Beachfront vacation rentals in Sceale Bay

Our 2nd time use the place for our holiday. Daniel was great at communicating with us, especially when we had an issue with the water on our last night staying there. Because our 2nd time we knew what we expected and brought utensils ourselves. Maybe suggestions like the need to update the utensils and 2 tub washing machine is just hard work to use ... It is the perfect place to spend quality time with family and a lot to do if you like snorkelling, fishing, boating... The house just great for us with kids and dogs. Definitely will be back and we already thinking to book next trip at Daniel's place!

It was the perfect family gathering place where east met west half way for us all. It facilitated great relaxation sitting on the verandahs and just chatting, drinking and eating. Playing games and table tennis upstairs with the most incredible views, otherwise taking turns to cook and relax in the well equipped and open kitchen, dinning and lounge. Although off grid, the generator only kicked in for 5 mins with everyone keeping up with washing and running dishwasher daily. Arranging for Julie to supply sheets and towels worked like a charm. Venus Bay store was beautiful for drinks and toasties etc, fabulous walk around the heads and jetty. Port Kenny hotel was fabulous for a family meal. Recommend buying main supplies in Streaky Bay and top up with basics at Venus Bay. Dolphin overall is clean, beautiful and well stocked with all necessities. (No Covid shortage of toilet paper would occur 😉) Julie is a super host

Extensively renovated spacious farmhouse, Only a very short 5 mins drive to the town of Streaky Bay to visit cafes or shops or more and you are even closer to Back Beach Plus this property had its own private access to a beach close to back beach. Fast response times from host Nick. Clear check in instructions .I first visited this property as a child decades ago , and since then it has been upgraded significantly.

Secluded and a balance between modern and charm - great stay

This was our third time staying here, and it is absolutely amazing each time! The views are absolutely magical. The atmosphere is peaceful and breathtaking, making it the perfect escape from the everyday. What made this visit even more special was getting to share it with our fur baby. It’s such a joy to find a place that is not only stunning but also welcoming to pets. Every detail of our stay was perfect, from the cozy accommodations to the warm hospitality. We are so grateful for yet another unforgettable visit and can’t wait to return again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly special getaway!

What an amazing slice of Australia. We were blown away by how beautiful and peaceful it was. Very secluded, so if you want to escape, this is definitely the place to go. Great fishing off the beach. We had Dolphins in the bay nearly every day, which was amazing to see. The house is a lovely, and has everything you need. We will definitely come back. Thanks for sharing your amazing spot!

The unit is brand new and has been recently renovated. The unit suits one or two people well and is spacious and comfortable. It feels modern and clean. Check in and check out were simple. The host was communicative. The location is excellent. There is suitable, dedicated parking and easy access to the street if needed. We visited in the winter months and were very pleased with the price, especially given the exceptional state of the room. Our only concern upon booking the room was the large windows next to a walkway. Fortunately the curtains provide sufficient privacy and the walkway is only a thoroughfare for other guests - so is not too busy. Thus this concern did not form into an actual issue. Overall my partner and I were pleased and would stay again at the price we paid.

Comfortable shack for our family, amazing beach views and access which was wonderful especially with small children. Well resourced kitchen. Excellent supply of additional things eg shade tent, beach toys etc. Thank you Peter for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely Epic. Love this place. This place is truly for those who love nature, the environment, the ocean and utter seclusion. The host has really created a truly epic nest, a place that you can explore, lounge, rediscover yourself, a place you can reconnect with loved ones away from the hectic modern day world. We could not have asked for a better 3 nights, Day 1- check in, discover the best and a quick walk down the beach, dinner together, a few drinks on the deck. Day 2- the morning spent going to Venus Bay and Streaky bay. The afternoon back at MCB on the beach, perfect weather. Day 3 - morning spent on the beach, exploring rock pools then in the afternoon Mother Nature delivered an amazing thunder and lightning display from sunset into the night. Wow! The only problem… we had to leave and head back to reality… Thanks Gret and the MCB team. Truly amazing, we will be back!
