Villa vacation rentals in Santa Teresa, Pérez Zeledón

Great location. Challenging to get to initially* but an absolute oasis on top of the hill. The set up with 4 suite style rooms was perfect for our family and would be ideal for a group or for as many as 4 couples with lots of privacy and such a lovely open floor plan common area. Just as pictured in the listing. Clean rooms, great A/C in the bedrooms. We did have an issue with the kitchen sink water supply malfunctioning - not something the host could have predicted, and given the inconvenience they were very responsive in trying to get it fixed and making accommodations. *Detailed instructions and photos were provided, but we arrived at night in the rain and definitely would not recommend that, especially as the hill you drive up is a dirt road that washes out when it rains. Probably only an issue in the wet or borderline wet/dry season (we came first week of Dec) but just an FYI since even our 4x4 car got stuck several times!

We had a wonderful stay at La Perla! Magali was so sweet and super helpful! We were greeted on arrival and she surprised us with coconuts, pineapple and chilled water in the fridge! She thinks about all the small details to make you feel so welcome! We chatted for a bit and she made great recommendations of all the local places to visit! We had some weather issues while we were in Costa Rica and Magali was helpful keeping an eye on road conditions for us which was above and beyond! La Perla is in a great location! Close enough to town for easy dinners out but outside of the busyness of town itself! The beach is a short walk just down the driveway! The house is very well maintained and set up great! The Housecleaner came every other day and she was so sweet as well! We will be recommending La Perla to any of our friends coming to the Santa Teresa area! If you are debating whether to choose La Perla just do it! You will not be disappointed!

Ville Helena de Hermosa was an absolute dream to stay in! SO MUCH wildlife around the property including macaws, small monkeys, iguanas, etc. made the feeling of being in the jungle even more surreal. The property is walking distance to Playa Hermosa and only a short 20-minute drive to Jaco. Thank you to Gabriel for being such a great host. He is very easy to communicate with, greets you as you arrive, and is extremely attentive to his guest's needs. Having the security guard monitor who entered and left the community gave my group and I a sense of ease when we'd leave for a full-day outing. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay in Playa Hermosa! 100/10!

What a divine place! This villa is beautifully designed and so thoughtfully appointed—it felt like a true home away from home. Just a stone’s throw from the beach, the location couldn’t be more ideal. It’s also steps away from the main road, where we found charming coffee shops, shopping, and restaurants. We were so comfortable and at ease here, and the host was absolutely wonderful—attentive, welcoming, and quick to assist with anything we needed. I can’t recommend this villa enough and look forward to returning someday!

Very spacious and nice place. Everything you need to pass the perfect instance. The location is very comfortable and accessible to the beaches and restaurants in the area. Very well cared for house, beautiful and guarantees a safe and private space.

This is our second year staying at Villa Blu and it will not be our last! The villa was just like we remebered it. The home is clean, modern and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable and the house has all the modern eminities. The pool and ourdoor area is wonderful and we find ourselves spending most of our time outside. The view is absolutely stunning! I will never grow tired of the view from the villa. Brenda and Alf along with their team on site are wonderful! Easy to communicate with and very helpful. We love this place and are already looking forward to next year's stay!

We stayed at Casa Meraki in late October, and I'll have to say it may have been one of the best vacations we've ever been on. We had two couples, both of us celebrating our 25th wedding anniversaries and everything was perfect. First, I'll say that our host Ricardo was the best we've ever had. Santa Teresa is a little off the beaten path, but he made it a seamless experience. He arranged transportation, our ATV's, sightseeing and responded to every question or need within five minutes of any request. A fantastic host that made Santa Teresa feel like a home away from home. Second, the pictures completely matched the experience. The view is breathtaking and we hung out every afternoon in the infinity pool to watch the sunset. So comfortable both inside and out. We can't say enough about this place other than we hope to go back soon. Both Santa Teresa and Casa Meraki are on our return list for sure! Ricardo, thanks for everything!

Beautiful home and incredible views! Very responsive host. Clean home with great service. Close to town but far enough away to not hear the noise—only the ocean! It's not very walkable to the beach, so an ATV or a high-clearance car is very helpful.

Just wow!!! This place was phenomenal! The pictures don’t do it justice. Berenice was also a delight, she was extremely helpful and made our stay so enjoyable! She went out of her way to make sure the bday decorations were set and the cake she helped me order was delicious. Thank you for being such a wonderful host and opening up this beautiful space for us to make so many wonderful memories! We will definitely be back!

