnish barbecue with an outdoor view of the lake and an indoor traditional Finnish barbecue. And a sauna! During the day you can take peaceful walks and in the evening you can enjoy the incredible northern lights :)

The house was a wonderful place to stay with a young family. Sami and Marita were so helpful and gave us so many useful recommendations, there were sledges for the children to use outside and they allowed us to try skiing too! The house was beautiful and so clean, with everything we needed and lovely drinks and biscuits for us to enjoy. It was so spacious, warm and cosy inside with beautiful outdoor space to enjoy the snow outside. We were also able to enjoy amazing experiences like a husky ride booked through Sami and Marita and a snowmobile ride with marshmallows and sausages on the fire afterwards! It really was the most special place to stay with wonderful, helpful hosts who also gave us lots of information about where to go and what to do in Finland- we learned a lot! A week we will always remember! Thank you Sami and Marita! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great stopover for our ice breaker trip the next morning. The owner was very responsive on our arrival and toured us around the house. We had the sweet welcoming treats too..very helpful and alert owners, when we were about to leave the house, the owner came to offer help to clear the ice on car window. He was helpful to handle the disposal of our spoilt luggage. Thanks for all the great support. We enjoyed our good night stay in their cottage.
