Vacation rentals with a kayak in Saratoga County

This spot was great! It served as a base camp for the Adirondack portion of our 2024 fall expedition. It's just minutes from Lake George but not in the chaos so when you are done there you feel like you are going home. Our only regret is that we had so many road trips planned we didn't get to spend much time at Glen lake - it is so peaceful and quiet. However, It was great to wake up each morning to the sun sparkling across the lake and coming right into the living room through the trees, especially with the leaves radiating in color. Everything is right nearby so it's super convenient and it's just a minute from RT87 so you can go where ever you want. The host we're super nice, very friendly and made it feel like we were at our 3rd home - totally comfortable! We'd go back in a heartbeat...

Me and my family came to stay for the weekend just to get away and do nothing. It was so peaceful! We watched sunsets every night had a fireplace outside with wood available to use. Everything we forgot to bring, we were able to find and use here. Instantly felt like we were home away from home with the beautiful cozy furnishings. Everything was clean and had plenty of towels. We will definitely try to come back, as there was something everyone in my family enjoyed! Thanks for an amazing stay!

The house is very comfortable and very clean. It has a nice layout with a good kitchen next to a living room with very comfortable recliner couches and a big TV. The main bedroom suite is very large and very comfy and there are two other good bedrooms. The hot tub is lovely! The only thing I will mention is that we were there in the winter for skiing and the driveway is long and quite steep so we were snowed in one day because even with a four-wheel-drive Subaru we couldn’t get down it. And it took a whole day for the plow guy to come to dig us out. Luckily there was a restaurant within walking distance! I imagine it’s a very lovely spot in the summer.

My family and I had a terrific stay at this beautiful home. Olga was fantastic, always responsive if we reached out and very helpful. The home was even more beautiful and breathtaking when we first walked into the house than we could have imagined! The home was spacious and cozy, and the view was spectacular. I enjoyed waking up early to work for a few hours overlooking the lake and the beautiful view of the sunrise, enjoying a nice cup of coffee while everyone else was still sound asleep in the comfortable accommodation. The sunset was even more stunning. We will definitely return if we get the chance.

Michele was a very gracious host. She was very communicative and very considerate. Her home was comfortable, spacious, and very clean. She also had everything we needed and everything was labeled in her kitchen which I thought was so cute. Her drawers and cabinets were much more organized than mine. :) She also left some goodies for us to take home and for our little cockapoo to enjoy while at the house. Theo loved his little blanket and toy. Thank you. The view of the river was beautiful and the location of the home was close to Saratoga Spring and Lake Placid which we visited. We are definitely interested in coming back in the summer. I would highly recommend Michele's home. Thank you again!

Allie’s place was great. There were 10 of us. 8 adults and 2 children under 2. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and the lake. It was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. Allie was friendly and easy to communicate with. Thank you for sharing your house with us. We had a wonderful time and created lasting memories.

Our stay was amazing. Peaceful and secluded just like we were hoping for as a getaway from the city for us and our pup! Christine was friendly and ready to help if we needed. Our dog loved splashing in the river and the secluded nature of our cabin. Kayaking was a lot of fun and Christine had good recommendations for walking trails and food in the area. We went during her quiet season so it was pretty much just us and it was exactly what we were looking for, can’t wait to return next year.

Beautiful spot in Lake Saratoga. Second stay for us. We love the screened in porch, kayaks and ability to bring our dog and get her tired. The street needs to have the pot holes filled but it’s been a rainy summer! Beds are comfortable, kitchen well appointed. No cable TV to watch in the evening but we were exhausted anyway. Close to the track and SPAC walk every morning. Easy check in, great directions. Thanks Tim

This is the place where I would book for my next trip. Absolutely beautiful place, new and clean home amenities. Host is one of a kind person who seems does care about guests, thank you for being helpful.

We have been trying different lake houses for the last few years. We finally found one that we will stick with for future rentals! The accommodations were perfect for us! Large dock space for our boat and jet ski and also had available mooring lines if we needed those for safer boat parking) The Beach toys were endless for the kids! I loved having access to THREE grills- One at the house and two down at the beach! We also enjoyed the amazing yard for outdoor activities with the kids! Donna was great if we had any questions and she even messaged me when she was alerted of storms coming to the area! Our favorite part of this home was enjoying the beautiful sunsets from the beach! We were able to enjoy beautiful colors in the sky and watch the sunset right in front of us! It was a beautiful stay! Oh! And be sure to check out the Hills market down the road for amazing snack and drink choices and fresh beef/steak. And my favorite- cheese dips!

We ate most meals on the deck admiring the lake and scenery. Most hot days at the lake, jumping off the floating dock, swimming and kayaking the beautiful lake. Most cool nights in the hot tub. Beautiful lake and close to many places (Saratoga, Lake George). Kids really enjoyed the lake, floating dock and hot tub as well as playing darts on the deck. Tinney’s Tavern nearby had great food and was an easy walk. Nice hiking trail nearby. Joan was easily accessible for any questions that arose.

I recently stayed at a Lakeview cabin and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, with stunning views of the lake right from the porch. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect getaway for relaxation. The amenities were great, and everything was clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a serene retreat in nature. Henry was exceptional! He was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the warm welcome to the helpful recommendations for local activities, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Henry's hospitality truly made our stay special.

Wow this is a gorgeous location. Kayaked on the river, went to the nature preserve, and that was before we left the house. It is just a stunningly beautiful area. The cabin has a rustic camp vibe (wood walls and ceilings etc) but inside everything was top notch. Beds were shockingly comfortable vs. some other spots we have stayed. It did take us a minute to figure out how the shower worked, but that was nothing at all compared to our overall experience. Thank you!

I had a delightful, short stay at this cabin. It’s the perfect escape from the city, with a cozy and charming atmosphere. The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The setting is peaceful, and I enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Gorgeous, quaint, rustic Adirondack cabin like something you see in the magazines. Literally ON the water. The Hide-A-Way cottage property has tons of things to do! Great for a family trip. Location is on a serene, quiet lake but close to Lake George village if you want more activity. Host was excellent and very informative.

Marcella's cabin is perfectly situated on a quiet street where people are very friendly but not nosy. I loved taking my morning walks with our dog and being greeted by others enjoying the day. The Hudson is beautiful in the morning and right in front of the cabin! You can even enjoy it up close and personal by using Marcella's kayaks. What a way to start the day! Marcella's cabin is obviously a well loved space and is warmly decorated and welcoming. Thank you Marcella for the cider donuts!! The entire place was wonderfully clean, bright and up to date. Air conditioners in each room made sure we were comfortable the entire time. We enjoyed every minute and were sad to leave. We'd love to come back again and hope to next year. Bob and Diane did a good job to be sure we had a peaceful vacation, even with other guest cottages. They weren't in their lakeside cabin so we had access to the whole shared property. It is a lovely spot with a sandy beach. The tennis courts and kayaks were a plus. It is on a hill but we are agile and in our 70's and it was fine for us to walk to the beach. We had a lovely time.

Gregory was great allowed us to check in a little earlier which was amazing so we could hit the lake sooner! Cute cottage, beautiful spot, will definitely visit again!
