An extremely pleasant extended weekend in a place full of charm. Julie is cheerful, attentive and considerate. I've rarely seen such a hearty breakfast in other cottages. Likewise, we also tested the proposed meal: excellent value for money. Finally, the jacuzzi session in the troglodyte cellar ended up charming us. I highly recommend this listing.

Great stay at Jenny's and her lovely boarders! Warm welcome, wonderful place, very true to the many listing photos. Nice gentle interlude in an enchanting setting, the house, like its owner, soothing, warm and welcoming (beautiful living spaces, and all very well thought out in the smallest details, nothing is missing at Jenny's, you feel "at home"!). The jacuzzi, sauna and darts, board games, ping pong table, barbecue and more are real pluses! And I'm not talking about the wonderful and perfectly maintained green setting. You will have your privacy while being visited by some very friendly (and elegant) curious animals. 3 generations delighted with our stay, I highly recommend it! Delighted to do so. We needed somewhere to rest and catchup with each other having very stressful work lives , this location and accommodation was ideal as it was peaceful yet still close to busy areas if needed

This tranquil place is perfect for a stop over or as a base to explore the region. It is close to the motorway and yet far enough from it no to be heard. There is a medium size supermarket and a large pet store nearby which is convenient. The village itself is worth a visit, especially on market day. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding of great quality. The log burner is user friendly and efficient. There is plenty of wood made available. The grounds are vast and very pleasant. Our labrador took full advantage of them. The owner is very friendly towards both dogs and people. The mairie has recently changed the street numbers but google has yet to receive the memo so it sends you to the wrong address. Make sure you double check the address with the owner before your arrival. This was a real find for us after travelling through France for 3 months. It is a perfect mid way stop over if you are travelling up or down on the west coast, especially with a dog. We'll be back:)

We absolutely loved staying here and wish we booked longer than 4 nights! The area is so quiet and peaceful, with lots to do within a 30 minute drive, all recommended by Anneli and Jamie and things we probably wouldn’t have found if we Googled. The kitchen has lots of equipment and the bed was extremely comfy. Only thing we struggled with was how bright the bedroom was so I’d bring an eye mask if you need a pitch black room for the summer months. Perfect stay, beautifully decorated place and great location, we already want to come back!!

We had a wonderful week at Julie's place. The interior design is amazing, it felt warmly and we liked the finishing touches. The outside space was quiet and as the house comfortable. Walking the dog was easy and you have plenty of options in the village or in the nature reserve along the river. Beaumont en Veron is ideally located for discovering central Loire valley. Shopping, petrol station, train station all in about 15 min by car.

Very good weekend with friends in Brigitte's cottage, clean and spacious exteriors, nice pool, clean and very well-equipped house! a real delight!

We had a pleasant stay in a quiet area. The accommodation gave us satisfaction. The small touches from our host were very touching.

We were hosted very well by Laure, the breakfast is very hearty, taken independently. The accommodation is very cozy, close to the banks of the Loire. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the pretty setting because of the weather we brought back from Puy du Fou... We'll be happy to come back

Very good hosting by Céline, we felt immediately welcome. The chalet is very comfortable even in April. The gardens and heated pool are very pretty and well maintained, the setting is beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped even if the TV and its remote control are a little temperamental. It's just missing a sofa or a comfortable bench. Access is easy and electric vehicle charging is a real plus. The location is ideal for visiting many castles and abbeys in the area. The value for money is great, we recommend this accommodation.

My friends and I (two couples) had a great time staying at this beautiful accomodation. The location is perfect - a quiet spot in the countryside with easy access to a local town for your morning pastry and a short drive from Saumur too! The accomodation itself was well kitted out and we enjoyed multiple uses of the BBQ, and the outdoor facilities on offer (pool, table tennis, maze + much more!) kept us very busy. The spot was also a great base if keen cyclists, as we are. We can't thank May enough for being such a wonderful host and would recommend the spot to all!

Had the most amazing stay at Coyère Gite. It’s absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and felt relaxed from day one. The facilities were incredible and the Gite was the best equipped we’ve experienced. Had great days out visiting Chateau’s, beach lakes, zip wires, stunning towns, markets and fantastic restaurants. To top it all off Steve and Suzanne were the best hosts, welcoming, friendly and really helped us to get oriented as it was our first time in the Loire’s valley, plus had lots of tips for days out etc Can’t thank them enough! Would love to come back next year! Thanks again

2nd stay at Vincent's place, nice and well-appointed place for a stay with others

A beautiful setting in the grounds of Chateau Salvert, Le Pressoir is a solid, comfortable and relaxing space for two families to spend a week. Lots of open spaces for the children to explore, including the wild boar forest. I loved the short walk leading up to the chateau itself to access the large swimming pool behind, it really slowed me down. The swimming pool area was great for the kids with a lovely view down to the village where there is a bar/restaurant open at weekend evenings and in the morning for a coffee. A great base to explore the surrounding area of Saumur and several chateaus as well as troglodyte caves. There is a football pitch and park in the village which the kids loved to walk to. We enjoyed a personal and interesting tour of Chateau Salvert by Michel himself who was a very responsive and considerate host. Thank you to Michel and his family for a very enjoyable stay.
