Sapphire Beach beach vacation rentals

We had a wonderful stay at Lorna's place, very comfortable with all the amenities one would hope for. Hot showers, AC, comfortable beds, kitchenware for meal prep, chairs/towels/umbrella for the beach. Lorna was a very sweet and responsive host, and even came by in person to make sure everything was ok. The property is located 15 min from the airport up in the mountains and the road to get there gets very tight and steep in spots. We had good dry weather and were able to navigate in a 4 door sedan, but if the roads were wet I would imagine its quite difficult without 4 wheel drive. Get a jeep if you come during rainy months, and note they drive on the LEFT side of the road in St. Thomas. The climb drive is rewarded with amazing over water views of Caret Bay on the north side of the island. We got up for the sunrise every day we were there, and I'm not an early morning person. Despite some of the listing photos there are no beaches within walking distance, but Brewers Bay beach (a great recommend from Lorna) is 15 minutes drive near the airport and has great snorkeling- guaranteed to see some turtles. Coki Beach and Magens Bay are 20-30 minutes, and Red Hook where the ferries and boat tours launch is 30 minutes. If you want to be able to step outside onto sand, this is not the place, but if you don't mind a little drive, Lorna's place is great for a group of 5-6 people.

First time traveling to St Thomas, and with Sabrina’s proactive outreach of all the favorite places on the island, it felt like she was our travel agent! No matter what you are planning to do, this place is close enough to it all and well worth the stay! Every night we took a walk around the beautiful property. Felt comfortable letting the teenagers go to the beach and check things out on their own. The property has security check in every time you enter, which was so nice. Listen to her recommendations!! She is spot on! Would definitely stay here again!

We would definitely stay here again! The apartment was great and had a beautiful view from the balcony. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus at the end of a beach day, as was the convenience of having a washer and dryer for wet towels. Also loved that two comfy bathrobes were included. It is such an amazing location with everything walkable within a few blocks. We rented a car but would have been totally fine without one. It is actually easier to take the taxis to the beach vs parking. We loved the convenience of having a place right in Cruz Bay and took advantage of all the incredible bars, restaurants and happy hours galore! St. John is such a fun island and Stacey’s place was just perfect.

I stayed here for my birthday and it was truly a treat. The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking - watching the sunrise and sunset each day felt like a dream, especially being able to see it right from the bed. The location was perfect, just a short distance from some stunning beaches that were both peaceful and rejuvenating. The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout the stay, and Crystal, the cleaner, was a reliable and friendly resource for rides from and to the airport. The entire experience felt easy, relaxing, and special. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a beautiful place to unwind with unforgettable views.

This was the first time we visited STT. My children and grandchildren loved the home and pool. Safety was not a concern as it is in a gated community and the home is so comfortable with absolutely beautiful views. There is an apartment on lower level that was great for my son. There are a few steps to get to the top of main house but there is an elevator lift which we really appreciated. Great way to get baggage and groceries upstairs and used for baggage when checking out. This was a great addition that was well planned out by Cathy. We would definitely go back to this home, and it is just 2 miles from Megans Beach which you can see from the front porch. Nice place to stay on St Thomas. Kurt was very responsive and provided great recommendations. House fit our group great as it was clean, spacious and a short drive from some good restaurants/places for supplies. It was a good home base for exploring the island. We would stay here again!

We stayed at St Thomas in Jackie’s place for three nights. The view from the porch was more beautiful than the pictures. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning watching the sunrise and in the evening, sunset. Jackie was so kind in offering to pick us up at the boat terminal and also allowed us to check in early too. She sent a video with clear instructions in finding the place. Jackie responded to our every need. A basket of snacks, bottled water, sunscreen and bug spray were waiting on the counter…so nice. We enjoyed our stay.

