Vacation rentals with beach access in San Rafael

Arun’s place was great and in a super location. The expansive view of the bay was incredible from the unit. The place itself was very clean, modern and the kitchen was very well equipped and easy to cook in. It was walking distance to great restaurants and shops.

Frank and Kristina’s house clearly is breathtaking ! The view is amazing,, they are great hosts. The fact we can have our little dog there was a plus. Everything was perfect felt right at home.

I enjoyed spending two nights at Jeffrey’s garden-level guest room. It was very clean, the bed was super comfy, full bathroom and water heated up immediately. There’s a large kitchen with stove/oven and every appliance you might need including a seating area to have a meal. There is a nice space to sit outside on the porch or backyard or short walk to Ocean Beach and eateries. Jeffrey was easy to reach when I had a question and his hospitality was impeccable!

A sweet little oasis near the coast. I was in town for a funeral and this space was so homey and comfortable. The hot tub was a real treat, I had such a good relaxing time while in that space. Helen was very responsive. The garden smelled beautiful!

Great place! Clean and quiet. Really fun to be able to walk just a block or two to lots of nice cafés. Thumbs up!

We loved our stay at Sierra’s place. The location was great - an easy walk to the beach and the pier. If you’re a golfer, it was across the street from the golf course. Communication and check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. We were greeted with wine and snacks - super thoughtful! The bed was a little firm for my taste, but everyone has their own preferences. The kitchen was well equipped and had what we needed. Overall we had a great stay and would stay there again!

Wonderful place to stay! Nice quiet neighborhood and beautiful views of the ocean. My husband and I really enjoyed staying here and it was so nice to meet Nancy when we arrived. We really enjoyed being able to walk to MB Distillery and the marine preserve, and enjoyed stopping at one of the benches on the walk home to watch the sunset.

Stay was great! House was perfect for our family with dog. Can’t wait to come back and hopefully get better weather to enjoy the view!

Haiku House is in a quiet and friendly neighborhood with a view of the entrance to the SF bay, Lands End, and Ocean Beach. We loved our stay there because of the time it gave us to reconnect.

This was the best Air BnB I have been to. First was communication: quick responses, easy instructions for check in, and even checked in to ask if we had kids coming and if we would like toys for them to be brought out. Check in was very easy and we walked into a big beautiful house. The kids went straight to the basket of toys and doll house. In the entry way was an assortment of snacks and water bottles. In the kitchen was another welcome basket with more snacks and some fun kids cups. Just about every appliance, utensil, or cooking instrument was there! There was a front room with a TV and Nintendo switch. And another room with TV in the back of the house. The backyard is huge! So many chairs, a big table to eat at, 2 heat lamps, a fire pit, and a nice hot tub. Then, there were 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with hot hot water and good water pressure. We loved this place so much, we are about to book another trip there. Cannot recommend this enough. Amazing host! Amazing house!

Great place! This felt like a home away from home and that we were truly living how a local would due to how homey it was. We met Laura and she helped with everything we needed, which added an extra special touch. It was really easy to get into downtown San Fran from here, so didn’t use our car at all! Would happily stay again.

Vivian' Place was AMAZING for our Thanksgiving Holiday!!! Vivian was so helpful and very kind, which made us feel very welcome. The house is much larger than it looks in the pictures and the bedrooms are open and roomy. Plenty of parking and great little backyard area. Location was perfect! One minute walk to a lovely little coffee and pastry shop that we visited each morning. There is also a lovely hotel right down the street where we had two guests stay who joined us for meals. Quick drive to quaint Half Moon Bay for shopping and great restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were high quality. Large kitchen island which was great for gathering and preparing meals. Also, the dining room table was so nice for meals and plenty of room for all of us or just a few of us. Very easy Check-Out which we really appreciated, having to dash to the airport to fly out of SFO. Will definitely stay at Vivian's place again!!! Great Host and Property!!!

I was looking for a location that would provide a peaceful retreat for a family visit, and Montara Beach House exceeded my expectations in every way! Judy is a truly exceptional host, and from the moment I walked in the door I felt like a valued guest. Check in was a breeze, and Judy provided clear and comprehensive instructions for everything, from an overview of the amenities to recommendations for local outings and shopping/restaurants. She was also very responsive to any questions I had before and during the stay, which was much appreciated. As for the house, it was absolutely perfect. Judy's attention to detail was evident in every room. Although it was too cold to sit outside, the outdoor spaces and the gardens are inviting and well-cared for. The house is a short walk to a spectacular beach, and a short drive to wonderful hikes and great restaurants. All in all, a fabulous location and a memorable stay. Hoping to come back in a warmer season!

The Airbnb we stayed at in Pacifica was fantastic! The oceanfront location was perfect for unwinding after work, and the space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Traffic to and from San Bruno was manageable, and we loved exploring the local coffee shops and walking along the scenic ocean path. Highly recommend for both business and leisure stays!

If you are looking for a place by the water in SF this is a great option for you. There is a Safeway just in front of the apt which is super convenient and there are many parking spaces on the street if you need them.

We had a great time staying at Melanie Joy's place. The location can't be beat, and her place was clean and spacious for the two of us. Would recommend for a nice stay in peaceful in Pacifica.

Kimberly's place is great! For a short or long stay it has everything you need. She was super welcoming. She comments on having kids and you'll probably hear them. However they make very little noise above you and with the TV on you don't hear them at all. Thanks for opening your home!

We can't say enough about this place, a very welcomimg host, very responsive to our needs inclusing purchasing a coffee set up when we mentioned it. It has a beautiful view from the dining room, we/I will definitely stay here on our next SF visit! It was fabulous!!

This is the second time staying with Andrew and Irene and I love it! You can't beat the location - tucked a few blocks away from both the Presidio and the shops/restaurants on Chestnut. Andrew and Irene are gracious hosts and very accessible, but the unit still feels very private and safe. Highly recommend!
