House vacation rentals in Scarborough

I rented a lot of AirBnB but Rose's house was the first thing I would like to live in. Met all our wishes and is a top house in a good neighborhood in Cape Town in terms of price quality. Rose is a real hostess and arranged everything perfectly for us. for our next trip to Cape Town, Rose's home will be the first thing we want arranged.

Really loved staying in the Oranjezicht neighborhood. Very convenient location to lion’s head, signal hill, table mountain, and beaches on the camps bay side. The house itself is great - beautifully decorated and great outdoor living space. Would stay again.

Great stay, beautiful, spacious, all amenities. Only issue with slow draining shower which they tried to fix immediately but still did not spoil our vacation. Hosts super helpful and friendly, also accommodating to our requests as we had little ones.

My family and I had wonderful 12 days at Daniel´s house. The whole communication before and during our stay was perfect. We we very well informed about the house, the surrounding, trip possibilities and restaurants. The location itself is perfect as you can walk (in 5 min) to Sea Point restaurants/stores and also hike to top of Lions or Signal Hills (c. 1,5h) The house was very clean and tidy, top furnished incl. (Apple) TVs, speakers etc. Pool and garden were also clean. We highly recommend the house for families. Thanks Daniel, for being a pleasant host!

Great place, great host, great experience.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Natalie’s home. It is in the perfect location in Hout Bay, a short walk to the beach and the main parade of wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. The house is beautiful, very spacious, modern and fully equipped with everything you need for a ‘arrive and go’ holiday. We cooked lovely meals in the fully equipped kitchen and the two bedrooms are super comfortable. Having private secure parking is a huge advantage in the area, as is having a private pool with amazing views over Hout Bay. We cannot wait to return! Thank you!

Pros: This is a beautiful apartment with a stunning rooftop terrace offering breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the colorful houses nearby. The location is convenient, with everything you need nearby, and the area feels relatively safe. The hosts were very friendly and quick to respond. Cons: The bathroom (shower and sink) and some of the furniture was a bit too fancy, meaning it was very cool but not as practical or comfortable. However, this was not an issue. All in all: I can recommend this apartment in Cape Town, and I would stay here again!

A safe and tranquil home away from home with the most amazing book selection. My only regret is not having enough time to get through atleast one of them.

Great location, very spacious for larger groups and super clean. This is a perfect place to stay in CT if you want to be close enough to walk to restaurants, bars, hikes, shopping, etc. The house is clean and spacious with everything you need for an exceptional holiday. Chris is very responsive and had a lot of great recommendations. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for a month at Nic's place and we really enjoyed it. Because of the high ceilings it feels very spacious and a lot of thought has been put into the interior. The neighborhood is very quiet and feels safe and with a cab ride of 5 min you're in the city centre. The kitchen is well equipped as well and it was a great place to work remotely for a month.

we were 8 family members coming from a road trip .tired and wanting an uncomplicated check in .. it was everything we wished for . plenty of room for us all . very nice bathrooms functional kitchen definitely recommend

This was the perfect place to spend a week in Cape Town. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The house has everything you could need and was like a home away from home, with a mountain as a backdrop. Paddy was extremely helpful. My parents did find the stairs leading to the bedrooms a bit steep but it was okay for us. Great spot to locate yourself to see all the sights of the fair Cape.

Tamsin’s place was a beautiful, gorgeously appointed place to stay. The verandah area and garden were delightful and peaceful with amazing flora and fauna and birds to watch! We had a wonderful time there - would highly recommend her home.

FABULOUSAbsolutely stunning view right on the sand. Ocean loudly crashed right in front. Mist was amazing & romantic. Jacuzzi feels like you’re on the ocean. Two great rooms each with stunning view, automated blinds and full bathrooms. Sand level bedroom also good enough with own patio and steps from the water. Granite tops in kitchen although appliances a bit old. Very responsive Security company 24 hours with alarm. Needs minimal attention and decluttering, but the BEST ocean stay we’ve ever had. Big enough for small family and comfortable lounge and great gas fireplace. Sound system too intricate to understand but was able to stream DSTV on the wifi. The area has signal issues now and again but was able to work & did zoom meetings. Lock up garage nice. No beach stairs though. Host sorted glitches immediately once we were there and surprised us with wine & chocolates in true SA style. You can’t go wrong with this place. We hope to be back soon and often. We’d even consider buying it!

A Gem of Hospitality: Tim’s Haven Tim proved to be an exceptional host, flexible and friendly. The house is intimate with plenty of amenities for cooking, and has an amazing pool area. The highlight, however, was the captivating sculpture garden and the serene chilling area with an open fireplace. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend Tim’s house for those in search of a truly intimate and quality stay.

We had a wonderful stay in August (winter, 8 days with 2 teenagers). The property is exactly as described and has everything you might need. The neighborhood feels safe and has many excellent restaurants within walking distance. It's a 3 minute walk to the ocean, 10 minute drive to the V&A and downtown, so a great location to explore Cape Town and surrounding areas. Jenny is an excellent host, friendly and quick to respond. Definitely recommend.

Angie and Jon were brilliant hosts,very responsive to any questions we had. we had a fabulous holiday, the place was central to everywhere we went. loved sitting outside every morning with a mug of tea and watching all the birds that visited the garden including guinea fowls and weaver birds. would recommend and hopefully will be back in a few years time. thank you.
