We absolutely loved staying at the cabin. It was so quiet and peaceful, and exactly as described. The cabin is very thoughtfully planned out, and had everything we could have needed. The decor is super cute, and the layout was very cozy. The location is amazing as well! We took a day and hiked from the cabin to Jemez Falls and McCauley Springs since all of the trails link up and are right near the cabin! Definitely a perfect little getaway for Shane's birthday. Thank you so much for sharing the cabin with us!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. We were looking for a quiet place in the mountains to relax and recover from an especially stressful few weeks. We really enjoyed the lack of clocks and lack of a TV which encouraged us to unplug and shut our phones off for the entire weekend. The cottage has two large windows with blinds which allow you to look at the mountains rising high above. There are also 4 windows which are situated very high off the ground allowing lots of natural light without breaching privacy. We were able to rise and sleep with the sun easily due to this. We enjoyed fishing and birdwatching at Fenton Lake a short drive away. there are plenty more riverside nature opportunities closer as well as art galleries and restaurants within walking distance. The hosts also have a beautiful cactus garden with a short trail just outside the door. Finally there were some delicious chocolate cookies waiting when we arrived. This was a small slice of heaven and we are excited to return.

What a wonderful place to stay for a getaway! We really enjoyed the well-furnished casita. Everything that we needed was provided. The location was perfect. It was so peaceful. We had wonderful views of the mountains and the Chama river. Since the weather was cold, we took advantage of the kiva fireplace to add warmth and ambiance to the place. Tami and Jeff were great hosts. Communication with them was easy and very responsive. We plan to come back. Thank you Tami and Jeff!!!
