We really enjoyed our stay. Jairzinho always pending to make our stay perfect. It is appreciated to be able to connect with nature and enjoy walks in the surroundings. We recommend trying the food that Lina cooks, very good with local products. We would repeat without hesitation, super recommended. Our 8 and 12 year old daughters enjoy a lot of the environment.

This is a beautiful oasis in São Jorge dos órgãos, which is a great jumping off point for visiting the rest of Santiago and a great place to decompress after long flights. Our original flights were cancelled and rescheduled which led us to a less-than-ideal check-in at midnight. But Andreas was responsive and had a great member of his company’s staff, Zeny, meet us to guide us from Mercado Órgãos to the airbnb. In addition to being patient with us, as we navigated unfamiliar roads in the dark, Zeny was friendly, was able to spot us right away, and got us all set up before he left. The location is even more beautiful than it looks - if you have never been to Santiago before, get ready for breathtaking views of mountains and small towns full of friendly people along the road, no matter which direction you’re travelling. The home, yard & pool of course are spectacular, which you have probably gathered from the pictures.

Christina's lodging is as advertised. Upon arrival, Christina had several laminated pages of important information, such as, who to call for various situations, including a take out menu. On occasion, I had to contact Christina's go to person Dirceu. It was seamless. He was a gentleman and promptly answered my concerns. The ocean can be seen from the front of the house. We walked to the beach, and sat in one of several beach front restaurants in about 2 minutes. Numerous places are available for dining and shopping. There's even a shopping plaza with a cinema and grocery store inside. We will gladly choose Christina's place again. Our stay was very enjoyable!

Located a few minutes walk from the beautiful Quebra Canela beach, its restaurants and a small supermarket, Tété's house is in itself a great place. And there will be a pool soon! The studio is very nice and well-equipped: a small courtyard allows quiet breakfast. Only small downside you have to have a rental car or use taxis (low price) to get into town. The quality of the interaction with Tété is perfect: it pamperes guests and friends. Airport taxi reservation and successful music evenings as a bonus! What to make it a perfect discovery of Praia. Thank you Tété!

Thank you Johannes and Iolanda for being such warm hosts •SES, present•are for great discussions (and answering our countless questions) and for your delicious dishes! These few days spent in your apartment in the heart of a beautiful valley were very pleasant and allowed us to start hiking with peace of mind.

Paula's place is as advertised, very well equipped, a very pleasant terrace and 2 minutes from the beach. Paula is a very responsive and welcoming host like all Cape Verdeans! Thank you for everything Paula!

Karine's place is absolutely wonderful. We went to Tarrafal as a family with small children and the grand parents, the house met everyone's needs. It is spacious, clean and very charming. We parked in front of the house and did not use the car until we left the city, EVERYTHING is walking distance. Thank you Karine for being so responsive and friendly! We will be back for sure!
