3B1B Hidden Gem with AC & Private Yard

eo and Vivian’s home was absolutely beautiful—airy, open, and thoughtfully designed. It had everything we needed for family dinners, plenty of entertainment options, and tons of great outdoor spaces to relax in. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the shower was so soothing—it felt like a little spa moment each day. I usually have a hard time getting comfortable while traveling, but I truly felt right at home here. We’ll definitely be back—no doubt about it! Thank you both so much for being such wonderful hosts!

Elegant PNW Waterfront Beach House with Pickleball

BrianRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We booked Chad’s house for a long weekend (mainly for the location on the water). Kayaking with the seals and sea lions was so cool! But the house was equally as impressive- and there was thought put into all aspects of the design and amenities. Chad was also a fantastic host. He was really communicative, and went the extra mile to make the stay special. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had on Airbnb!

Manjinder’s house was extremely spacious and suited our needs well. This is the second house we’ve used that Manjinder has owned. We appreciated his willingness to come change the heat for our ladies prayer retreat after 10pm. Manjinder you rock 💯🥳🥰

Gamble Bay

A friend and I were in the area for a three day class at Quilted Strait. Wendy’s place was easy to find as it is very well marked at the road. She met us upon arrival and showed us around. The accommodations are spacious, super clean and anything you might need is available. Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen items, shampoo, conditioner etc. She thought of everything. Also, there were fresh, delicious cookies waiting for us! I asked a few questions that I would have known the answer to if I hadn’t set a bag down on the table and covered up her provided information and she was always quick to kindly text back. The view here is lovely, big trees and a gorgeous bay. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful stay in this truly one-of-a-kind home where every detail felt thoughtfully curated. The beds were comfortable, and the entire space was very clean. The location was ideal—just a short walk to both the beach and town. Joe was an excellent communicator and made the entire experience enjoyable.

Spacious 6-Bed Family Retreat Near Golf Course

ShelbyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place was GREAT! So clean, big and spacious. Quick response, easy to work with. Definitely recommend and definitely book again. The only downfall of this abnb was they do not have a regular coffee maker, they only provide a kerig cups (which are super wasteful to the planet and there wasn't not enough for the amount of beds and people staying). Otherwise, it was a fantastic place to stay, highly recommend. Thank you!

Your guide to Seattle Waterfront

Welcome to Seattle Waterfront

The Seattle Waterfront has always been a great spot to soak up views of Puget Sound — where orcas, Giant Pacific octopus, and primitive sixgill sharks swim — as well as the often snow-crowned Olympic Mountains to the west. The city has been revitalizing this popular neighborhood since 2010, creating a promenade, rebuilding piers, and adding an elevated connection to Pike Place Market. The result? A destination that expands upon such popular attractions as the Seattle Aquarium, a Ferris wheel, seafood restaurants, and the free Olympic Sculpture Park along the Elliott Bay Trail, where temporary installations mingle with the park’s centerpiece, 38-foot-tall swoops of scarlet-painted steel that depict an eagle. This former industrial site now forms downtown’s largest green space, and includes a small beach and Chinook salmon habitat. Eventually the waterfront will be a lush, 20-acre park, complete with space for yoga, festivals, a playground, and ice skating rink.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Seattle Waterfront

The inland sea of Puget Sound helps maintain a mild maritime climate, perfect for exploring and outdoor adventures year-round. Despite its soggy reputation, Seattle is actually the nation’s 32nd-rainiest major metropolis, ranking well behind Boston, Houston, and Atlanta. The culprit behind these rumors: clouds, which shadow 226 days annually here. But when they roll back, July and August tend to be glorious — and drier than Phoenix, Arizona. Few sights can be beat when the “the mountain is out,” as the locals say when Mount Rainier can be clearly spotted from town. The 14,410-foot volcano appears to loom over the city, despite standing 80 miles southeast.

In terms of waterfront events, standouts include July’s Seafair — famed for its pirate antics, boat racing, air show, and torchlight parade. Over the holidays, the area lights up with the Christmas Ship Festival and Magic in the Market.

Top things to do in Seattle Waterfront

World Famous Giant Shoe Museum

Pike Place Market houses a peep show that reveals some of the most gargantuan footwear ever crafted. Only one of these shoes has been worn by a human, the world’s tallest man. Drop a few coins into this old fashioned circus display and marvel at his big brogue, alongside a five-foot-long wingtip from the 1920s and other curiosities.

Gum Wall

A candy mosaic brings pops of color to Post Alley under Pike Place Market. This guerrilla art work began organically in 1993, when theater-goers started crafting designs with their chewed gum while waiting for the doors to open. The Gum Wall is so popular it inspired a line of merchandise.

Neukom Vivarium

The Seattle Art Museum maintains a 60-foot decaying hemlock at the Olympic Sculpture Park. The artist encased this “charismatic” tree in a greenhouse to illustrate the life cycle of the region’s forests, where fallen “nurse logs” support insects, fungi, lichen, plants, and even other trees. Volunteers open the display on the weekends, and by appointment two weeks in advance.
