Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sanilac County

Our stay at this beautiful home exceeded all expectations. The house was impeccably maintained, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The listing pictures simply do not do it justice—the views are breathtaking, especially the stunning sunrise over the serene lake. The peaceful environment, with its shady trees and calming surroundings, made for a perfect retreat. Our group consisted of two families with four young children, and the host thoughtfully provided everything we could possibly need, including floaties, beach toys, and chairs. It was an absolutely perfect stay, and we cannot wait to book our next visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was so peaceful and being able to see lake huron from both porches was really nice. Got up one day early enough to take a walk to the beach for a sunrise, beautiful!! We would stay hear again.

My husband and son spend the days with our granddaughter. They loved the ease of walking to the lake and the peacefulness. They said it was very clean and just what they needed. Thank you.

Terri's place was wonderful! It was very cozy and warm. The decor was beautiful and original. The area is peaceful. I felt so welcomed when I arrived and really appreciated the muffins; The beach was a two minute walk. People were friendly. I spent the weekend shopping in downtown Lexington (10 minute drive) and admiring the view of lake. Hope to return in the future!

Awesome stay with Great Lakes - we had a large group of people and the host was kind enough to even throw in an extra suite for free. The place was amazing and was well stocked, and we had a great time paddle boarding on the lake and roasting s'mores over the fire pit. Highly recommend as a great place to stay.

Don and Giselle Cottage is fantastic... The property is amazing..and absolutely stunning.... The cottage itself is very cozy and relaxing and safe feeling..... this is my 2nd time renting this property and can't wait to rent it again in the near future.... They are extremely wonder host ....and i would recommend them to all my friends....

The place is very cute and clean. The scenery is beautiful and so relaxing. I really liked the detail guidebook to the house, also had great response time with host. Definitely would book again!

While we did have a little trouble finding the place (gps issues), once we got there we immediately felt the stresses of city life start to leave our bodies. I will say it would have been a better time had the weather permitted it :’), we didnt get to enjoy the lake or beach areas nearly as much as we would have if it had been nice and warm, but we still made the most of it. Meditating by the water was def a favorite, especially going down the stairs (watch your step!) to get a real close up of the waves crashing. The cottage was adorable and perfect for 2 people, and we really appreciated the fireplace/heater as it got chilly in the night. Venturing into the small town and exploring the local shops was also very enjoyable, the people here are quite friendly and make sure you stop by Huron Cafe to get a good bite to eat!! 🫶🏼

nice quiet quaint rustic cabin. Perfect for a weekend out or just a little r&r relaxation. cute little cabin everything was well kept and fully stocked to enjoy yourselves away from home.

I stayed here with my husband, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law during Thanksgiving. The whole place was set up like a hallmark movie Christmas cottage. It was breathtaking. Ashley, the owner, was also so kind and understanding despite me needing to stay at my mother-in-law’s house a couple days and having poor response time on my part. I didn’t get service at my MILs. We would LOVE to stay here again when it’s a little warmer so we can take advantage of the outdoor games.

The cottages are quaint & cozy. # 4 has a spectacular view of Lake Huron from inside, as well as, from the private deck. It is a perfect place for a weekend get-a-way to relax & refresh.

If you are looking for a quintessential Lake Huron experience, it doesn't get much better than this. The view of the Lake is incredible, whether you are watching the sunrise, or freighters passing in and out of view. Cabin is cozy but with plenty of space for cooking, eating, hanging out and sleeps multiple people. There is no shortage of things to do from playing games, swimming, kayaking, or just hanging out and relaxing. The area is incredible quiet and serene. Strongly recommended.

Such a cozy place for my little boys and us to stay. We had everything we needed. We would love to stay again.