Where to start with the Grande Casa... Jerome answered my questions about the listing within minutes of being asked at 5am local time. He was engaging and patient with the questions. Although listing indicates 3pm check-in, I asked if we could arrive early and he said sure and that there was a photographer scheduled for a shoot that morning and would check in with them. Within 10 minutes, he let us know we could arrive at 11:30am. When asked if we could drop our luggage off ahead of time, he was gracious and only asked what time we would arrive and that the luggage would be stored in the laundry room, since the rest of the house was being photographed. When we arrived at 10am, he was already outside waiting. He assisted with the luggage and went through the steps for getting into the house, security, etc. He showed us most of the house and said there would be more to see when we came back. And that there was! This is a true modern house, with a very well designed layout!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Aside from the amazing property with unbelievable views and amenities, our biggest surprise was how well the hosts took care of us on our trip. This cannot be understated, Geralyn was absolutely amazing and assisted us with anything we needed and ALWAYS responded and helped. From booking dinner reservations to excursions, or a simple pizza order for a night in, she was always a quick text away. Thank you so much for our companies unforgettable experience!!

First of all, Lisa, David, Beli and the whole team were absolutely fantastic. Great recommendations, fantastic food options and absolutely spectacular home. The drive up to the house is a little daunting, but absolutely worth the price of admission. We enjoyed the house thoroughly, and will absolutely be back soon.

We visited Nathan’s place with another family and had a wonderful time. Having been to Santa Teresa over a decade ago, we were so pleased to have stayed near our familiar surroundings. The atmosphere, home and touches were so perfect. We loved having ATVs delivered to us, which made our adventures and commute to the town and beach super quick and fun. You could certainly walk to nearby restaurants and shops, but the ATVs were a bonus. This house is a dream. Such a perfect setup for two families with kids. The infinity pool is amazing and the in fountain and view add an even greater zen touch. The place is clean, well-stocked and comfortable. The furnishings are newer and everything is decorated well. The housekeeping was impeccable and the complimentary daily laundry service was a really nice touch. We can’t wait to return to this very special home. Thank you, Nathan!

This is an excellent option for a Costa Rican vacation. I went with my family and we had the best time. The house is really nice. Very spacious, comfortable and the pool was incredible. Also, It is up on a hill which allows a beautiful view of the ocean and at the same time it's near the amazing beaches. Elion was wonderful with us, always checking in making sure everything was perfect. I strongly recommend this house and definitely plan to go back myself.

Nice clean villa with everything you need. we stayed there for a week with 2 kids. 10 min walk to the beach of the National Park, have to pay daily for entrance though. Erickson responded very gast to all the questions.would recommend!

Villa Pochote is a lovely house located just above Playa Hermosa. It has a great view of the jungle and ocean with monkeys and other wildlife. The house is well set up for a large family or group. The manager, Lua, was super responsive and helpful and the house was very well maintained. The house is in a gated compound with two other homes owned by the same group and is very private. The house is just a couple of minutes from Playa Hermosa, one of the most desirable locations in Santa Teresa with a lovely beach great for beginner surfers. It is a quiet family friendly part of Santa Teresa, with the occasional celebrity trying to be discreet. The house is on a good road (important in Santa Teresa) and is easy to get to but you will need a car or an ATV to get around. There are a couple of great restaurants in Playa Hermosa (Mantaraya) for coffee and breakfast but the bulk of the restaurants are a short drive farther down in Santa Teresa.

We had an amazing stay here. Jessica and Maria-Elena (who are the care takers on site) went way beyond in their hospitality. Everything was always clean and in good condition. Kitchen is fully stoked for a long stay. The pool is great with chairs and tables to hang out around it. The location is great with a good Soda next door, stores and other restaurants near by and the beach an easi walk down the hill (even with an overloaded stroller). One thing to note is that the place is on the main road through Puerto Carrillo so can be a bit loud at times.

Amira is an excellent host, always attentive to answering and helping. The villa is excellent, equipped with all essentials, the place is super quiet and also very good location. I would come back without thinking.

Laura was a wonderful host friendly respectful and always available for any questions we had . She was always available no matter what time we contacted her. This house was everything and more than we could ever have dreamed of. Definitely will come back again we loved Costa Rica and would highly recommend this beautiful villa. Oli’s place was beautiful, peaceful, fully equipped and just what we were hoping for! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the beds were comfortable, all the a/c units in the living area and bedrooms worked flawlessly, the pool and views from the deck were amazing and there were ample towels and bathroom amenities. Even better than the house, though, was working with Oli. She was always quick to communicate, communicated clearly, went above and beyond to help with special requests and was just overall friendly and helpful. Oli is a gold star in the Airbnb world. I can’t recommend her and her house in Punta Leona enough. I hope our travels bring us back to Costa Rica and to Oli’s place ❤️

Upon arrival at the Airbnb, Adriana was waiting for us. An amazing host, who genuinely cares about her guests. The house is in great condition, everything is spotless. In addition, it is located in an area with a beautiful, quiet environment and with a wonderful ocean view. We were pleasantly surprised to have daily housekeeping, maintenance and security staff. All staff are very respectful and friendly. We really loved the place. Super recommended. I repeat our thanks to Adriana again.