The place was nice and as described. Our room was well furnished and clean and the host was always responsive. We were able to get our groceries set up in the room! Margaritaville as a whole is a bit odd and seems to be going downhill

While St. John is our favorite place in the world, I can’t say enough about our experience at Eureka Villa — it was absolutely perfect for our two-couple group. Great location not far from Cruz Bay (and as a bonus: super close to Windmill Bar!). Was so appreciative of Elise being proactive upon our arrival to the island and personally escorting our Jeep to the location, showing us around the villa, and was more than willing to share her knowledge of the island. The panoramic view was indescribable. Loved having the cross-breeze from large glass/screen doors in the central space, while still having access to bedroom air conditioning for comfortable sleeping at night. Clean, organized, modern updates, STOCKED with home and beach supplies which saved lots of packing space for us — beach chairs, coolers, towels, snorkel gear, even had spare reef-safe sunscreen. Elise & John were immediately responsive to any questions and fantastic to work with. Already counting the days until our return.

We loved this condo. Well appointed kitchen including a dishwasher and all the appliances you could ask for. Washer and dryer were very useful after a day at the beach . Everything was so close that we didn’t feel we needed a car (even tho you get a dedicated parking space). Shared taxis to the beaches are just 5 mins walk away. We appreciated use of the included beach chairs which were easy to carry on trips .

Really responsive hosts. Squeaky clean, with a million-dollar view. The snorkel gear and cooler in the unity came in handy and is a really nice touch. We really enjoyed the pools on the property -- they are well-maintained and not crowded. Friendly staff members were always on hand to wheel you around the property, and there were always cabs at the cab stand to take us wherever we wanted to go offsite. The lobby for the resort stocks the necessities, and there is a laundry area on the property. Coki beach is well within walking distance. It packs an earthy vibe. The beach bar on the property was an epic fail for us. Great tacos, but the vulgarities and borderline bullying from the service staff (apparently it's part of schtick there) were a huge turn-off. Went back for a visit later and found the same thing again. The Margaritaville Bar next property over came in handy.

We had a wonderful stay at Meritage house! The layout was spacious with beautiful views - better than the photos in all regards. A perfect house for a multigenerational trip - we had grandparents, parents, and teens (6 people). Location was very convenient. We had a few minor issues that arose and Linda and Abby coordinated quickly to address them. Highly recommend!

This peaceful, private, and very clean studio apartment has its own entrance facing the ocean underneath the main house. Morning coffee lounging on the big, cushioned chairs and evening dinners at the cafe table on the covered patio taking in the panoramic views of the beaches below, mountains rising up out of the sea, and St. John across the water was incredibly relaxing. See Aaron's Guidebook for recommendations for a supermarket in Red Hook for bottled water and groceries, and, a local rental car company which we used (pick up/drop off at the airport was super convenient; having a rental car over paying exorbitant taxi rates is the way to go). Would like to mention the full kitchen is awesome; it is well-stocked with cookware, utensils, and dishes. We found the bed comfortable, slept great. There is a mini split and ceiling fans for climate control. The walk-in shower is really nice. Enjoyed being in touch with Aaron and Amanda. This is an Airbnb we highly recommend.

Amy’s place was clean and comfortable. The pullout couch was a full size for our friend who stayed 4 nights out of our 8 night trip. It was a little short in length and would be fine for children, but not for anyone tall. The air mattress in the closet was only a twin so she opted for the pullout. We have stayed at sapphire for the last 4 years. It was nice to have the two level condo this year and especially nice to have laundry in the unit. The assistant Staisha was very communicative and had quick response times for the few questions we had. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed this past week at You & Me on the Sea. She was so accommodating to us and always responsive to questions, concerns and spots to check out downtown! The area itself is beautiful, secluded, and close to downtown Red Hook. The space was clean, the balcony is great for morning sunrises, or even late night sunsets! I would recommend any of Shannon’s units just because she was that great of a host and I’m sure everyone who books with her receives a similar experience. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Loved staying at Lime Tree! We stayed at 2 places in St. Thomas. This one, and one at Sapphire Beach. Lime Tree has a more secluded beach. It's small, but beautiful. If you're more into amazing view than getting in the ocean, this is great! There are some reefs around to snorkle (rent from the shop at the resort), but other than relaxing and eating, there's not much to do immediately around. The grounds were kept very clean. I would definitely stay here again for a lazy, relaxed retreat.
