Eda is a really good host: very responsive and helpful. She also anticipates possible issues ant stayed available even though she was out of the area on vacation. The yard is private, well cared for, and very attractive. The cottage is very tastefully done and felt cozy. Parking is very convenient.

We had a very comfy stay at Mike's bungalow. I especially appreciated the cleanliness! We also liked that it was close to the Stanford campus and within walking distance of a grocery market and a delicious coffee shop/brunch place. Parking on the street was easy. We were surprised to find a large day-bed in the small living room instead of a couch, because that didn't match the photos. It made it a bit hard to sit and chat together -- but it was good as an extra lounging space. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Charming, quiet and spacious with a beautiful backyard. Lots of natural light, beautiful original hardwood floors, comfortable beds. Big dining room table ideal for games, well equipped kitchen. We loved this quiet neighborhood convenient to services including a nearby Trader Joe's. It's also just a few minutes walk from El Cerrito Natural Grocery and Annex, a fantastic spot. Friendly, responsive hosts. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area!

This place is a gem! It feels like you are in a tree house with almost 360 views. I stayed here during my wedding and it was amazing. It made my wedding that much more special. The house is a bit older but nothing that took away from the beauty of this home.

Callie's place (the downstairs apartment) is peaceful and serene and has a view of San Francisco Bay and the city beyond through the towering trees. The layout of the interior is a little quirky but the space is comfortable and homey. The kitchen is adequate with basic kitchenware, appliances, and spices. This is a great place to stay if you have a dog, as the place comes with a dog bed, blankets, and bowls. We will definitely stay there again if traveling with our dog!
