Brora Highlands cottage near great sandy beaches

RebeccaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a wonderful visit to Brora and this lovely cottage provided the perfect base. The house was in a fantastic location, being close to the shop, the two beaches and very peaceful. It was equipped with all we needed for a really comfortable time and Pepita was such a kind host, helping us settle in and feel a warm Highland welcome. Thank you! We really look forward to staying again.
A serene river scene captures a bridge with multiple arches spanning across calm waters. Lush green grasses and foliage line the riverbank, complementing the cloudy sky above. The structure is framed by trees that display early autumn colors.

Church Court Cottage

ScottRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Church was a great space to be in. It did exactly what we needed it to do for us. Smart well presented and clean. Shower switch was a game of hide and seek but one message to Kevin sorted this out (its in the cupboard opposite the bathroom on the right about waist height.) Good well insulated building which made it pretty hot to sleep in given that its summer when we visited. Maybe bring a fan. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom clean and spotless. Bedrooms were one double bedroom and 2 single beds in the other. Slightly changed from the description. All in all a good stay. Thank you for being so responsive throughout our booking.

The Coo Shed with private hot tub

GemmaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
my family and I loved the accommodation, it had everything! it had a lovely country setting however, not far away from the town itself (best of both worlds). the hoist was friendly and it was fantastic having the Highland cows within view. we loved the place and definitely will be back. (the fenced parking was an added bonus for the children to play at).

Large, Breathtaking Country Home on NC500

JuliaRating, 5 stars56 months ago
This was a lovely house and a good base for exploring Caithness. The house was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot. The house was lovely and warm to combat the chilly weather outside! Our hosts were friendly and check in / check out was simple. There was plenty of room for the 10 people in our party. Our children particularly enjoyed the sand dunes at Dunnet Bay and rock pooling at Ham Harbour - even in the rain. There was a nice walk from nearby Lybster Harbour along the cliff tops.

Gorgeous cosy yurt - sea views

KendallRating, 5 stars9 months ago
If you love nature and the environment, this is the place for you. Not only is the yurt surrounded by beauty, but it's clear the owners care deeply about maintaining, improving, and respecting the land around them. They have a strong ethos for reducing waste, not "fixing what's not broken", and being resourceful. The result is a unique, charming, and also functional space. Would definitely stay again!
