I loved my stay with Federico’s family. They were all super welcoming and friendly. They cooked for me and we enjoyed the food while having great conversations. They also showed me around a bit despite the rainy weather. My room was clean and spacious, and the bed big and comfortable. They also gave me a towel, which is always highly appreciated. I would definitely come back next time I’m passing by Santiago. Special thanks to Diana and that amazing walk under the rain we had together!

I made a mistake in my booking and Linssi was so kind and understanding on helping me fix it :) i would highly recommend staying with her as she is lovely and i know i will return .

a nice friendly place to stay in Santiago. I stayed here between busses to Boquete and I walked from the station to the hotel and back in the morning. I found some amazing food nearby and slept well in the quiet cool room with great air-conditioning. I used the provided desk area for some writing, a pleasant surprise. if you need a stop in Santiago you can't go wrong here.

If you’re looking for a unique hostel experience, this is the place! It’s more like staying in a large, very unique home and building, with multiple rooms and shared spaces. I stayed on the top floor, which I thought the most interesting with its wooden, attic-like yet charming feel, as it opened onto a big deck with wonderful views and a hammock. The folks living there who receive you are wonderful, very friendly and welcoming. Lots of animals about which is fun, and beautiful trees. The breakfast which is included is also great and very complete. We had a little trouble getting into the place after hours since it’s a farm and there’s a shared main gate which is closed to keep cows in etc, at the lower part of the property - so maybe arrive earlier (before 6 pm) unless you make plans with Hermann to arrive later. Also, Hermann can take a few hours to respond, so book a bit in advance to handle all necessary communications. Was a great one night stay over for me and happy to recommend.
